Chapter Title: I didn't sign up for This!
Kent carefully extracted the soul of the God of Mischief from the deteriorating golden pearl and transferred it into his soul space.
"Finally!" The deity let out a sigh of immense relief.
"I felt like I was trapped in a mortuary! Do you have any idea how dreadful I felt? A refined being like me deserves better!" the God of Mischief exclaimed, stretching his soul form dramatically.
Kent rolled his eyes. "You're lucky I didn't crush that pearl. Don't get too comfortable." Kent said in a mocking tone.
"Oh, come on, tiny mortal. You'll thank me soon enough. I'll bring excitement and—wait, what's that?" The God of Mischief froze, his gaze locking onto the serene figure of the Goddess of Lust.
The goddess was meditating gracefully in the corner of Kent's soul space. Her form radiated a soft, enchanting glow, her eyes closed, and her delicate hands rested on her knees in perfect balance.
"How beautiful…! By the heavens, who is she?" The God of Mischief stammered, his jaw dropping.
"That's the Goddess of Lust. Go ahead. Introduce yourself." Kent replied while controlling his laughter.
"Oh, I will!" the God of Mischief exclaimed, smoothing his soul form as if grooming himself. He floated over, his grin stretching from ear to ear.
"Lucky lady! Today must be your most fortunate day! Allow me to introduce myself. I am the legendary God of Mischief, the bringer of Pleasure, and… well, let's just say you'll adore me."
The Lust goddess opened her eyes and stared with her icy gaze. She remained silent.
"Ah, playing hard to get, are we?" the God of Mischief continued confidently.
"It's understandable. I am, after all, a cut above your usual company. How about we form an alliance? Together, we could—"
Before he could finish, the Goddess of Lust stood abruptly. Without a word, she raised her hand, forming a glowing seal.
'SLAP!'
A deafening slap reverberated through the soul space, sending the God of Mischief spiralling backward.
"W-What was that for?! Lady, take a good look at me. We both…" he sputtered, rubbing his transparent cheek.
The goddess didn't respond. Instead, she unleashed a flurry of punches, each strike landing with precision. The God of Mischief soul spirit which is weakened and defenceless could only yelp and cry.
"Stop! Mercy! You're too violent for a lady of your calibre!" he cried, dodging another punch.
But the punches intensified.
"Tiny human! Call her off! You can't let her treat me like this!" The God of Mischief yelled toward Kent.
Kent chuckled with a smug face. "You're on your own, Mischief. Maybe next time, think before you speak."
The goddess finally relented, her gaze sharp and unyielding. "If you speak to me again, I'll do worse," she warned, her voice cold as frost. She returned to her meditation without sparing him another glance.
The God of Mischief floated to a distant corner, sulking. "I didn't sign up for this," he muttered.
"You did," Kent corrected with a grin, sealing his soul space.
Just as closed the soul space, kent heard the loud cry of dragon, calling for help.
The loud cry of Jabil came next, snapping Kent back to reality.
"That's Jabil!" he muttered, leaping onto his Golden Throne and soaring toward the sound.

The sight that greeted him made his heart clench. His loyal pets—Jabil, the Kavi, and Ruby lay collapsed on the ground with green skin.
The ground around them was infested with blood-sucking worm* and poisonous weeds, injecting more venom into their fallen bodies.
"God… why did you touch these weeds?" Kent uttered, rushing to Jabil's side. He placed golden needles on their bodies and began casting healing aura.
"You're going to be okay. Just breathe!." He said while intensifying the healing aura.
The baby dragon, who had been hovering nearby, chirped desperately, flapping its wings to get Kent's attention.
"Not now!" Kent snapped, pushing it away in anger.
The dragon felt disappointed but stayed close, clutching a crescent-shaped relic in its mouth.
Kent poured his energy into his pets, the green hue slowly receding from their bodies. When Jabil opened his eyes and let out a soft growl, Kent exhaled a shaky breath.
"I should have warned them before leaving. Take these fruits and rest inside the spirit ring." Kent said while giving them spirit fruits.
The baby dragon chirped again, nudging Kent's shoulder.
"Fine, what is it?" Kent asked, turning to the creature.
The dragon dropped the relic at Kent's feet, its rusted golden surface glinting faintly.
"What's this?" Kent examined it closed and tried to read the ancient carving on its surface.
The God of Mischief gasped. "That's… that's a God-Slaying Relic!"
Kent's eyes widened. "A what?"
"A weapon capable of killing gods! But it's broken. Only half remains… but even that much is good enough to kill a new god." the god of mischief exclaimed.
Kent studied the relic, his expression grim. "Where did you find this?"
The dragon chirped softly, nudging his hand.
"Good job, little one. You are more intelligent than Jabil. Sorry for snapping earlier." Kent said while caressing its skin.
The dragon excitedly opened its mouth, demanding a great reward.
He stored the relic and gave a large size thousand year old wild pumpkin to the dragon which swallowed it in one gulp.
"Let's Go… Nothing good left here. It's better to end the war now and save time for ourselves." Kent said as he stepped on the golden throne. The baby dragon followed with an excited smile.
Kent emerged from the war ground through the same broken wall. The chaos outside was as he had expected. The Stick and Doom families were locked in a brutal battle, their armies blocking the doors for everyone.
He spotted his Frost family army, standing at the last. Without waiting he rushed towards the 20,000 supreme wizards.
The sight of their leader brought a roar of excitement from the troops. This sudden change of excitement brought everyone's attention.
All the eyes turned towards Kent. The spectators rushed towards the gambling house. The royal family stared at Kent with serious faces. Every single of them had a different opinion on Kent now.
Simon, the son of 9 realms association leaned forward as this is his first time seeing Kent after the war at War God inheritance ground.
Kent raised his hand, silencing the cheers. His voice rang out, firm and commanding. "Frost Army, prepare for the Needle Formation! Let's break the gate."
"Ahuuu…" Loud cry came in response as 20,000 soldiers lifted their weapons with fearless cry.
