STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Chapter 119 Part 2: Exploring the forbidden place

Time passed.

Everyone behaved properly until they reached the destination. The destination was shrouded in white mist. It was the first time for everyone to come here.

Violet Heath's eyes flickered. She was looking at the place for the first time as well. She had heard from the family elders that this place was dangerous for low-level Beast Tamers.

But she was confident that she could explore the area with her team.

"Everyone, listen carefully. This place is known as a Forbidden Zone. It was newly discovered. So far, no one has tried to enter. We are the first group from City A."

"So everyone should keep their eyes open. If you find anything interesting, you should inform me right away," Violet Heath said in a serious tone.

"Don't worry, miss. We will help you complete the mission," one of the Heath Family Beast Tamers shouted.

Hearing that, others reacted as well. The University Beast Tamers voiced their support. Before coming here, Violet had briefed everyone.

She did it once again to make them cautious.

"Let's go," Violet Heath said.

The next second, everyone started entering the white mist.

"Jeremy, if you want, you can act alone," Violet Heath said.

Hearing that, Jeremy's eyes flickered. He nodded to her. His only worry was the Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts and above.

Since the place had become a dangerous zone after the mutation, he thought there was a possibility of encountering a beast's lair inside.

He gripped the katana in his right hand tightly. He then started following the others inside. As he entered the white mist, he felt a strong concentration of natural energy in this place.

"Wow!"

"This place has rich natural energy!"

"Our lifeline beasts can get stronger here."

"We should find a place to practice!"

The other Beast Tamers reacted. Everyone was taken aback by the pure natural energy in this place.

Jeremy didn't mind the others because his unknown egg lifeline beast was actively absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings.

No one could see it, but a large amount of natural energy entered Jeremy's body. He immediately felt the leftover warm energy rushing inside him.

Most of it was being absorbed by the unknown egg lifeline beast.

After collecting his thoughts, Jeremy brought his attention to the outside world. He saw that the teams had split.

The Heath Family Beast Tamers were going in one direction to search. The University Beast Tamers went in the opposite direction.

Seeing that, Jeremy decided to go straight and deeper. Since he had agreed to help her, he at least needed to find something valuable.

As time passed, Jeremy walked over the uneven ground before finding a large tree at the end of the path. Jeremy was taken aback by the sight of a humongous tree over 150 feet in height.

His eyes gleamed with excitement. If such pure natural energy existed in this place, he felt it was normal for a tree to grow this tall.@@novelbin@@

Hiss!

Suddenly, he felt a sense of crisis. When he heard the hissing sound, he brought the katana blade forward.

His eyes wandered around before finding the enemy.

A giant tree snake lowered its head and looked down at him. The rest of its body was on the tree branch.

"The snake's head is half the size of my body," he thought.

Then he circulated the starlight energy. He didn't want to take any chances; he felt a threat from the beast.

Hiss!

The tree snake continued to hiss, a menacing Tier-3 aura radiating from its body. It had found its prey and was ready to strike at any moment.

Its large pupils flickered.

On the other hand, the starlight energy covered his katana blade.

Swoosh!

The next second, the tree snake attacked. Its huge body jumped off from the branch in a split second.

If the tree snake fell on anyone else, that person's body would get squashed.

At the same time, Jeremy's talent began to work. Even though the beast moved its whole body in an instant, yet under Jeremy's eyes, the scene was passing slowly.

He could perfectly set his aim and target it.

"Triple Rapid Cuts!"

Jeremy then perfectly executed his sword technique.

Cut!

He sprinted forward before making three rapid cuts in succession. The starlight-filled blade easily penetrated the neck of the beast, leaving behind three massive scars.

Pfff!

Blood started gushing out from the ruptures. The tree snake's pupils lost their color before its body dropped to the ground.

Tud!

The shockwave swept across the surroundings. Jeremy's eyes flickered. He thought he could decapitate its head, but he found that the Tier-3 beast was stronger than he had expected.

Its aura was many times stronger than the Tier-3 beasts he had encountered so far.

Suddenly, a look of realization dawned on Jeremy's face.

"Pure natural energy," his eyes gleamed with excitement.

If his guess was true, then all other beasts would be more powerful than normal corrupted beasts. He then placed the corpse inside the storage ring.

Jeremy then changed his direction and started investigating the area.

Similarly,

The other Beast Tamers were encountering corrupted beasts that were more powerful than the average beasts outside.

Meanwhile,

Boom!

A powerful purple flame struck the body of a Tier-3 hybrid beast. The beast flung backward before smashing into the ground.

The purple flame continued to burn its body before turning it to ashes.

Violet Heath's eyes flickered.

She said, "The beasts here are stronger than usual."

"Yes, miss. We have to be careful of Tier-4 beasts and above. If such powerful beasts exist, I will take you to leave right away," Vivian said in a solemn tone.

A helpless glint flashed in Violet's eyes. She knew Vivian's responsibility was to protect her, not others. If danger occurred, she wouldn't rescue others.

She didn't clarify it earlier because it would create discord.

"I hope there are no powerful beasts here," she said in her heart. Then they began to go deeper.

Meanwhile, the University Beast Tamers found themselves in a difficult situation where it was becoming harder for them to kill the beasts attacking them.
