STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Wilderness:

Time passed.

Jeremy was looking for a safe place to get healed, but he found a group of Beast Tamers from the Beast Taming Association.

Initially, they simply glanced at each other.

Jeremy left the place after glancing at them, but not long after, he found the group of Beast Tamers following him from behind.

His eyes flashed with a cold glint. They were all middle-aged and above. He thought they were veteran Beast Tamers, but their actions were disgusting. He didn't expect them to target him.

"Kid, where are you going?"

Just as he was about to use the movement technique, he found himself surrounded by them the next moment.

"Seniors, what do you want?"

"I'm on my way to the city gate. Your actions will bring trouble to you," Jeremy warned them.

"Ha...Ha....Ha..."

Hearing that, the Beast Tamers looked at each other and started laughing. They were a group of four people. All four of them were bulky and had a heavy build with battle scars.

"Kid, we haven't found any corrupted beasts so far. Why don't you show us your storage ring?"

"We will let you leave after checking it," the blue-haired middle-aged man said.

He seemed to be the leader of the group. Jeremy discovered that they were Tier-4 Beast Tamers. He could easily handle them; it's just that he didn't want to take a human life.

Tremor!

Suddenly, the ground beneath them started to shake, catching them off guard. Only Jeremy's eyes flashed with fear, while the other four were clueless.

In the next second, Jeremy used "Explosion Steps" to bolt away from the spot.

The four middle-aged men were confused. They didn't know what was going on. When they saw that the kid was fleeing, they became enraged.

The ground beneath them suddenly collapsed. The next second, the four Beast Tamers dropped into the hole. But it was not a hole; it was the mouth of the worm beast.

The Tier-5 worm beast completely swallowed the four Beast Tamers. Then it sensed that the main prey was running away, the smell still lingering in the air.

The Tier-4 worm detected the scent, disappeared into the ground the next second, and started following the main prey through underground.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy was fleeing at full speed. His heart was screaming at him. He didn't know how the Tier-5 Corrupted Beast had found him. Not only had it crossed its territory, but it was also chasing him down.

He thinks that the intelligence of the Tier-5 Corrupted Beast was higher than that of the Tier-4 Beasts. The Tier-5 Beast could think and command Tier-4 and below beasts.

He could only go back to the City Gate. The City Guard Captain was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer. He could handle the Tier-5 worm beast.

After making the decision, he increased his speed.

Time passed.

After an hour of non-stop fast running, he saw the outline of the City Gate. But he still didn't stop running when he exited the outer part of the wilderness.

He was seen by the Mercenary Team. The Beast Tamers looked at each other.

"It's him. Let's go and catch him before he reaches the City Gate," the middle-aged man with a thick beard said.

Swoosh!

Everyone began to chase down Jeremy Night.

At the same time, the Tier-5 worm beast was correctly following the trails. It wouldn't be long before it reached the City Gate.

Jeremy was getting tired while running. He could feel that the group of Beast Tamers was also running behind him. He thought they must have felt something was wrong.

So he tried to run faster.

The Mercenary Team sent by Billy was confused. They didn't know why the kid was running. They were sure that they were not exposed.

But then they had no choice but to give chase so they could capture Jeremy before he reached the gate. But soon the group found out that the kid was not slowing down.

"Damn it!"

"How does this kid run faster?" the thick-bearded middle-aged man complained. They were veterans and had completed many complicated missions.

They didn't want to be outdone by a kid.

Tremor!

Slowly, the tremor was following them from behind. The whole ground started to shake. One or two group members felt it, but they chose to ignore it.

As their attention was on the fleeing kid.

After a few minutes,

Jeremy got closer to the City Gate. His tense muscles relaxed, but he still didn't stop. He decided to run until he reached the gate.

He could see that many Beast Tamer teams were coming from different directions. There was also a group coming out of the City Gate to enter the wilderness.

Jeremy knew that if a Tier-5 worm beast appeared here suddenly, it would kill everyone. He chose to warn the City Guard and their Captain.

He didn't know whether the same thick-browed middle-aged man was there.

"Hey, Jeremy Night!"

"Stop right there!"

Suddenly, he heard someone calling him out. When he turned around, he saw five middle-aged Beast Tamers running towards him.

Jeremy's eyes fell on them for a moment before he saw the shaking gravel under their feet. His pupils shrank. The next second, he turned to flee.

The Mercenary Team had been pleased a second ago, but seeing the kid start to flee, they became enraged.

"I'm going to skin that kid alive, Tier-1 ant," the thick-bearded middle-aged man spat out.

The four members of his team were angry as well. They couldn't wait to capture and torture that kid.

Boom!

The next second, the ground split open beneath them. The Tier-5 worm beast emerged, effortlessly swallowing the five Beast Tamers who were hindering its way towards the main prey.

This happened within seconds. The Mercenary Team didn't know what happened; they were all crushed by the blade-like teeth of the worm beast.

The appearance of the Tier-5 worm beast was so sudden that it caught the other Beast Tamers on the ground by surprise, especially since there were only a few hundred meters between the beast and the City Gate.
