Chapter 312: Pick Two!
Hugo sat back comfortably on the plush couch, sandwiched between Rin and Rai like a certified king, grinning to himself like he had just unlocked some kind of elite-level achievement in life.
The chaos of the last game had finally died down, but his ego? Oh, his ego was thriving.
He glanced at the camera crew setting up for the next filming session in the distance, then turned his full attention to the two beautiful girls beside him.
"So," he said smoothly, resting an arm casually along the back of the couch, perfectly positioning himself to have both girls close to him.
"You two didn't hesitate when it came to choosing to kiss me back there. Like, not even a second of thought. I gotta ask… why me?"
Rai tilted her head, looking at him with a teasing smirk. "What do you mean why? You're cute."
Rin nodded in agreement, twirling a strand of her hair. "Yeah, and your vibe is just insane."
Hugo blinked. Oh? Ohhh?
His brain immediately went into overdrive.
'So basically… I have officially been acknowledged as top-tier material. High-value male. Certified attractive individual!'
This was amazing news. He had come a long way!
But then his analytical side kicked in. Wait. If I break this down scientifically… this has to be because of my maxed-out Modeling Mastery skill.
He knew it. He knew all those hours of mentally perfecting angles, posture, and subtle smirks in the mirror were paying off.
He was effortlessly attractive!
He flashed them his best half-smirk. "So what you're saying is… my aura is just too much to resist?"
Rai laughed. "Something like that."
Rin shrugged. "I mean, yeah. Pretty much."
Hugo felt like he had just ascended to another level of existence.
Alright. New mission unlocked.
He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice just enough to add a touch of smoothness to his words. "Well… if you both enjoyed it that much, would you mind if we did it again?"
The way he said it was so natural, so smooth, so effortlessly cool that even he had to mentally pat himself on the back.
Rai and Rin exchanged a glance, then—without hesitation—they both shrugged.
"Why not?" Rai said casually.
"Yeah, sure," Rin agreed.
Hugo's brain short-circuited.
'Wait. WAIT. That actually worked? THAT ACTUALLY WORKED?!'
Before he could even process this absolute W, Rai stood up and stretched. "Come on, let's go somewhere more chill."
Rin nodded. "Yeah, let's go."
Hugo barely contained his excitement as he stood up, his mind running wild.
'THIS. IS. THE. DAY. THIS IS THE DAY I HIT LEGENDARY STATUS. IF I KEEP THIS UP, I'M GONNA—'
"YO, HUGO!"
The sudden booming voice of the YouTuber shattered his dreams instantly.
Hugo froze. No. No, no, no, no, no—
"We need you for the next filming! Get over here!"
His entire soul collapsed in on itself.
He clenched his fists, looking up at the ceiling like a tragic anime protagonist. 'BAD TIMING. HORRIBLE TIMING. THE WORST TIMING OF MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE.'
Rin and Rai giggled, patting his shoulder as they walked ahead. "Guess you'll just have to wait, huh?"
Hugo sighed, dragging his feet toward the filming setup. 'This is so painful. This is actual suffering.'
And just like that… his legendary moment was postponed.
…..
Back in the filming room…
The atmosphere in the room was buzzing with anticipation.
After the insanity of the last game, everyone was still feeling the high-energy chaos, but now things were about to get even more interesting.
The YouTuber, still recovering from the sheer madness of Hugo getting kissed by almost every girl in the room, took a deep breath, wiped an imaginary tear from his eye, and clapped his hands together.
"Aight, people," he announced, grinning at the camera like he was about to drop the most legendary plot twist in history.
"You thought that last game was wild? Think again. Now we're about to play Find Your Match—aka, the game that's about to expose some real feelings."
The moment he said that, the room erupted in a mixture of excited cheers, nervous chuckles, and a few loud groans from the guys who had definitely been getting rejected all night.
A couple of the girls exchanged knowing glances, already plotting their next move, while some of the guys were clearly praying they didn't get embarrassed on camera.
The YouTuber smirked. "Alright, here's how this works. One by one, each person will step forward and choose their match.
"If the person you choose also picks you, congrats—you've got yourself a match. If they don't… well, uh… that's tough. But, hey, no shame in the game!"
The moment he finished explaining, someone in the back called out, "Bro, I already know this is about to end in heartbreak for some people."
The room exploded into laughter, and the YouTuber held up his hands. "Hey, I don't make the rules! I just enjoy the chaos."
And just like that, the game began.
One by one, people started stepping forward, choosing their potential matches. Some of them instantly paired up, walking off like they had just won a reality dating show.
Others… well, others weren't so lucky. One guy confidently walked up to a girl, flashed his best smile, and held out his hand—only for her to stare at him like he was asking for her bank password before politely stepping far away and choosing someone else!
It was too cold!
The entire room howled in laughter, while the rejected guy dramatically fell to his knees. "I knew this would happen," he groaned.
As the game continued, more people found their matches, while others stood awkwardly, waiting for their turn. But the tension really started building when it was finally Hugo's turn.
The YouTuber pointed at him. "Alright, Romeo, let's see what you got. You literally broke the system last game, so I need to see how this goes."
The moment Hugo stepped forward, every single girl who had been eyeing him all night immediately straightened up.
Some of them even subtly adjusted their outfits, making sure they looked their absolute best before he made his choice.
Hugo, however, took his time. He crossed his arms, tilted his head, and slowly scanned the room like he was analyzing stock market trends. His mind was already running wild.
'Alright, alright… I got options. A LOT of options. This is basically the dating equivalent of being a rich guy in a car dealership—every single one of them is top-tier.'
The girls were waiting, some biting their lips, others silently hoping he would pick them. A few of the guys, meanwhile, were glaring at him like he had stolen their life savings.
But then…
Hugo smirked. "Actually…" he said, rubbing his chin dramatically, "I think I'll pass."
The entire room went silent.
Someone in the back literally choked on their drink.
The YouTuber stumbled backward, pointing at him like he had just committed a federal crime. "EXCUSE ME?!"
The reactions were priceless. Some of the girls looked shocked, others immediately pouted, and one of the guys threw his hat on the ground in frustration.
"Bro, you're telling me fifteen girls wrote your name last round, and you're saying no?" one of the guys cried out. "What kinda plot twist is this?!"
But Hugo just grinned.
The YouTuber collapsed onto the couch dramatically. "Bro thinks he's the main character."
Laughter filled the room, but before anyone could react further, Hugo took a step forward and raised a hand.
"That being said…" He turned his head slightly and locked eyes with two particular girls.
Rin and Rai.
The moment their names formed in his mind, Hugo's brain immediately started racing.
Wait. WAIT. What if… what if I don't have to choose just one? What if… I take both? This was his ultimate plan!
It was a crazy idea. A wild idea. A legendary idea.
So, naturally, he went for it.
He turned to look at both Rin and Rai, then grinned confidently. "Actually, I do have a choice."
The entire room leaned in, waiting for his decision.
And then, with the most ridiculous amount of confidence, he pointed at both girls. "I choose Rin and Rai."
The room exploded.
People were screaming. The YouTuber fell off the couch. One of the guys threw his shoe. Someone literally yelled, "AIN'T NO WAY!"
The YouTuber grabbed the mic, still laughing hysterically. "Bro… BRO! You can't just pick two—"
But before he could even finish, something even crazier happened.
Rin and Rai both smiled.
And then… they nodded.
"Yeah, we're down," Rai said, smirking.
Rin nodded. "Yeah, why not?"
The screaming in the room reached new levels.
One of the guys collapsed onto the floor in emotional defeat. Another dude started pacing back and forth like he had just seen the biggest betrayal of his life.
"NO. NO. THIS ISN'T FAIR," someone yelled. "HOW DOES HE KEEP WINNING?!"
Meanwhile, Hugo stood there, watching all the reactions with his signature smug grin.
'If I keep this up, I might actually complete the monthly mission tonight!'
What do you think?
