Chapter 780 Ending The Battle With One Move

Chapter 780  Ending The Battle With One Move

"Welcome back everyone, to the Semi-Final round of the League of Myths and Legends!" Thirteen said, while facing the camera. Cheers erupted from the stands because everyone was waiting for this moment where the last fights between the survivors would be held.

Since the schedule had been delayed, it was also decided that the match between Clark, and Mikhail would be held, right after the last battle of the day.

"Today's first match is a battle between two beautiful ladies," Thirteen stated. "Of course, one of them is my sister. I would also like to take this opportunity to make an announcement."

Thirteen paused for a bit, allowing everyone to focus their attention on him.

"To anyone who wishes to become my sister's fiance, all of you must first step over my father's dead body," Thirteen declared.

Gerald, who was in the VIP Room of the Leventis Family, choked on his fruit juice after hearing his no-good-son's declaration.

Alessia lightly patted her husband's back, as she tried to help him stop his coughing fit.

Lady Callista, and Remi, on the other hand, had amused smiles on their faces.

Clearly, they found Zion's actions quite amusing, which made the audience laugh as if they found it funny.

"Eh? Why is everyone laughing?" Thirteen asked. "You think I am joking? I'm not. In fact, I even prepared the coffin of my father just in case any of you succeeded!"

Gerald, who had been given water by Alessia to help him calm down, once again choked, and coughed repeatedly.

"Damn it!" Gerald cursed. "That brat Zion is trying to kill me for real!"

Arthur, who usually had a stern expression on his face as if everyone owed him money, started to chuckle, which surprised not only Lady Callista, but Michael, and Hans as well.

The audience once again broke into laughter, including the people that were watching the event from their homes. @@novelbin@@

Pica, and Pico, who was perched on Thirteen's shoulders, gave each other a glance.

"We need to up our game, Pico," Pica said.

"Right, sister," Pico replied. "We can't let this standoffish guy beat us!"

Tiona, who was coiled on Thirteen's arm, nodded as if encouraging the two Pocopocos to do their best.

Thirteen, who had successfully set the mood then introduced the two ladies, who would once again settle their differences with each other.

The moment Shasha, and Char stood in the arena, the cheers became louder.

Of course, the majority of those who were cheering were the guys.

"SIMPS!" Pico shouted the moment Thirteen directed the mouthpiece of the microphone in his direction. Instead of being offended, the cheering even became louder, making Pico question himself whether humans were really sane or not.

"Are both of you ready to start the battle?" Thirteen asked.

The two ladies, who were already holding their weapons in their hands, nodded at the same time.

Seeing that both of them were ready to fight, Thirteen declared the start of the battle.

"Battle Start!"

However, instead of attacking each other, the two ladies remained standing in place.

"I don't want to prolong this battle, so let's just end it with one move," Char stated. "Whoever survives will be the winner. Are you fine with that?"

"Yes," Shasha replied.

As if coming to an understanding, both ladies took a fighting stance.

Char's sword whip, extended and spun around her, showing a visage of a Red Snake, whose fangs were prepared to strike.

Alessia, who was watching her daughter, remembered the words that Shasha had told her before she went to the arena.

"Don't use the Dance of Solaris, mother. I want to win using my own abilities." The Dance of Solaris, and the Dance of the Moonlight was a paired Martial Technique.

Once both of them were activated at the same time, a Resonance would take place, allowing both Alessia, and Shasha to use each other's abilities, and further heightening the power of their own Martial Techniques.

But, this time, Shasha wished to fight Char fair and square, using only her own powers.

However, the young lady was at a disadvantage because it was currently day, and the true power of the Dance of the Moonlight could only be used during the night when the moon was present.

Thirteen looked at her sister with his arms crossed over his chest.

Shasha had also asked him to not intervene in her match, so he decided to let his sister do what she wanted.

Taking a deep breath, Shasha closed her eyes, and channeled her aura to her sword, making it hum faintly.

When she had learned the dance of the moonlight, her brother, Zion, asked her to find an alternative strategy to fight during the day.

He didn't make any move to help his sister because he didn't want to spoon feed her.

Thirteen knew that Shasha was serious by nature, and once she had set her mind to it, she would do her best to make it happen.

The young lady's rapier then shone in a blue light, which made the teenage boy nod his head in satisfaction.

'While it is still in the early stages, you finally understood the secret to your Divine Martial Technique,' Thirteen thought. 'Good job, Shasha.'

The reason why Thirteen didn't give Shasha, or his mother, Alessia, any other Martial Techniques that they could use during the times when their abilities were at its lowest was simple.

There was no need to do such a thing.

Even if it was night, the sun still existed.

Even if it was day, the moon was still there.

They were always present, affecting the world in ways that only a select few understood.

Char, who had done extensive research on Shasha's fighting style, understood that she was unable to unleash her full powers during the day.

But now, the faint glowing rapier in her hand was making her feel that it posed a significant threat against her.

Both ladies locked their gazes at each other and moved at the same time.

With a powerful roar filled with her desire to win, Char lashed out her sword whip, making the image of the giant red snake, lunge at Shasha.

Shasha, on the other hand, didn't back down and moved her rapier in a circular motion, as if drawing a full moon.

A moment later, a moon appeared in front of her, shining in a faint light.

The Snake and the Moon then collided, sending a shock wave expanding outwards at the point of impact.

The two girls didn't hold back, and used their most powerful attack at each other.

In that single clash, the winner was already decided, making the people start to cheer for the young lady, who remained standing in the arena.
