Chapter 630: Trauma
"Ahhhh!" A massive amount of ena burst out of Evelyn’s body.
"!!!" Not only the sharp-teeth guy, but even other people couldn’t help but feel Evelyn’s strength.
They all looked up, noticing that the barrier they had placed before was actually disrupted.
"The space element is… back? Not for long, but it’s usable." Ilya noticed the fluctuation of the space element. At this rate, they could slip away from this place as long as they used every bit of their strength.
"What are you?!" The sharp-teeth guy looked stunned. "There’s no way a summoner of your level will be able to affect the barrier to this extent. What exactly are you?"
Panicked, he leaped toward Evelyn once more, trying to stop her.
"I don’t care." Evelyn waved her hand, creating a portal right in front of him.
The guy harrumphed. Even if it was a portal, there was no way Evelyn could do anything to him. He just had to go around it and everything would be fine.
No. If he made a feint such as going for the portal first before dodging at the last moment, it would startle her and create an opportunity to attack.
That was why he continued onward, ready to loop around the portal at the last moment.
However, even if he didn’t, there would be no change in the outcome.
Both Evelyn and Drake activated their gravity.
"!!!" The guy widened his eyes. "What is this? I’m being pulled in? No way. The freaking gravity?!"
He activated all his strength to counter the force of this gravity. In addition, he summoned his familiars at the last moment, but that was when Ilya rammed her entire body to push him into the portal.
"You—!" The guy gritted his teeth. "I will kill…"
Before he could finish those words, his body entered the portal, teleporting him far outside. As a result, his familiars disappeared due to the distance, finally giving Evelyn all the time she needed to catch her breath.
However, the situation didn’t really allow her. The moment she could focus on someone else, she heard Vivian’s scream.
"No. Don’t leave me!" Vivian was crying. There was a high elf in her arms with everything under her stomach gone.
"!!!" Evelyn gritted her teeth. She saw a muscular man with a massive sword approaching Vivian. On the other hand, Bella was struggling to get up with her body covered in wounds.
There was no need to hesitate. Bella and Vivian were the closest people to her in this banquet, so they would always be prioritized compared to others.
She leaped toward the big guy without making a sound.
"I know you’re coming. You’re too young to sneak attack me!" The big guy spun his body while waving his massive blade.
Evelyn wasn’t scared. She sped up as though she were challenging him.
"Die!"
Right at the last moment, Evelyn activated the new space element, teleporting herself right behind him.
"Space?" The guy gritted his teeth. He had never heard anyone could use the space element to this degree, especially with the barrier. "So, you’re the one causing the disruption!"
Evelyn’s eyes turned bloodshot as he punched him in the back.
Gravity Fist.
The impact pushed the guy away, but her own fist felt like it was about to break just from punching this guy.
"Hahaha. You can’t do anything to—!" The big guy suddenly got pulled by an invisible force as the portal swallowed him, teleporting him away.
"You talked too much, just like that psychopath." Evelyn snorted. She hurriedly turned around, checking on them.
She realized that the high elf on Vivian’s side was actually Vivian’s lifebound familiar.
"Vivian, Bella. I know you guys are having a hard time, but we can’t let this go on. We have to escape. Gather as many people as possible and I will use all my remaining ena to teleport all of us out of this place. No matter what, we have to survive."
Vivian was overwhelmed with grief while Bella covered the deep wound on her stomach with her hand.
She came to Vivian while saying, "Don’t worry, Evelyn. I will bring her with me. It’s impossible to save everyone in this situation. A lot of them are already dead. I don’t know how many students left, but we should just gather the people around us and escape."
Ilya came to them with Drake, confirming Bella’s choice. "Yeah. Gather as many people as possible before teleporting out. Someone is repairing the barrier from the anomaly, so we don’t have a lot of time left.
"I will use my power to give you as much time as possible, but we have 2 minutes at most, not counting those people and creatures who are still targeting us. Hurry!"

Even Evelyn understood this responsibility. If she chose to save everyone, no one would survive since the enemies wouldn’t allow them to escape.
Just with a quick glance, she knew at last 40% of them had died.
They needed to use the chaos to move around, rescuing as many people as possible. And they could only afford a sneak attack since the opponents were stronger than them.
Evelyn nodded. "All right. We will meet—!"
Before she gave the rendezvous point, another familiar scream echoed in their ears. It was so loud that even with all the ruckuses around, they could still hear it.
It was Melissa’s scream.
…
"Ha… Ha… Are you alright, Melissa?"
Melissa bit her lips, enduring the pain all over her body. She suffered two severe injuries in her right leg and her forehead.
In fact, she lost consciousness for a second there.
However, when she raised her head, her face turned pale.
"Jay…" She tried to lift her shaking hand, not believing what she was seeing.
Jay was still smiling like usual. "I’m glad. You seem to be alright."
Tears were streaming down her face as that smile might be the most terrifying thing she could see at this moment.
"No… Jay…" Her voice was shaking. As her hand reached his cheek, the threads that had wrapped around his entire body tightened, dismembering her man right in front of her eyes.
"Ha… Ha…" Melissa’s body was shivering, her mouth wanting to say something, but her lips keep trembling. The only thing she could do was scream.
"NOOOOOOOO!"@@novelbin@@
