Super Gene Ⅱ: Evolution

Chapter 753 The Invading Ultra-Burning Corps

General Bael led the Ultra-Burning Corps in a mad dash to Tiancheng as mentioned in the intelligence reports and saw the Townland Hall behind it.

"Their level of technology is just too backward; they don't even have a decent building. This is supposed to be the top architecture of the human home planet, but it's far too inferior compared to the buildings on our Ultra-Burning Star," Auston said, floating in the air, looking down at the Townland Hall on the ground with disdain.

"How can human architecture even compare with our great Ultra-Burn Tribe's buildings? Many of our structures can defend against Nirvana Level powers. What sort of trash is this..." Jerry said as he released his Life Base, swinging his axe and instantly cleaving a huge crack into the Townland Hall, almost splitting it in half.

"Something's not right. Wasn't it said that the strongest family of the human home planet, the Wei Family, was guarding Tiancheng? How come there's not a single person here?" Karo said with a frown.

"The Wei Family? They're just a small family with a few Nirvana Beings, nothing but farts on our Ultra-Burning Star. They probably ran away long ago after hearing we were coming," Jerry said with scorn.

"You make sense. Humans are indeed too weak. Along the way, all the human bases we've encountered are pure garbage. This so-called Wei Family is just slightly better garbage..." Auston laughed as well.

On their way here, Auston's casual attacks had nearly destroyed all the bases they encountered, killing who knows how many people, with absolutely no human being able to resist their offhand strikes.

Among humans on their home planet, Nirvana Beings are basically invincible.

"But according to what those humans said, the Wei Family has been guarding the underground space for more than two hundred years, none of them retreated even though only a dozen or so remained alive. How could they just flee without a fight?" Karo still felt something was amiss.

"That's because they know we are the real powerhouses. If they stayed here, they would be annihilated, not one would survive," Jerry said with a sneer.

General Bael interrupted them and commanded, "Have the Vanguard Troops go down and check; show no mercy to any human encountered. Head to the underground space as quickly as possible; we cannot afford to lose the spaceship."

"There's no need for such trouble." Auston summoned his Life Base; the Life Base crisscrossed through the air, and in a moment, the Townland Hall and Tiancheng, which had stood for hundreds of years, were reduced to rubble.

"I told you, not a single person, they all ran away," Auston said with a smile.

"Enter the underground world," Bael ordered without hesitation, guiding his people toward the underground space through the exposed hole.

They had already known that flying was forbidden in the underground space and brought ropes. The Vanguard Troops descended into the underground space along the ropes.

All this intelligence had been obtained from the mouths of humans who had previously stationed in Tiancheng, for which they had made all the necessary preparations. Explore stories at My Virtual Library Empire

"General Bael... we've found it... we've discovered that spaceship... right below the entrance..." a Vanguard Troop rushed back to report, his face full of surprise and joy.

"Karo... you stay outside... everyone else follow me down..." General Bael's face showed delight; he was finally going to see the legendary Constellation-class Warship.

"General, why not let me go?" Karo suggested.

"This is of great importance; I must go and verify it myself. Guard this place well, don't let the humans take advantage," General Bael patted Karo's shoulder and then led his men into the underground space.

Ropes descended from the sky, and when Bell and his companions slid down into the underground space, they were immediately shocked by the scene before them.

"Humanity's home planet is so small, yet it has such a huge underground space, which is quite peculiar. Isn't this planet just an empty shell?" Auston couldn't help but exclaim.

"Warship... it truly is... a Constellation-class warship..." Bell, however, had no interest in the underground space. His gaze scanned around and landed on the spacecraft severed in two in the river.

The warship wasn't particularly large; it was even much smaller than the average civilian planet-class spaceship. But the class of a warship was not determined by its size.

One look at the cross-section of the broken spacecraft's material was enough to know it was undoubtedly a Constellation-class warship.

The main material used for Constellation-class warships is crafted from Immortal Level materials combined with other auxiliary materials. The strength is so high it is incomparable to regular spacecraft.

Bell had seen similar Constellation-class warships when he was studying at the Supreme Academy and had even had the fortune to enter and tour the inside of one. He was almost certain that this was a Constellation-class warship; the material didn't lie.

What alarmed him was his inability to imagine what this Constellation-class warship had encountered to have been split in half.

Moreover, the break was smooth as if sliced by a blade, not like it had suffered an impact or accident. Instead, it seemed as if it had been cleaved in two by someone.

"There probably aren't any survivors inside or it wouldn't have been here for over two hundred years," General Bell ordered the Vanguard Troops to enter the spacecraft with their instruments through the gap.

But when the Ultra-Burn Warriors from the Vanguard Troops contacted the blue liquid, even through their Carapace, their bodies transformed rapidly.

Soon after entering the spacecraft, the Ultra-Burn Warriors began to undergo Base Mutation, and in a very short time, their flesh and blood bodies turned entirely to crystal or metal.

At the same time, they also lost their humanity, attacking their comrades right next to them. The situation quickly became extremely brutal, as the Ultra-Burn Warriors inside began to slaughter each other, fighting desperately as if they had no desire to live.

"There's a problem with that blue liquid. It causes rapid Base Mutation..." An Ultra-Burn Warrior, not yet fully transformed, stumbled out and spoke. As he did, his body underwent violent Base Mutation, and quickly lost his senses as he lunged at a nearby Ultra-Burn Warrior.

Auston drew his sword and chopped off the mutated Ultra-Burn Warrior's head with grim resolve, turning to the other Ultra-Burn Warriors and shouting, "Do not touch that blue liquid."

"Set up camp by the river," Bell said, his expression also grim. He turned to leave, "It seems we can't fully explore the warship quickly. Let's deal with the humans first, and capture some to send them in to scout the way."

Just as the group was preparing to climb out using the ropes, they saw a series of purple Blade Qi slash across the sky, severing the ropes.

The Ultra-Burning Corps members' expressions changed slightly as they turned to look. Not far away, atop a huge pillar, several humans leapt down, the leader tall and robust, donning heavy Purple Armor but draped in a White Robe.

The White Robe fluttered in the air, and the purple aura around the man surged like volcanic eruption, unimaginably majestic.

Behind him, twelve Nirvana Beings in full Purple Armor, wielding long swords layered with purple Qi, leapt down from the air and unleashed waves of purple Phoenix Blade Qi towards the Ultra-Burning Corps.
