Chapter 811 The Hunter And The Hunted [Part 3]

Chapter 811  The Hunter And The Hunted [Part 3]

A few minutes after Rocky took everyone and escaped underground, the Alien-like Monster arrived at the location where the Magma Bal-Boa had vanished.

Though it could sense Shana's whereabouts, it couldn't go to her as she was located hundreds of meters underground, making the creature grit its teeth in frustration.

But, this frustration didn't last long.

As if making a determined choice, Azothrall started to dig.

It intended to catch up to the Magma Bal-Boa, who not only took its Queen but also beat it up earlier.

The two-fold grudge was enough reason for the Alien-like Monster to hunt down the Magma Bal-Boa, who was currently moving deeper under the ground.

Metatron, who was observing the Alien-like Monster, frowned as it noticed the latter adapt way too fast to its current circumstances.

It was as if it could easily learn any skill it needed to get the task done, bolstering the number of abilities that it could use at any given time.

"The Artemians really know how to cause trouble," Metatron said with a smile. "But this is not my problem. I'll leave The One to deal with it."

Truth be told, the Laplace Demon and The One were also monitoring the Alien-like monster from the Celestial Realm.

They also deemed that the biological weapon of the Artemians was extremely dangerous. However, the only thing they could do was wish that Thirteen had a way to deal with the monster before it went out of control.

They wanted to help Zion, but they had already helped him many times in the past, to the point of even breaking certain rules to let the teenage boy do things his way. The Law of Causality was still in effect, so they could no longer assist him at this point in time. With their hands tied, they naturally felt anxious.

While the Gods were paying close attention to Thirteen's and Azothrall's confrontation, the teenage boy was currently drinking potions while being healed by Shana, who had somewhat regained her composure.

She had many questions about Rocky and the place where they currently were. But seeing that Zion seemed to be injured, based on the blood streaming from his nose, she temporarily cast these questions aside and used her powers to heal him.

Although the restrictions in his body were resisting her healing powers, they still had some effect, alongside the potions that Thirteen was drinking.

When the teenage boy was feeling better, he decided to explain the situation to everyone.

"The monster that broke out from the cocoon doesn't belong to this world," Thirteen said. "That creature is from the Moon of Artem. I know all of you have a lot of questions, but let me finish whatever I am going to say first."

Thirteen paused as he made sure that everyone was listening to him.

When he was certain that he got everyone's attention, he shifted his attention to Shana and told her the truth.

"The bad news is, the target of this monster is you, Shana," Thirteen stated. "It has chosen you as its Queen. This means that if you are captured by this monster, you will become its nursery to populate its race."

Shana, who had barely recovered from the dread that she felt from the monster, shuddered uncontrollably after hearing Zion's statement.

"A nursery?" Shana muttered, feeling a sense of panic and dread.

"Yes." Thirteen nodded before reaching out to hold Shana's hand. "But I won't let that happen."

The young lady seemed to have regained a bit of hope as she stared at Zion's determined gaze.

"Do you trust me?" Thirteen asked with a smile, doing his best to look confident so that the Saintess would feel less anxious.

"I trust you," Shana replied. "Good." Thirteen nodded. "Don't worry. I won't let it catch you."

Getting the teenage boy's assurance, Shana felt a lot better because there was one thing that Zion was known for. @@novelbin@@

He always kept his promises.

Suddenly, Tiona raised her head and looked at the sky inside the Mobile Fortress.

She then hissed at her Master's ear, making the teenage boy nod his head in understanding.

"Rocky, follow the plan," Thirteen ordered.

The Magma Bal-Boa already knew what to do and continued to travel as fast as it could.

A few minutes later, it arrived at the river of magma located thousands of meters under the ground.

Rocky activated its abilities and expanded the river of Magma, preparing a battlefield that would give it an advantage.

The Rocky Bal-Boa's magma could potentially kill most monsters. Although he and his Master believed that their enemy wouldn't be too affected by it, they still decided to give it a try.

Another five minutes passed, and the Magma Bal-Boa finally sensed that their pursuer was closing in on them at a very quick pace.

Thirteen, who was able to tap into Rocky's senses due to their contract, drank another bottle of rejuvenation potion as he once again prepared to fight the Alien-like Monster, who had no plans on letting them go so easily.

"All of you, give me some space," Thirteen said. "No matter what happens, don't disturb me, okay? Our enemy is almost upon us, and I need to coordinate with Rocky to fight it."

Knowing that the teenage boy wasn't joking around, everyone retreated ten meters away from Zion and watched as he sat cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed.

"Synchronization," Thirteen said softly.

Immediately, his consciousness merged with Rocky, making the two of them become one.

When Thirteen opened his eyes, he shared Rocky's sight and had full control of the Magma Bal-Boa's body. A few seconds later, the Alien-like Monster broke through the ground above Rocky's head and lunged at the Magma Bal-Boa with its jaws wide open.

Zion didn't panic and controlled Rocky's body to disperse in the Magma, catching the monster by surprise.

Azothrall fell face-first at the magma, which changed the color of its black carapace to red, due to the extreme heat that assaulted its body.
