Chapter 957: Chapter 957 Mutant Demon

After a moment of trembling, the Aberrant Source suddenly began to proliferate rapidly like growing plants, with black liquid gushing out from inside, surging like spring water, making the Aberrant Source grow larger and larger.

Lin Shen subconsciously threw the thing on the ground, watching the black liquid surge on the ground, and after a moment, the black liquid actually transformed into the shape of a large pair of scissors, then gradually solidified.

The Law Array was infused into the Pig Dragon Scissors, and a hint of black light immediately emanated from the Pig Dragon Scissors, with the serrated blades vibrating on their own.

“It actually works!” Lin Shen was overjoyed, the activated Pig Dragon Scissors felt much lighter to the touch, and swinging them became much easier for Lin Shen.

With a thought from Lin Shen, the Pig Dragon Scissors rapidly morphed back into the shape of the Aberrant Source and landed in the palm of his hand.

Lin Shen hurriedly took out a few other Aberrant Sources, wanting to try if they could turn into Aberrant Divine Artifacts.

However, no matter what he tried, these Aberrant Sources showed no reaction, it seems not all Aberrant Sources can turn into Aberrant Divine Artifacts.

Lin Shen put away the Aberrant Sources and continued walking forward. Since there were corpses of Pig Dragons, it meant he was going in the right direction, Duo and the others should have come this way.

The path they had taken should be safe for the time being.

Before he left, Lin Shen collected some Aberrant Liquid from the Pig Dragons as food for himself and the four Little Tigers.

The caves within the Neutron Star were intricate and connected, leaving Lin Shen very puzzled; under such gravity conditions, it was hard to understand how such caves could form.

Lin Shen tried using the Pig Dragon Scissors to cut open the head of a Deformed Species. After activating Strangle, there was a crisp snap, and the neck of the Deformed Species was cleanly severed.

With the Pig Dragon Scissors, Lin Shen no longer worried about being unable to kill these Deformed Species. As long as he could penetrate their defenses, his techniques would be of use.

Lin Shen took the opportunity to glance at his Attribute, only to discover that his Strength Attribute had increased again, now reaching 10,298 points—a gain of over two hundred points out of the blue.

After some research, Lin Shen realized that as the weight of Death Powder grew, his Strength also increased.

Just as Lin Shen was considering whether to turn back and try a different direction, he suddenly saw a blur of purple pounce down from above.

Lin Shen immediately spotted a Bare-Skinned Monkey that, after plummeting from the sky, reached out with its claws toward one of the Little Tigers.

The Little Tiger growled and swiped its claws, but it was not as fast or as strong as the Bare-Skinned Monkey. When caught by the monkey’s claws, it was almost lifted off the ground.

The special Little Tiger suddenly lunged, biting the leg of the Bare-Skinned Monkey, holding on tenaciously without letting go.

Death Powder also wrapped itself around, entangling the Bare-Skinned Monkey’s body. Lin Shen’s hands had summoned forth the Inheritance Fan at some point, and he furiously fanned the monkey several times, greatly reducing its strength and speed, causing it to fall from the sky.

Lin Shen dropped the Folding Fan and grabbed the Pig Dragon Scissors with both hands. Aiming for the monkey’s neck, he snipped, activating Strangle and severing the monkey’s neck in one go.

“Killed an Immortal Deformed Species—Mutant Demon… Aberrant Source detected…” The watch’s information promptly resonated.

“These Deformed Species aren’t that hard to deal with after all. As long as my Strength is sufficient, even without the Pig Dragon Scissors, I should be able to kill them with the Scrap Sword using Scrap Sword Skill,” Lin Shen realized that aside from possessing great strength, speed, and bodily resilience, these Deformed Species’ combat abilities and skills were far inferior to those of Immortals.

In terms of skills and capabilities, Lin Shen was still much stronger than them, but unfortunately, he was not quite a match for them in terms of Strength and bodily toughness.

Lin Shen led the Little Tigers back some distance from the corpse of the Mutant Demon and then stopped to rest.

Unable to find traces of Duo and the others now, Lin Shen’s previous plans were void, and he had to come up with other arrangements.

Having walked for so long, he himself didn’t feel tired, but the four Little Tigers were exhausted. The special Little Tiger was slightly better off, simply sitting there watching Lin Shen, while the others were already so tired they lay panting with tongues lolling out.

Death Powder seemed tired too, extending its head over to burrow into Lin Shen’s pocket.

Lin Shen instantly understood its intent and presented an Aberrant Source to it.

Without hesitation, Death Powder swallowed a few Aberrant Sources, its form slowly climbing onto Lin Shen, coiling around his body.

Free from Death Powder’s entanglement, none of the four Little Tigers ran away, simply resting beside Lin Shen.

Lin Shen gave them some Deformed Liquid to drink, replenishing their expended energy.

Atop the cave, a pair of eyes shimmering with purple light stared intently at Lin Shen and the four Little Tigers resting below.

It was a Mutant Demon, but its eyes resembled Amethyst, and its body bore many bright purple patterns, slightly different from ordinary Mutant Demons.
