Chapter 147: Chapter 147: Growing City



[3rd POV]

The assimilation of her new characters had gone by rather quickly, and had been...rather incredible. Darth Vitiate was...on an entirely different level than the other Star Wars characters she had gotten to that point, with him being able to quite literally drain the life forces of entire planets, mind control entire populations, and a hell of a lot more. And thanks to her being the combination of over a billion souls...she had a LOT more power in the force than him, like, far more.

Gwen wasn't even sure how powerful her control over the force was, but she imagined it was closing in on the likes of the Brother, Sister, Father, and even Abeloth. And considering how powerful they were, that was saying something.

Hogoromo had surprisingly strengthened her eyes a bit, but thanks to her absorbing hundreds of Hyuga's, as well as a few of the Uchiha (Obito, Madara, Sasuke, Itachi) her eyes were massively stronger than any other dojutsu, especially now that they were a combination of the Tenseigan, Rinne-Sharingan, Kokugan, Jogan, Heimdall's eyes, and all the others.

It's safe to say that her eyesight was beyond most. There weren't many beings in the universe that could compare, and that did were mostly godly beings like Celestials and literal gods like Odin.

Invincible and Omni Man were both quite good, mainly because the Viltrumite species had a lot of potential thanks to their almost Zenkai like boosts that happened after near death experiences. Even if she couldn't die, it would still be a good thing to have.

Megatron and Shockwave had strengthened her "Spark" and made her even stronger, with her Matrix of Leaderships seemingly growing more and more with every Transformer she had gotten.

Wonder Man was the best of the Marvel characters, as he was deeply connected, and quite literally made of "Ion Energy" and can manipulate it. He also could change his own size and had some other abilities that were pretty interesting.

Out of all the characters, it was Trihexa that Gwen had been surprised by. Unlike what was shown in the series, the character had been more...unique than Gwen had expected. It was the "Imperial Beast of the Apocalypse" but more than that, it was a creature of pure and absolute Chaos. Its very form was chaotic and constantly changing, and more than that, it was constantly evolving and growing. Had it not been sealed away, Gwen was confident that it would have far surpassed Great Red and Ophis.

The creature was deeply connected to both Apocalypse and Chaos, just as Great Red was connected to Dreams and Ophis Infinity. Thus, Gwen had decided to dub Trihexa as "The Apocalyptic Dragon God of Chaos", as it was, at one point, a Dragon similar to Ophis and Great Red, and had been born from "Apocalypse and Chaos" just like Great Red was born from "Dreams" and Ophis "The Infinite".

She could already feel its effects on her, as her power over Chaos Magic had grown massively, and she could feel the Lords of Chaos were growing close to waking up. The Lords had all been asleep for quite some time now, as they adapted to the new multiverse, and massively grew in power. Power that Gwen couldn't utilize until they were "Stabilized" but she suspected once they were, Nabu would be much closer to his comic counterpart, as will the others.

The power that Trihexa had, had seemingly been assimilated with the Omega Energy, as it began to grow more and more overtime, mutating and evolving into something...new. And it seemed that it would only continue to grow more. Whatever it was becoming, Gwen was excited to see whatever it was.

This new power was also interacting with her power over Dreams, a power that she hadn't really used much, due to the other entities that ruled over it, but it looked like she would need to test it out soon, with the way her power over it was growing at a steady pace, similar to what she had gotten from Trihexa.

At the moment Gwen was on Mars, quiet and in concentration as she was working on a very delicate and dangerous item. A "Star Core" as she had dubbed it. A miniature star that would power the city of Mars. It was only the "Beginner" core of sorts, with her already planning on eventually taking the idea of the timelords, and making her own "Eye of Harmony".

This core was FAR FAR more complicated, and would require an absolute monstrous amount of preparation, materials, and being incredibly careful. This Eye of Harmony was created by suspending time around an exploding star that was in the act of becoming a black hole, giving her the ability to harness the potential energy of a star that would never explode. In essence, a source of practically infinite, incredible energy.

It was this Eye of Harmony that powered the ENTIRE Time lord civilization, and had the ability to power the very Tardis that the Doctor had used, and all other Tardis's at the same time.

But this would be a huge undertaking, so she decided to push it off until she had the right materials, as it was made through some very very very specific materials and methods, ones that required other advanced technology.

Breathing out a sigh, Gwen pulled her hands back as the core glowed a soft sun golden color, as a smile formed on her face.

[This but gold/yellow like the sun]

"Finally done" Gwen muttered as she walked through the growing city on Mars, the capitol building having been finished recently thanks to her clones.

It had been around a month since she had assimilated the new characters and started teaching at the school, and the progress on the city had been growing rapidly, with more and more of the city being completed everyday, thanks to the amount of clones she had created.

The teaching aspect had been slow going, as she had expected, with only a few students having grown much. Iceman and Blob were the two that had grown the most over that time, with both Rogue and Jean still struggling, thanks to the intricacies and nature of their powers. Jean had learned a bit on how to control her power, thanks to Gwen's methods involving meditation, but Rogue hadn't gotten very far due to her still getting over the psychological aspects of things, an aspect that was hindering her massively, and was taking a long time for her to get past it.

Robert had already learned a bit about how to manipulate and control water, growing his control over his own power, which would only continue to grow thanks to Gwen's influence. Blob on the other hand, had managed to slightly change his wax form, making himself slightly slimmer, growing closer and closer to gaining control over his form, and looking at least somewhat normally shaped again.

Placing the new power source in its "Core" where it's power would then be circulated to the rest of the city, Gwen watched with a pleased grin as it began to glow, it's energy being pumped across the city to the buildings and other pieces of technology, that had already been completed and were ready to run.

"Good, now that that is over with, I can start to work on the "Outer shell" that will be shielding this place from outside attacks. The magic part should be easy enough, but the technological aspect is going to take a bit of time" Gwen said with a hum, looking through the eyes of her clones who were working on the shield right now.

The shield wouldn't be finished for another couple of weeks, and was going to be powerful enough to take blasts that could destroy a planet, both magical and not. And not only would it be able to take them, it would be able to absorb the blast, and then redirect it back at the attacker, even stronger than before.@@novelbin@@

With the creation of the core completed for now, Gwen stopped as she felt memories flow into her head from one of her clones, her eyes widening at what it had found, before a wide grin formed on her face, as she teleported off, one final thought on her mind.

'Time to go treasure hunting'

Next chapter will be Gwen finding a rather powerful object that will be used later on in the story. There will be another later on that will appear, that will be just as important. Gwen will be doing more and more science stuff, so you can expect chapters dedicated to that.

She'll also be having some moments with her girlfriends soon, probably in two chapters, as they've sort of been in the background at the moment.
