Chapter 1560: Facing Zhuo Gudao

Seeing as he succeeded in stopping Shang Xia’s momentum, Zhuo Gudao planned to make his next move. Shang Xia realized it was futile to crash head-on into the spatial vortex and he started to fly further away so that he would be able to react in time.

The spatial vortex exploded the next moment, shattering the void. A massive spatial tunnel was created the next instant, connecting to the void right outside the Spirit Tinkle World’s heavenly screen.

Surprisingly, Zhuo Gudao wasn’t going to bother with Shang Xia! His true goal was still the Spirit Tinkle World.

He had even seen through Shang Xia's attempts to delay time, and the movement of the Star Origin Dao Field was no secret to the Spirit Worlds. It was a matter of time before they reacted.

When the spatial tunnel formed, Shang Xia knew that he had miscalculated.

However, it didn’t happen immediately and Shang Xia slowly turned around to see an old expert with a rosy complexion slowly emerging. The Star Origin Dao Field stood calmly behind him.

"You’re Shang Xia of the Spirit Luxuriant World?!" The old expert scrutinized the young man before him, his eyes revealing a mix of surprise and curiosity.

"Are you Sage Zhuo Gudao, the former Star Origin Guards Commander?” Shang Xia asked. It was his first face-to-face encounter with a Sage.

He could sense that although the person before him wasn’t a clone, his aura was completely integrated with the Star Origin Dao Field. In fact, he felt like he was a part of the Dao Field.

"Remarkable young man!" Zhuo Gudao first nodded in praise, but the condescension in his eyes couldn’t be completely dismissed. He continued, "You did what you could. The Spirit Tinkle World isn’t your concern. I believe it wasn’t easy to reach your current state of cultivation. If you plan to continue interfering, I won’t hold back any longer!”

Shang Xia suddenly chuckled, "Is it your turn to buy time now?"

Shang Xia’s figure, exposed from the region of chaos, quickly turned to retreat.

Unfortunately, the starlight didn’t seem like it would stop after sealing the void. It started to stretch towards Shang Xia to swallow him completely.
