Chapter 711: Did gods stopped producing Children?
"Stop This now!"
"Yes, stop it. We won't approve this."
"Kick this lady out again."
"Yes… kick her out."
'Kick her out… kick her out… kick her out…"
Loud slogans followed from women groups.
The Milk Sea gathering had turned from a majestic coronation to a heated arena of grievances. The air crackled with tension as groups of women from different races of gods began voicing their complaints.
Their faces were painted with righteous anger, and their voices rose like thunder over the serene music that had once graced the ceremony.
Lady Sarvina, the wife of the Space God, stepped forward first. Her golden hair shimmered as she pointed an accusatory finger at the Lust Goddess, who stood composed yet silent on the platform.
"How can we allow her to return?" Sarvina exclaimed. "Have you all forgotten the chaos she caused centuries ago? The affairs, the betrayals, the broken families—my own husband was ensnared by her spell!"
The crowd murmured in agreement. Another goddess, draped in robes of flames, nodded vehemently. "My husband, the Fire God, was no different. Her mere presence sent him into a frenzy of desire, and he abandoned his duties for decades to pursue foolish whims!"
A beast goddess with silver fur stepped forward, growling low. "The Lust Goddess doesn't just influence men. Even my kind suffered. Pack hierarchies were disrupted; alpha males fought senselessly over her illusions! The chaos spread not just among gods but among mortals and spirits!"
An elven goddess joined in, her emerald eyes blazing. "Her very aura corrupts the fabric of our society. She thrives on chaos and seduction, poisoning the minds of even the purest beings. We cannot allow her return. The Spirit World is finally at peace without her influence!"
As the complaints continued, more women stepped forward, each adding fuel to the fire.
"My son was seduced into abandoning his duties!"
"My temple was desecrated because of her!"
"She caused wars among mortals, leading to untold suffering!"
The accusations poured out like an unstoppable torrent. The women, representing every race of gods—beast spirits, flame-bearers, storm heralds, and even celestial musicians—were united in their anger. Their voices overlapped, creating a cacophony of complaints that drowned out any attempts to restore order.
Some women went further, recalling illicit incidents from centuries ago. "Do you remember when the Ocean God left his entire realm unguarded for months because of a lady?"
"What about the time the wind God declared war on the Mountain Clan just to win a lady favor?"
"She turned our world into a theater of scandals and debauchery!"
The War God, who had been silently listening, finally raised his hand, his booming voice silencing the gathering.
"Enough!" he roared, his eyes blazing with divine fury. "I understand your grievances, but you must look beyond the past. This is not about chaos or scandal. This is about balance!"
The women fell silent, though their glares remained fixed on him. The War God took a deep breath and continued. "The Spirit World has been without its full set of gods for centuries.
Without the Lust Goddess, we have lost an essential aspect of balance. Lust is not just chaos—it is creation, passion, and life itself. Without her, our world has stagnated."
Lady Sarvina scoffed. "Stagnated? We have flourished in her absence! There is no need for her return."
The War God slammed his spear into the ground, sending a shockwave that rattled the crescent platform.
"You are blind to the truth! Look around you. How many of your kind have truly thrived? How many gods have grown weak, their powers dulled by the lack of passion and purpose? Even the mortal realms suffer. Creation is at a standstill without her influence."
Another goddess stepped forward, her voice trembling with anger. "And what of the havoc she will bring once she returns? Will we see our husbands turn into lust-driven fools again? Will our sons and daughters be corrupted by her aura? You speak of balance, but all she brings is destruction!"
The War God's eyes narrowed. "You speak as if she is a mindless force of chaos. She is a goddess, like all of us, with her role to play. Her absence has not removed lust from the Spirit World; it has only twisted it into something darker and uncontrolled."
The murmurs continued, and the tension in the air grew thicker. The women were not convinced, their collective will as strong as the War God's arguments.
Amidst the chaos, a voice rang out—calm yet commanding. "Stop your dirty drama."
All eyes turned to Kent, who stood tall and resolute, his gaze sweeping over the assembly. His voice carried an authority that silenced even the most fervent objections.
"You blame the Lust Goddess for everything that went wrong in your lives. But have you ever stopped to question your own weaknesses?"
The crowd murmured, but no one dared to interrupt him. Kent continued, his voice steady. "Lust exists in all of us. It is not something she imposes; it is a part of life, a part of creation. Without it, there would be no gods, no mortals, no life. You stand here, pointing fingers, but how many of you can claim to have lived without desire?"
Lady Sarvina stepped forward, her eyes blazing. "You dare lecture us? You are but a mortal—"
Kent cut her off, his voice sharp. "And yet, here I stand, chosen by the gods themselves. You accuse her of causing chaos, but was it not your own lack of control that led to those incidents? She did not force anyone to abandon their duties or wage wars. Those were your choices.
Tell me this… were all of you righteous in all these years? Did any single one of you stop seeing the opposite sex? Were gods stopped producing children? Promise on your dao heart and answer my question. Haven't you ever felt lust and desire in the last decades?" Kent asked in a loud tone with a questioning look.
The women faltered, their confidence shaken. Some tried to counter him, but Kent was relentless.
"You say she corrupts the Spirit World, but tell me, has her absence truly made you better? Or have you simply hidden your flaws behind her banishment?"
The crowd grew silent, the weight of Kent's words settling over them. Many of the women looked down, their anger replaced by uncertainty. The men in the gathering, who had been watching silently, exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of guilt and understanding.
Kent's voice softened. "She is not your enemy. She is a part of this world, just as you are. Rejecting her is rejecting a part of yourself."
The War God stepped forward, his expression one of gratitude. "You have spoken well, Kent. Perhaps now they will see reason."
But just as the tension seemed to dissipate, a new wave of murmurs spread through the crowd. More gods and mortals were arriving, drawn by the news of the gathering and the unfolding drama.
The scene grew even more chaotic as the newly arrived groups tried to piece together what had happened.
The women who had led the protests exchanged uneasy glances. Their unity was fractured, their arguments dismantled by Kent's logic. Yet, some still clung to their beliefs, unwilling to let go of their anger.
As the gathering moved on the brink of order and chaos, all eyes turned to the central platform, waiting to see what would happen next.
