Chapter 309: Smooth King!
Hugo strutted toward Sanchez with the confidence of a man who had just successfully conquered the art of socializing.
His steps were smooth, his posture relaxed, and he was mentally hyping himself up, feeling like he was officially in the big leagues.
But the moment he got close enough to see what Sanchez was up to, his brain nearly short-circuited.
Sanchez was in deep conversation with two of the finest women Hugo had ever seen in real life.
And not just regular fine. They were elite-level fine!
Hugo's brain instantly derailed into dangerous territory. He licked his lips greedily.
These women weren't just attractive; they were the kind of attractive that made you question whether you had accidentally walked onto a movie set.
Both of them were Asian, and they had the kind of curvy, perfect bodies that you usually only saw in highly edited Instagram pictures.
Except this was real life. No filters. No special effects. Just pure, natural beauty. Hugo could feel his brain overheating as he tried to process the situation.
'This isn't fair,' he thought dramatically. 'Why did God put all the best features into just two people?'
He felt like he had just unlocked some hidden level of life where only the chosen ones got to interact with women like this.
The first girl had long, sleek black hair, flawless skin, and legs that looked like they went on for miles. She was wearing a tight red dress that hugged her body in all the right places.
The second girl had soft brown hair with blonde streaks, and her outfit; a simple white crop top and denim shorts somehow made her look both effortlessly sexy and intimidating at the same time.
As he got closer, he couldn't stop himself from having even crazier thoughts.
He could already hear the imaginary soundtrack in his head—something smooth, something luxurious, something that made it clear that these were high-class baddies!
Before he could fully compose himself, Sanchez turned to him with a massive grin, throwing an arm around his shoulders.
"Ladies! This right here is the man of the hour! My guy! My brother! The one and only HUGO BIG BRAIN MASTER 3000!"
Hugo physically cringed. Then he shuddered.
Why did he have to say the full username out loud?
And most importantly, how did he find out already?! He had changed it merely an hour ago! That was too scary!
Sanchez wasn't done. "This man right here? Genius. Innovator. Future billionaire. Certified Lover Boy. The man has more game than the NBA playoffs! He walks into a room, and girls just fall for him!"
Hugo sighed deeply, already regretting his life choices. Sanchez was doing too much. It was like he was trying to clear his guilt for taking his chocolate.
The girls were giggling, clearly entertained by the ridiculous introduction, but Hugo knew he had to shut this down before it got worse.
He let out a small chuckle, shaking his head. "Sanchez, man, you gotta chill. You're making it sound like I just walked straight out of a romance novel."
Then he turned to the girls with a smirk. "I promise I don't come with dramatic theme music and slow-motion entrance effects. Unless you want me to."
That did it. The girls burst out laughing, and even Sanchez smirked, realizing that he had been hyping him up a little too much.
He mouthed play it cool before stepping away to let Hugo handle things on his own.
Hugo internally scoffed. Play it cool? Did Sanchez really think he was still some rookie in the game? Please. He had this under control.
He turned back to the girls, his confidence fully restored. "So," he said smoothly, "you two look like you've been having the most interesting conversation in the world. Mind if I join?"
The girl in red smirked. "That depends. Are you interesting enough?"
Hugo raised an eyebrow. "I guess you'll have to find out."
And just like that, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Banter back and forth, smooth remarks, playful teasing, it was like he had unlocked some cheat code.
The girls were laughing, tossing their hair, making flirty eye contact; it was textbook chemistry!
Every time he said something clever, they responded right back with something just as sharp, making the whole interaction feel like a fun game.
And after twenty minutes? He had their names and numbers locked in!
Hehe… he was too good!
As he saved their contacts, he finally understood what Sanchez meant when he said these girls were "freaky" and didn't take things too seriously.
Rin and Rai weren't the type to overthink every little thing. They were fun, bold, and completely unafraid to say whatever was on their minds.
Hugo leaned back in his chair, feeling like the king of smoothness himself. 'Man,' he thought, 'this is proof. I am officially at pro level.'
But just as he was basking in his own success, a deep, booming voice cut through the room.
"ALRIGHT, EVERYONE! WE'RE FILMING IN FIVE!"
Hugo snapped out of his trance and looked over to see who had spoken.
It was one of the tallest, most intimidating dudes he had ever seen—easily 6'9, built like a tank, and carrying the presence of someone who could casually lift a car if he wanted to.
The dude looked like he was in charge, and the entire room shifted the moment he spoke.
And suddenly, Hugo's confidence took a massive hit.
Wait.
This was happening now?
Right now?
His stomach tightened as the realization hit him. This wasn't just some casual hangout anymore—this was the moment.
In five minutes, he was going to be in front of a camera, alongside some of the biggest influencers on the internet. And he only had one shot at making an impression.
He quickly ran through his introduction in his head. Alright, just keep it simple. Say your name, throw in a little joke, make it natural. No stuttering.
No overthinking!
But then, as he glanced across the room, he spotted the one person he hadn't met yet.
The main YouTuber behind this whole event.
The guy who had millions of subscribers. The kind of dude who had been on trending pages more times than he could count.
The kind of influencer who could change someone's entire career just by giving them a shoutout.
And at that moment, Hugo had a new thought.
If I do this right…
If I really make an impression…
One day, that could be me.
His nerves were still there, but now? There was something else, too.
Excitement.
This wasn't just a fun video anymore.
This was his shot at something bigger.
It was game time.
What do you think?
