Hugo sat cross-legged on Loli’s ridiculously soft bed, lazily nibbling on a chocolate bar like a man who had suffered great injustice.

He chewed slowly, staring up at the ceiling as if trying to process the tragic event that had just occurred.

She sauntered forward, arms crossed. "Trying to pull that cheap trick on me? The same trick you probably use on all your other girls?"

Hugo suddenly stretched his arms, yawning loudly as if the conversation was already boring him.

Loli rolled her eyes but seemed amused as she walked over to her dressing table.

She sat down and started her night routine, pulling out a bunch of fancy skincare products and dabbing something on her face.

Hugo leaned forward, squinting. "What is that?"

"Face mask," she replied casually, smoothing it over her cheeks.

Hugo burst out laughing.

Loli frowned. "What?"

"You look—" He wheezed, barely able to contain himself. "You look like a cute little ghost!"

Loli froze, blushed—which was shocking to see since her face was already white—, then narrowed her eyes dangerously. "Oh, you think this is funny?"

Hugo grinned. "Absolutely."

Loli didn’t say a word. She simply stood up, grabbed another face mask from her dresser, and before Hugo could react, she pounced!

It was a lethal art that hypnotized him with the collision of her two ’dantians!’

Hugo barely had time to flail before she was on top of him, pinning him down with surprising strength. "No—Loli—wait—"

"You wanna laugh at me? Fine!" She cackled evilly, smearing the cold, gooey product all over his face. "Let’s see who’s laughing now!"

Hugo shrieked. Yes, shrieked. Like a grown man being attacked by a demon. "Loli! Stop! This is assault! This is war cri—oh GOD, it’s in my hair!"

He couldn’t believe it. One wasn’t allowed to crack a simple joke around this evil witch?

Loli giggled mercilessly, rubbing it into his cheeks. "There! Now we match!"

Hugo gasped dramatically. "You… You’ve turned me into a monster."

Loli sat back, crossing her arms smugly. "That’s what you get."

Hugo groaned, rubbing his face. "You are evil. Pure evil."

She winked. "And don’t you forget it."

Hugo stared at her for a long moment before sighing and shaking his head. "Yeah… I’m definitely in trouble with you."
