Chapter 121: VACATION NO MORE
The blood spilled drop by drop, creating a trail behind him as he ran as fast as he could while gently carrying lotus in his embrace.
Making his way to the Med-Bay as lotus situation was very dangerous at the moment, she was in need of urgent treatment to preserve her life.
Kicking the door open, Alan entered the med bay, causing a great stir and disturbing the calmness of the healing center.
The few staff and doctors in charge were horrified watching the bleeding woman in the hands of a teenager covered in blood.
Alan: "Help, she has bled so much; please help her."
The trained staff immediately sprung to work as they took lotus from Alan's hands.
Watching them apply The emergency measures were more than five people started working on Lotus; some summoned their companion beasts as they started the healing process, while others conducted tests and images.
Alan stood there in the massive room waiting for a word on Lotus's condition.
A few minutes later, a staff member came covered in blood to talk to Alan.
"She's lucky to be a high-level cultivator; otherwise, she would not have made it this far. Right now she's stable, but she is in need of constant monitoring. Please tell me what your relationship is with the patient and fill me in on the circumstances that led to such a massive injury."
Alan: "I do not know the patient; there was an accident in an area near the engine compartment, a pipe burst out, creating the hole in her stomach, probably the result of the earlier shaking that we felt near the engine."
"There was such an emergency; we didn't feel anything here in Med-Bay. We should inform the captain and the head engineer about this."
Even though he was still green in the business of spycraft, he thought that he had created enough cover as he was about to inform the doctor that the captain and the head engineer were fully aware of the imaginary incident and the shaking, something interrupted the conversation.
BOOM
The massive airship shook as if it was attacked.
"Now we can feel it; I don't think I need to inform the captain."
Alan's expression changed as he watched the lie he made up become reality.
Alan: "Please take care of her."
"Wait, where are you going? You still need to fill out some forms."
Turning back and running out of Med-Bay, leaving the shaken doctor behind, increasing his speed as he ran towards the front deck of the ship, knowing that the shaking and the booming sound earlier probably came from Dagger engaging the sinister little girl who had them all fooled.
The first thing that came into his perception when he reached the front deck was the scattered bodies of the agents, including Mantis and Hound.
They were all attacked viciously, sustaining a single wound similar to the one Lotus suffered. Alan immediately tried to confirm if they were still alive.
Mantis and the other agent were alive, but Hound wasn't as lucky, as he was already dead.
BOOOOM
A massive wave of energy almost sent him flying, crashing into the ship, shaking the massive aerial vehicle, scattering the agents bodies all over.
Alan unleashed his talent, the void god trying to find the source of these terrifying waves. He raised his head as he felt the terrifying presence in the sky.
To massive flying beasts and one man frantically attacking a small child up in the sky.
Knowing that Mantis and the other agent did not have much time left if they did not receive the emergency treatment immediately, he held their bodies to teleport back to the med bay.
Alan: "These people are severely injured too; please take care of them."
Like a ghost. He appeared and vanished, leaving the staff shocked watching the two bleeding men on the floor.
Back on the front deck, Alan felt The clash of Titans was happening right above his head.
He could not even imagine staying alive if he was just a little bit closer; just The shockwave from the clash is enough to kill him.
The terrifying fact about the fight is that Dagger was not winning as he was struggling to keep up with the little girl who was facing one man and two terrifying beasts; yet not only did she held her ground, but she was the one who was applying the pressure.
....
"This is fun, but I really need to go; otherwise, I will have taken good care of you, after all you look so delicious, much more appetizing than the fools I met earlier on the ship."
The twisted smile on the girl's face ignited rage inside dagger's chest. He was giving it his all, but the girl was completely at ease. Clearly this was not her full strength at all.
Dagger: "Your whole covered plan is in the open now, and we know about it. Do you truly think that you can succeed in such a crazy plan? The moment your cover was blown, the plan was bound to fail."
"Not if I deliver this little thingy; after all, you haven't managed to confirm the targets, and the human federation is a very massive place for your organization to look around. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Believe me, soon you will see the best fireworks show ever made in human history."
Dagger: "Do you think I will let you!!?"
Dagger repeated his attack, followed by the two beasts releasing massive elemental attacks towards the girl, who absurdly smiled at the terrifying energies coming her way, ready to blast her to Kingdom come.
"I have played enough; now I need to go!!"
She vanished, evading the attacks as she appeared right in front of Dagger, who was ready for a clash, but the small hand that was glowing with a terrifying red halo destroyed the weapon in his hand before severely injuring him and sending him flying away.
But something nobody expected happened. Right at the moment the little girl attacked, a creeping shadow appeared right behind her, shocking both dagger and the girl.
Dagger's eyes widened in shock as he received the crushing attack while the little girl was surprised as she did not feel this intruder coming at all.
But what surprised her more was that the intruder did not take the chance to attack. He simply touched her back. By the time she blinked, she found herself away from dagger, right in the middle of the free sky. Suddenly, a beaming light penetrated the clouds like a pillar of judgment descending on the little girl.
BOOOOM
A massive explosion That twisted space itself happened right before the shocked and injured dagger.
Alan, who was standing above a terrifying serpent hiding in the clouds, was coughing blood as he was severely injured by the shock wave of the girl's previous attack against Dagger, but he had to choose that moment as it was the only moment he saw a vulnerability that he could exploit to actually make contact with the enemy.
Alan: "Cough, good job, Nova."
Nova: "Master, my attack barely scratched her; we need to leave NOW!!?"
From within the fiery explosion, a menacing laughing voice vibrated through the heavens, shaking the skies.
"Hahahahaha, a spatial talent user who actually managed to teleport me and even that terrifying attack beyond his current capability? Such a future agent is a very dangerous prospect for us. I probably should kill you right now, but you're lucky that I'm way behind the schedule now."
Alan felt a terrifying aura spreading like a net all over the sky, passing through him, shaking him to his core as he listened to the words carried by the wind before everything returned to normal in a matter of seconds.
Alan: "Phew."
Even Nova felt the relief of staying alive after crossing such a terrifying entity; she almost wanted to go back to the sanctuary again.
On the back of a massive flying beast that resembled a falcon but was a thousand times bigger and more majestic, a severely injured dagger was actually trying to follow the little girl.
Alan, who saw the desperate look on Dagger's face, asked Nova to teleport to intercept his way.
Suddenly the humongous, falcon-like beast's path was interrupted by a flying serpent.
Alan: "Stop, dagger. Don't follow her."
Dagger: "What the hell do you mean? Don't follow her. If their plans succeed, we will be sinners to humanity itself. I can't live with that."
Alan: "You're injured, and you are clearly way weaker than her. You can't stop her, and besides, their plan is now doomed for failure."
Dagger had a ridiculous look on his face as he could not believe what this man meant by saying that a terrifying terror attack was doomed to failure.
Dagger: "What do you mean!!"
Alan: "Let's go back and report the situation immediately, then check up on your team. All of them are fine except for Hound; he passed away."
For some reason he did not feel like he could argue with this kid as everything he said turned out to be true, and if not for him, he would probably have lost his team, delaying knowing that the girl was the true messenger.
What do you think?
