The creature overpowered his familiars and continued its way toward him.

Having lost the initial momentum, the creature punched Jay with less power. As he calculated, Jay stopped the creature with both hands.

"Melissa."

Melissa nodded and drew a star on the floor. "Activate!"

The star symbol shone before releasing a chain that circled around the creature’s neck and pulled it down.

Jay then stomped the creature, planting it to the ground. Even if it didn’t kill the creature, it would still buy them some time to regroup.

"Let’s—!" Before they could take another step, it was time for the second wave of attack.

The entire wall was blasted open, revealing several people.
