Chapter 1602: Turning The Situation Around and Backup Plan

"That clone definitely received a strand of the Star Origin Lord’s awakened consciousness... However, he didn’t waste any time as he waved his hand to shatter the separate space he created, releasing the True Immortals of the 3 World Alliance.

In the brief moment they were thrown into the separate space, 2 third tier True Immortals looked like a mess. Even Qu Guan, a seasoned fourth tier True Immortal, looked deeply shaken.

Zhuo Gudao was very close to the heavenly screen of the Essence Ping World. If the True Immortals of the 3 World Alliance wanted to help, they would definitely be dragged into the mess.

Shang Xia quickly pointed towards another direction already affected by the great battle, "Look there, the people from the Star Origin Lord Manor are retreating..."

Qu Guan looked in the direction he indicated but saw nothing and could not sense anything. "How do you know?"

Before Shang Xia could explain, Kou Chongxue stepped forward and frowned. "Let’s retreat as well.”

However, before they could get far, 2 of the 3 clones attacking Zhuo Gudao successfully merged, and the newly fused clone’s aura underwent a significant transformation.

Zuo Li and Kou Chongxue heard from Shang Xia about the existence of the puppets that had the strength of True Immortals and were shocked by the discovery.

Kou Chongxue wondered out loud, "Is he really afraid of those puppets that possess the strength of True Immortals?”

Shang Xia didn't immediately answer but closely observed and sensed the distant area already twisted and obscured by the void. After a moment, he mumbled, "Those puppets seem to be forming a battle formation with the clone!”

Almost as if to confirm what he said, as soon as the words left Shang Xia’s lips, a blinding light emerged from the region of shattered space. A curtain of stars appeared in their sights.

However, just as Shang Xia and the others thought Zhuo Gudao might be in trouble, the void that concealed the heavenly screen started to crumble. Along with it came the powerful fluctuations that were no weaker than a powerful current in the chaotic streams. The effects were so powerful it crashed into Shang Xia and the rest in an instant.

Shang Xia barely managed to stabilize the void around him with Void Seal when Kou Chongxue and Zuo Li were sent tumbling into the void by the powerful spatial current. He failed to locate them immediately but he wasn’t too worried about their safety.

After all... Even though the spatial currents were intense, the fluctuations only lasted for a short second and it was unlikely experienced fifth tier True Immortals like them would be harmed.

Looking around him, Shang Xia eventually understood what happened.

More than 200 Star Origin Guards appeared and under Tong Yutang’s leadership they deployed their grand formation spanning 100,000 miles. They formed a powerful wall and the powerful fluctuations failed to push them away in the slightest.
