Chapter 233 The Perfect Plan.
Hugo stood frozen amidst the dozens of dancing bodies, his brain struggling to process the disaster unfolding before him.
Lily and Tily.
Both of them.
Here.
At the same party!
The same party he was already struggling to juggle two other girls in.
Hugo felt faint. He wanted to curse and rage, but he didn't have any target other than his own bad luck.
In fact, this wasn't just bad luck.
This was a cosmic level curse!
He must have cucked the gods in a past life!
How else could he explain the fact that three of his potential women were now in the same damn building?
This was a catastrophe waiting to happen!
He could already see the future like a movie tragedy.
Lily sees him. She lights up and then screams his name. Loli and Celine turn to look. Everything explodes into pure chaos.
He wouldn't know what to do and would most probably just run away!
Hugo felt a shiver of terror.
No. No, no, no, no, NO.
He refused to go down like that. Without a second thought, Hugo turned on his heels and bolted.
He didn't just walk away this time.
He full-on sprinted.
Like an action movie protagonist dodging a sniper bullet, Hugo weaved through the crowd, avoiding eye contact with anyone who might call out to him.
His heart was pounding.
He had one mission at that moment: Find a hiding spot.
He rushed up the stairs, practically jumping three steps at a time, and burst into the hallway.
He wished he could find Collins and share his problems with him. This situation was too high for his level!
But just as he was about to enter a quiet room to think, he stumbled upon an entirely different scene when he opened a random room.
Inside one of the dimly lit rooms, Collins was locked in a heated makeout session with a stunning Asian beauty.
Her back was pressed against the wall, Collins' hands were firmly on her waist, and their lips were tangling together like baby koalas.
Hugo blinked.
…This was not what he expected.
For a second, he just stood there, staring at them like an idiot.
Then Collins abruptly turned his head, noticed him, and immediately glared daggers.
"BRO!" Collins shouted. "WHAT THE HELL!?"
Hugo snapped out of his daze.
"Ah, my bad, my bad!" he said, quickly raising his hands in surrender. "I should've knocked!"
Collins scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Damn right, you should've."
Hugo awkwardly scratched the back of his head.
"Look, I wouldn't have interrupted if it wasn't important," he said.
Collins exhaled sharply. "Bro, it can wait."
Hugo immediately shook his head. What could wait?
Loli at the pool?
Or was it Celine at the dance floor?
Or maybe Lily at the door?
"No. No, it cannot."
Collins narrowed his eyes. "Hugo—"
"Didn't you just yell about bro code a few hours ago?" Hugo interrupted, crossing his arms. "Now suddenly you're throwing me to the wolves just because you're busy with a girl?"
Collins groaned. He took deep breaths to calm himself down before turning to Hugo once again.
Based on how panicked his best friend looked, the problem had to be serious...
Still, he had priorities.
Then, after giving his Asian beauty one last deep kiss, he gently pulled away and whispered, "Give me a minute, babe."
She pouted but nodded, adjusting her dress as Collins stepped out of the room and shut the door behind him.
Collins turned to Hugo, arms crossed.
"Alright, what's so urgent that you ruined the best moment of my life?"
Hugo took a deep breath, trying not to roll his eyes at his friend's exaggeration. He needed his help, afterall.
"Lily and Tily just walked in."
Collins' face immediately changed.
From annoyance to full-on seriousness. He was also involved in this. After all, Tily was supposed to be his main chick!
Hugo nodded. "Yeah. Exactly. It's bad."
Collins let out a low whistle. "Damn. That's… unfortunate."
Hugo nodded aggressively. "Unfortunate is an understatement, bro! I already have my hands full with Loli and Celine, and now Lily is here too? This is a nuclear-level disaster!"
Collins rubbed his chin. He ignored the matter about Celine for the moment and focused on the important issue. "So what's the problem exactly? You worried about them meeting?"
Hugo gave him a deadpan look. Why was this guy so chill?
"No, Collins, I'm worried about them forming a damn girl band and singing Kumbaya together."
Collins snorted. "Alright, alright. Don't get sarcastic."
"I'm serious!" Hugo groaned. "If they see me talking to another girl, I'm finished. If Lily and Loli even realize I've been texting both of them, I'm dead. If Loli finds out I was about to dance with Celine, I'm super dead."
Collins nodded slowly. "Yeah, yeah. You're doomed."
"That's what I'm saying!" Hugo cried. "You're also not safe! If Tily finds out you were making out with an Asian beauty, you're dead as well!"
Collins sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. "Alright. Give me a second."@@novelbin@@
Hugo watched in silence as Collins leaned against the wall, arms folded, eyes narrowed—
The classic 'I'm thinking of a master plan' pose.
Then, suddenly, Collins snapped his fingers.
"I got it."
Hugo perked up. "Yeah?"
Collins smirked. "Yeah."
Hugo leaned in closer. "What is it?"
Collins' grin widened.
And then, slowly, he explained his master plan.
Hugo listened carefully.
Every detail.
Every step.
And as Collins finished explaining—
Hugo's eyes lit up.
"Oh my god."
Collins smirked. "I know."
Hugo clapped his hands together. "This is genius."
Collins crossed his arms proudly. "Of course it is."
Hugo shook his head in awe.
This was it.
The perfect plan.
Now, all he had to do was execute it and hoped it worked as smoothly as they hoped.
It had to!
