Chapter 1632: Accelerated Transformation Process Spirit Ruling World!

The last sun in the Alkaid position of the fifth Star Chart was finally confirmed to be useful.

Despite the movement of the sun being somewhat unexpected, overall, it was still within Shang Xia’s acceptable range.

From then on, the seven suns required for Shang Xia's ascension to the Seven Star Realm had been fully determined. The origin light harvested from these stars was carefully preserved by him, serving as an essential part of activating the process of entering the Seven Star Realm.

Yan Ming was wrapping up, trying to recover and repack reusable materials as much as possible while also avoiding leaving noticeable traces in the void to prevent drawing unnecessary attention.

That was usually a meticulous process, and Shang Xia would normally help, but this time he only let his External Avatar assist while he himself remained pensive.

Yan Ming had noticed that ever since the sun in the Alkaid position had been confirmed to be useful, Shang Xia had seemed distracted.

Seeing that she had neatly packed everything, she walked up to him and asked, "What are you thinking about so intently?"

Shang Xia snapped back to reality and smiled. "Nothing much, just that when I was harvesting the origin light, I suddenly had an insight and was calculating the possibility of upgrading a rank four talisman to a rank six talisman."

Having been traveling with Shang Xia for some time and barely able to catch a break, Yan Ming finally found something to talk about other than the art of Stargazing. Now that she had completed her task, she was a lot more relaxed. She couldn’t help but ask, "Oh, what talisman is that? What are the chances?"

"It’s the fourth rank Golden Sun Inferno Talisman." Shang Xia continued, "After extracting the origin light of the suns, I might be able to infuse a part of the power it contains into the talisman, raising it to the level of a rank six talisman!”

Yan Ming chuckled in response, "The origin light is a top-tier rank six spiritual treasure obtained from refining the energy of a sun! If we consider the sun at the Alioth position and the twin suns in the Mizar position, the quality is closer to the seventh rank. Using treasures like them to upgrade a rank four talisman seems like a waste. It would be more straightforward to throw the strand of origin light at your enemies to burn them to bits in battle!”

Shang Xia hurriedly waved his hand and yelled, "No, no, no, of course I wouldn't integrate a strand of the origin light into the talisman. Instead, I will draw out a portion of energy into the talisman ink or infuse a small part of it into the talisman to boost its strength. I would even be able to use the talisman brush to draw a portion of energy into the talisman.”

"However, it wouldn’t be easy to achieve the latter method. The simplest and most direct method would be fusing the origin light into the talisman ink…”

Initially, Shang Xia seemed to be explaining his plan to enhance and upgrade the fourth rank talisman to Yan Ming in detail, but as he continued to speak, he started mumbling to himself, completely ignoring her.

Yan Ming was familiar with people entering such strange states but continued to ask, "So… How should you fuse it into the ink? How much of the origin light would you use up in the process?”

"Well, liquid ink wouldn’t work for sure. Or at the very least, it would be too difficult. It should be best if we integrated it into the ink stick during the production process… In that case, a single strand of origin light should be used to make 1 ink stick. A complete ink stick can be used to produce 5 to 7 talismans. However, during the actual process, it’s not uncommon to fail halfway, and an ink stick should be used for around 10 to 13 attempts…” Shang Xia mumbled. “In that case, an ink stick infused with a strand of rank six Sun Origin Light would be able to create 4 to 5 rank six Golden Sun Inferno Talismans.”

Yan Ming gasped in shock. “Yeah, that’s if you’re the one crafting it! If other rank six Talisman Grandmasters were to try, they would be lucky to craft 2 or 3 rank six Golden Sun Inferno Talismans!”

Shang Xia’s train of thoughts was interrupted by her outburst once again, but instead of being annoyed, he laughed, “The Golden Sun Inferno Talisman is relatively easy to craft among rank four talismans. Even if I upgrade it to the sixth rank, it will still be easier than other talismans of the same rank. A rank six Talisman Grandmaster might be able to craft it after gaining some experience.”

Shooting him a sideway glance, Yan Ming sneered. "Alright, alright. Aren’t we supposed to be rushing back to the Spirit Luxuriant World? Why are we talking about upgrading talismans now? And why are you telling me, a Grand Stargazer, how to craft talismans? Wouldn’t it be easier to craft one and show it to me?”

"Who says I haven't made one?" Shang Xia suddenly smiled and, to Yan Ming's astonishment, pulled out a talisman from his sleeve. It seemed to be embroidered with golden threads and he handed it over to her. "Here, a rank six Golden Sun Inferno Talisman. To distinguish it from the rank four Golden Sun Inferno Talisman, I gave it a new name. It’s called the Sun Origin Light Talisman.”

"You… You didn’t really give much thought to the name, did you?” Yan Ming couldn't help but smirk. After some time, she asked, "When did you make this talisman?"

Shang Xia couldn’t help but laugh, “Actually, I've had the idea of using the origin light to upgrade the talisman for a while now. I only managed to find the time to do it when Zhu Nang and the others arrived while you fixed the Star Ship. He brought over some rank six talisman paper among the resources he delivered and on a whim, I tried it out and succeeded on the first try. However, the upgraded talisman contains an entire strand of origin light, and like you were complaining before, it’s somewhat of an overkill.

Yan Ming turned her head away and mumbled, "Like I said, you should be sharing your experience with other Talisman Grandmasters. You should take a look at their reaction after. What’s the point of bragging to a Grand Stargazer like me?”

The next moment, she heard Shang Xia’s voice coming from behind her, “Anyway, the Sun Origin Light Talisman is of no use to me. I’m giving it to you so you can protect yourself.”

Yan Ming's previously frustrated expression instantly blossomed into a smile. Turning around, she gave him a bow. "Thank you, Grandmaster Shang, for your generous gift!"

Shang Xia didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. In the end, he simply mumbled, "Let's go, we've stayed here too long, and there's still a lot to do!"

Shang Xia summoned his small Star Ship, called his External Avatar, and brought Yan Ming on board before setting off. They accelerated into the depths of the void.

However, just a moment later, Yan Ming voiced her confusion, "Aren't we heading in the wrong direction? Aren't we supposed to return to the Heaven Observation Field as soon as possible?”

In a casual voice, Shang Xia muttered, “Before returning, there’s something else I need to do.”

"What is it?"

Looking at her, Shang Xia sighed, "The transformation of the Azure Ruling World into a Spirit World is still too slow! I need to accelerate the process!”
