Qiao Xuan wore a thoughtful smile and continued, “Husband, do you think someone placed Qiao Wei in our team just to irritate me? There must be a motive, right? But what could someone like Qiao Wei possibly do for others? I can’t fathom any purpose for her presence.”

Qiao Wei didn’t possess even a fraction of the knowledge that Qiu He did, yet the latter was appointed as her maid. From the bits of information she’d overheard, Qiao Wei hadn’t taken any actions or even relayed information to anyone. So, what role could she possibly play in this team?

Shao Yunduan also began to mull over the matter. “What you’re saying does raise questions…”

Upon closer consideration, it did indeed seem peculiar.
