Chapter 936: The Continent’s New Hero [Part 2]

When the flashy special effects ended, the Blaze Skunk could no longer be found, just like the other monsters the Masked Rider Beetle had fought.

Suddenly, the reporter of Bee Bee Cee news, Rein, approached the masked hero, hoping to ask for an interview.

However, Masked Rider Beetle only shook his head and said a few words.

"I carry justice in my soul, and vengeance in my fists," Masked Rider Beetle said. "I am Masked Rider Beetle. When the weak and innocent are oppressed, I will come to save them. That is all you need to know."

After saying those words, the masked hero jumped on the back of his silver beetle, which ran away in haste to escape the scene.

Thirteen watched this while rubbing his chin before writing a few notes on a piece of paper.

"The explosions are nice, but they need to be flashier," Thirteen muttered. "On the bright side, his speech is not bad. It seems like Izzakar had done his research."

After finishing his notes, the young man tapped his communicator.

It didn't take long before someone picked up the call, and a voice filled with excitement echoed inside Thirteen's office.

"Did you see that, Zion?!" Prince Xylen said happily. "That was so amazing! It's so exciting! Hahahaha!"

"You did very well," Thirteen praised. "Next time, I plan to procure more props to make your entrances more flashy."

"That sounds good! Actually, Rezzkarin proposed that I should wear a cape to make me 200% cooler.

"But Izzakar vetoed it and said a cape will restrict my movements when the fighting starts. Still, I want to wear a cape to see how it will look when I'm in battle."

"Then, how about a compromise- you can add a cape, but discard it before you start fighting," Thirteen commented. "That way, you can still have a cape and look cool in front of the TV."

"Zion, you are a genius! Let's do that!"

"Mmm."

The two started to plan for their next collaboration, making Sherry and Hugo shake their heads helplessly.

Zion was like an excited little child with a new toy as he eagerly chatted with Prince Xylen about flashy new moves that would make the latter look even cooler in front of the Wanderers of the world.

Meanwhile, in the city where Roland and the other members of the Hero Party were stationed, Erica was holding her stomach as she laughed nonstop from watching the live broadcast that ended not long ago.

Shana, Mildred, Diana, Derek, and Joshua, who also recognized Thirteen's monster, had amused smiles on their faces.

Although they didn't know who this Masked Rider Beetle was, they were certain he was one of Zion's collaborators.

"What kind of low-budget kids' show did I just watch?" Roland, who had no idea what was happening, said with a frown. "And do any of you know about this Masked Rider Beetle? This is the first time I'm hearing his name."

"This is also the first time I've seen him," Erica commented. "But he doesn't seem so bad."

"Right." Shana nodded. "He actually looks cute."

"I guess someone else is trying to be a Hero in these dark times," Joshua said with amusement.

"Masked Beetle Rider? So cool." Mildred giggled.

"Hah…" Diana pinched the bridge of her nose because the second-hand embarrassment was real.

At first, she thought that the Blaze Skunk wasn't Giga.

But when Zion's monster friend did a dabbing pose, she couldn't help but cover her face with both hands. She had seen the Blaze Skunk do it once when she was still inside Rocky's Mobile Fortress, so that basically confirmed it.

Frankly, she didn't know if she should laugh or cry because of the special effects that were used during the battle earlier.

It made the members of the Prestigious Families look like a bunch of extras in a show that was being broadcast live to the world.

Erica was still giggling because her fiancé's antics tickled her funny bones.

Although they talked every day, especially at night before they went to sleep, Zion had never mentioned today's event to her.

'It's a good thing Shana and I are scheduled to return to Casimir City tomorrow,' Erica thought. 'I will finally be able to see him again.'

Tristan had decided to call the two young ladies back to personally brief them about the current situation of the Jinn Invasion.

Of course, the Field Marshal also wished to let his daughter spend some time with her fiancé, whom she hadn't seen for the past few weeks after she arrived to fulfill her role as the Saintess of the Hero party.

Tristan was well aware that the other families were also using honey traps against the teenage boy who would soon become his son-in-law.

In order to prevent Zion from being tempted, he decided to send Erica and Shana back to the Headquarters, while the rest of the Hero Party remained in the city they were protecting.

He also wanted to talk to the two girls so that they could convince Zion not to wander off in dangerous places anymore.

Although he believed the ladies could only keep their fiancé on the base for a few more days, those were still valuable days when Tristan didn't have to worry about the young man's safety.

The next day, Erica and Shana left the city and returned to Casimir City by riding a Military Helicopter.

It only took them two hours to reach their destination, and they were looking forward to seeing Zion again.

"Hey, are you going to wear that thing tonight?" Erica whispered in Shana's ear, making the latter's face redden.

"How about you?" Shana inquired. "Are you planning to wear that thing?"

"Of course, I will," Erica answered. "Sherry has been monopolizing Zion as of late, so I need to put some effort tonight, you know? You should do it too."

"But," Shana hesitated because the nightwear that Erica had brought for her was very sexy and nearly transparent.

"Silly girl. He has already seen you in your birthday suit," Erica whispered. "What are you being embarrassed about?"

"T-This and that are different."

"Sure. Whatever you say."

Erica smirked because she knew that Shana had a competitive side to her as well.

If she saw Zion paying more attention to Erica, then she would no longer hesitate to try to catch his attention, even if she were to wear sexy and provocative clothing.

But just as they were about to knock on Zion's room, they heard a sweet moan from the other side of the door.

However, this moan didn't seem to belong to Sherry, making the two girls glance at each other before pressing their ears to the door to get a better understanding of the situation.
