Chapter 81: Chapter 81 Embarrassed

On the second-to-last day of the holiday, Shen Zhaozhao and a few others went to the amusement park they had agreed upon a few days earlier.

Even though it was the last two days of the holiday, the amusement park was still crowded.

After purchasing tickets, everyone followed the crowd inside.

“What do you all want to play?” Sang Youyou, holding a map of the amusement park, asked everyone.

Shen Zhaozhao: “Roller coaster!”

Lu Xu: “Drop tower!”

Xu Siyan: “Haunted house?”

Everyone looked at him in surprise.

He usually looked so bookish, nobody expected him to be that wild.

Xu Siyan’s cheeks turned slightly red under everyone’s gaze, “What’s, what’s wrong?”

Lu Xu slung an arm around his shoulder, “No problem, haunted house it is, we’ll go there in a bit!”

“Yiyi, what do you want to play?” Shen Zhaozhao turned her head and asked Sheng Chuyi.

Sheng Chuyi: “Anything’s fine!”

“Then let’s start with the nearest one.” Sang Youyou said, pointing to the closest attraction on the map, which was the drop tower, and told the group, “Let’s go! We’ll head to the right…”

As it was a popular attraction, there was a long line of people waiting.

As soon as Shen Zhaozhao saw the long queue, she felt a bit reluctant to wait.

“How about we go play something else first?” she quietly suggested to Sheng Chuyi, tugging at his sleeve.

Sheng Chuyi glanced at the queue and nodded.

Shen Zhaozhao went to ask the others, but the other three felt that other attractions would be just as crowded, so they decided to stay and wait in line.

Not minding them, Shen Zhaozhao pulled Sheng Chuyi along and kept walking.

When they passed by the ice cream cart, Shen Zhaozhao’s eyes lit up, “Yiyi, let’s go buy some ice cream!” She said this and let go of Sheng Chuyi’s hand to head over.

However, she had only just taken a few steps when Sheng Chuyi caught her by the collar and pulled her back.

“You can’t eat that!”

“Why not?”

Watching the line at the ice cream cart grow longer, Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help but feel anxious.

Sheng Chuyi reminded her, “Have you forgotten about your own body?”

Instinctively, Shen Zhaozhao threw back her shoulders and declared, “I’m in great shape!”

“Is that so?” Sheng Chuyi gave her a cool sideways glance, and said coolly, “Then who was it that had stomach pains and lay at home for three days?”

On the second day of the holiday, while working on her homework, Shen Zhaozhao suddenly felt stomach pain.

Thinking she had eaten something bad, she went to the bathroom only to discover blood on her pants.

Stunned for a moment, Shen Zhaozhao then realized she had gotten her period for the first time.

It was her first menstrual experience, and Shen Zhaozhao was completely inexperienced.

Neither Qin Suxin nor Shu Ran were at home.

She had no idea what to do.

Staying in the restroom by herself for a long time, she finally told Sheng Chuyi after he, concerned, came to knock on the door, as she stuttered out her situation.

Upon hearing this, Sheng Chuyi’s handsome face turned a shade of red, as he was even less experienced than Shen Zhaozhao.

After hesitating for a while, he made a call to Qin Suxin with great psychological pressure.

“Oh my, our Zhaozhao is growing up,” Qin Suxin said joyfully as she had just finished a check-up. She told her son where she usually kept sanitary pads and also instructed him to make brown sugar water for Shen Zhaozhao.

Sheng Chuyi went to Qin Suxin’s bedroom and opened the middle drawer in the wardrobe as instructed.

Inside was a drawer full of sanitary pads.

Since Qin Suxin was pregnant and wouldn’t need them, she told her son to pack them all in a bag and bring them back for Zhaozhao.

Without looking closely, Sheng Chuyi just grabbed a pack and passed it to Shen Zhaozhao through the bathroom door gap.

Concerned that Shen Zhaozhao might not know how to use them, Qin Suxin also made sure that Sheng Chuyi passed her the phone.

She carefully explained over the phone how to use the items and also told Shen Zhaozhao what to be aware of for her first period.

With a flushed face, Shen Zhaozhao clumsily put one on, then dashed back home.

Even though she was usually carefree, this time she felt very embarrassed.

She just felt so mortified.

The little girl felt shy in front of her childhood friend for the first time.
