Chapter 384 Chapter 384: Plans to survive
Silva appeared back where he had started. It seemed that time had frozen after she took him and only restarted after he arrived back.
"That bitch," Silva cursed. He looked at the castle and lost interest in going in. He turned and walked away, then snapped his fingers. A massive purple flame appeared over the castle and kept growing and growing.
"Holding myself back all this whole time has been a pain. Because of it, I lost people I should not have lost, friends and family that are dear to me, because I believed that bitch had a plan.
If only I knew that all she was doing was for her selfish desire... sigh, it doesn't matter now. I'm tired of it all," Silva said. He snapped his fingers a second time, and the fireball fell into the castle.
The flame exploded on contact. The explosion was massive, bringing down the entire castle. The blast was very widespread.
Silva didn't stop there. He snapped his fingers again, and flames started appearing above the entire capital.
Everyone who was still alive looked up at the sky with fear written over their faces. Silva contacted the guardians and the rest.
"Leave the capital now. I'm ending this," Silva said. He barely counted up to ten before allowing the flames to start falling. The entire capital was burned down to the ground. Silva walked through the flames.
His steps were slow and heavy. He started to understand what Lily had always been showing him—the future filled with war and death.
"You would think that coming to a new world would have its upsides and happy moments, but every fucking time I actually get some happiness, something comes to spoil it," Silva complained. He let out a small pained chuckle, then turned into a dragon and flew away.
He landed outside and transformed back. He looked at the capital burning before his eyes, but this was the least of his troubles.
The demons were out, and that meant things were about to get extremely serious. He needed to find a way to keep his whole family safe somehow.
"I need to get Elsa and Aris back," Silva said to himself. He immediately contacted Elsa. He hadn't done that in a while since he had sent her on a special mission, but that was no longer important. At this point, the only thing that mattered was that he managed to get all of them back together.
"Daddy!" Elsa called out in happiness when Silva contacted her. Her joy was evident through her voice.
"Hello, Elsa. I'm happy you are fine," Silva greeted first.
"And where's my greeting?" Aris asked.
"I'm happy you are fine as well, Aris. I'll get right to the point. You have to come back, and as fast as possible.
I know you can tell already—something is wrong. Well, the seal has been broken. The demons have been released. They will soon start attacking if we don't find a way to keep ourselves safe.
I will be heading toward the Elven Empire, so both of you should head that way and meet us. Nowhere else is safe in this world right now—no realm, no hidden space.
I need all of you if we are going to create a defense that can stand against them. The elves had their wall created around them, and also the World Tree. That is probably going to be the best defense we can get," Silva explained.
"We understand you. We will head back now. If the demons are truly free, then this might spell an apocalypse," Aris responded.
Silva stopped talking to them and waited for the guardians to come and meet him. After a few minutes, they all found him. He waited until all of them had gathered before he spoke.
"I'm sure all of you felt the strange energy. That was the reason for me rushing the destruction of Ronan. The seal has been broken, and now the demons are free, roaming this world," Silva said.
The air got heavy as they heard Silva's words. True demons—the most feared existence after the celestials. Wasn't that the end of the world?
"I know most of you are thinking about how we can survive this, how we can fight this, but we will not be giving up anytime soon.
I have people I want alive—all of you. I want you to stay alive and be there with me. My mistakes have already caused so much harm and destruction.
I don't want this to continue. If I had handled the demon blood situation faster, all this would not have happened. And though it has happened, I will not be giving up.
There is a way out, and we will find it. The demons have only just come out. They are intelligent beings. They should understand that there might be things in this world now that are as strong as them.
Sure, it's not true, but that slight lack of information can buy us well-needed time. What I want us to do is head to the Elven Empire and meet the others. The elves have the tree wall and those monsters inside.
With that, we might be able to add a little bit more of our own help and manage to block off the empire. I feel they won't go for the elves yet. Rather, the dragons and the Holy Kingdom will fall first," Silva explained. Read new chapters at My Virtual Library Empire
"Wait, why are they going for the races that helped them fight the celestials?" Dawn asked.
"Because back then, they were puppets. History might have failed to see this, but the demons created the other races to use as weapons, which meant they controlled them.
But now, after their sealing, all these races have gained freedom. And I'm sure, in the sight of war-seeking beings like the demons, freedom from them is treacherous," Drake explained.
"I understand. So that means they are here to wipe out all races," Dawn said.
"Yes, and create the battleground for when they release the celestials," Silva said.
What do you think?
