Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 677: Found You!

A laid-back young man casually strolled on the street with fifty people following him.

"Qill. How are we going to handle this?" Another man approached the young man, asking with an unsure tone.

"We don’t need to do a lot of things. All we need to find is the culprit. As long as we encounter it, that’s enough." Qill shrugged. "I just want to finish this up and play around with my kitties."

"Please be serious about it."

"You’re too loud. Do you want to die?" Qill looked annoyed.

The man shut up with cold sweat drenching his back.

Qill snorted and pointed forward. "Do you think I’m doing something without thinking?"

There were two people who hurriedly returned to their side.

"Little boss. We’ve asked around. Most people don’t know what’s going on, but there are some people who believe they’re hearing something like ’Thief’ echoing around the area multiple times in the past few days."

"Thief?" Qill raised his eyebrows before turning around. "Is there someone bold enough to steal from us?"

The man shook his head. "There should be none. However, if we’re talking about thieves… I can’t help but think about those kids." Enjoy exclusive adventures from NovelBin.Côm

"Kids?"

"Yes. I’m talking about the kids living on the west side of the slum. They’re children who form a group and steal from a lot of people to survive."

"Heh?" Qill grinned. "Then let’s head that way. You two. Good work on finding out the situation. Tell the boss about your finding along with the suspicion. I will go there to confirm it."

"Y-Yes." The two guys nodded their heads and continued onward.

Meanwhile, Qill didn’t actually go straight toward the children. Instead, he looked at the man behind him and said, "You… get stolen!"

"W-What?"

"Act as if those kids stole from you," Qill harrumphed. "Even if we go to those children’s homes, we might end up falling into a trap. Instead of going there right away, we should check whoever does this by following those kids. So, you need to be the bait.

"The kids must be bringing you somewhere. And that will be the place where we will find the culprit."

"…" The man looked troubled.

"What? Are you not going to do it?"

The man clenched his fists. He had no other choice. The young man in front of him was a summoner, so he could only follow his words.

"Yes, I understand."

Little did they know, there was a crow chilling on the rooftop, observing them the whole time.

Once they started making their preparations, the crow flew back to its owner.

"I see. They’re trying to get us. Well, Flora and I can somehow defeat them if there is only one summoner. However, it’s better if I take this on." Nathan squinted his eyes. "Our method is much better to kill a lot of people after all."

"Agreed. Should I turn some of them into ashes?" Jinwu nodded.

"Yep. I have a plan. Pass it to everyone. I will tell the kid to find their bait and lure them here. We’ll kill them there. How about their summoner’s strength?"

"Far weaker than you. I’m assuming he should be able to kill a few juvenile class aliens himself, but my instinct is telling me he is still weaker compared to a juvenile class mutant. Though, there’s also skill, experience, and other things to take into account."

"Well, it won’t be that much different. Although this guy is smart, he is a bit too arrogant. There’s a chance to exploit." Nathan smirked.

"Sure. In that case, I’ll tell Flora about it."

"Tell Iris too. It might be too much for the kid, so we might have to change our kid earlier. Besides, we have taken down close to 400 people, so we might have to speed up our plan."

Jinwu nodded before taking off to the sky.

While Qill and his men were approaching, the kid on Nathan’s side had been informed about the bait.

This might be the most important moment during the entire job, considering one wrong move might kill him.

However, Nathan had assured him that the summoner wouldn’t do something yet. As long as he followed Nathan’s direction, everything would be fine.

Although he was a bit hesitant, he still went for the guy.

"You little thief! Get back here!"

Once they heard him shouting, Qill immediately waved his hand. "Let’s go. We’ll follow them and find out about the culprit."

Qill amplified his physical ability with ena and immediately chased after the guy from a distance. He couldn’t afford for the enemy to find out about him anyway.

With the guy shouting again and again, he could keep track of his movement.

"Thief…" The guy shouted once more while thinking, ’Come on. Where is the culprit? Just let me find him and run away.’

This time, Nathan didn’t show himself in the middle of the street like usual. Instead, he let the kid make the last turn on that long street.

’I can finally catch up.’ The guy muttered inwardly. Just like other people, he almost caught up to the kid. The only reason he hadn’t been was that he had to follow him as long as possible without raising the kid’s suspicion.

And finally, there was only a bit more distance left between them after sprinting on the long road. Once the kid turned, his feet slid on the ground, shifting his momentum.

"!!!"

That was when he actually found Nathan.

Nathan had been waiting for him right behind the wall while the kid immediately hid between two buildings.

"Y—!" The guy wanted to alert the people, but Nathan had already sealed his mouth and destroyed his throat while emerging from the corner.

Obviously, with such a long street, Qill couldn’t help but catch up, resulting in him seeing Nathan kill the guy.

Nathan glanced to the side and took a step back as if he was startled to find another person seeing his action.

"I have found you!" Qill grinned as the ena burst out of his body as though he was going to fight.

Meanwhile, Nathan raised his right hand, forming a huge sphere.
