Freesia-san’s cooking practice was gradual. You can’t just expect someone who hadn’t learned any chores for centuries to suddenly be able to do so, after all.

Dante-san was trying his hand in various jobs in the Sanctuary.

He refused to help in my office.

Etoile, Haruka, and Flora were born not even three months ago.

The Elf Etoile’s and Human Haruka’s growth were within my expectations.

Granted, I hadn’t married in my previous life as a salaryman and couldn’t experience a life of watching a baby’s growth, so I couldn’t be absolutely certain, but……

Flora spotted me and started crawling on the soft carpet.

「Takumi-sama, Beastkin babies grow quickly so this is normal. A fast grower would have started crawling by the second month.」

「Yes. It isn’t as fast as baby felines, but I’ve heard that they grow much faster than normal people.」

She said that Mermaid babies grew quickly too. They give birth in a cove close to land where the waves are calm, and, for a short while, lived on land.

Though they were similarly Beastkin, there were differences with carnivores and herbivores aside from their beastly characteristics.

「Daa!」

At that moment, Flora reached me, grabbed at my pant cuffs and looked up at me. Is that a look telling me she wants something?

「What’s up, Flora? Do you want Papa to carry you?」

When I held Flora in my arms, she laughed in delight. I knew that that fact alone made my face loosen from so much happiness and cuteness.

When Marnie boasted about Flora, Maria chimed in about how great Haruka was too.

「Yes. Undine-sama and Dryas-sama said so.」

「Then there should be no problem.」

Perhaps because my body was especially made by Norn, as well as because of raising my level, I possess magic power far past the limits of Humans, and I don’t know if it was also because Maria was also a high level human far above the norm, but the magic power that Haruka possesses was extraordinarily larger than other human children.

「Yes. it would be difficult to keep the all the Spirits from talking.」

If it were higher ranking spirits who were more intelligent or rational, Sylph and the Great Spirits could be told not to, but Spirits intermediate and lower rank would have a hard time holding their tongue as they were similar to innocent children.

「Daa?」

「It’s okay, Flora. Are you worried about Papa?」

Soothed by Flora patting my cheeks with her tiny little hands, I decided that anything is fine and to just fight back.

Cuteness is justice.
