The Absolute beast Tamer

Chapter 95 POCKET DIMENSION (7)

No. 80: "Awahhhhh, that was what I call a quality sleep."

No. 9: "You're finally awake; 33 hasn't returned yet."

No. 80: "Where is he? Is he still doing reconnaissance?"

No. 9: "No, he went outside to…"

No80: "To what?"

No. 9: "I really should not have let him go alone. He went outside to catch a living 7th stage beast."

No. 80: "What the f***, why would he do something so crazy like that?"

No. 9: "He said it's part of the plan to finish the mission."

No. 80: "How long has he been out?"

No. 9: "8-9 hours, give or take."

No. 80: "F***, we need to go and look for him."

No. 9: "Wait, what if he comes back and finds the cave empty?"

Number 80 stopped moving as he was about to suggest that number 9 stay in the camp in case number 33 has returned.

But before he could, a sudden huge impact shook the ground near the cave entrance.

No. 9: "What is this?"

No. 80: "Let's go, get ready for a fight."

Their nerves tensed up as they held their weapons tightly in their hands, slowly making their way out of the cave.

What greeted them outside was out of their expectations, as they were ready to engage an attacking beast only to see a huge one knocked out with their junior on top of it.

Alan: "Oh, you're awake, senior. Say hi to big piggy. He is our key to finishing the mission."

No. 80: "What the hell are you doing? Is it still alive?"

Alan: "Yep, just in a very deep sleep within dreams."

No. 9: "It's good that you're back."

Alan: "It is good to be back; other than our new big friend, I brought some meat with me, so why don't we have a meal? I am famished."

No80: "I'm hungry, but f*** that for now. Can you please explain what you are doing bringing a living, breathing 7th stage beast here? I don't even want to know how you did it; I just want to know why."

Alan: "I'm hungry and severely sleep deprived, and as the saying goes, there is no talk or work on an empty stomach. After dinner, I will explain everything."

It didn't take long for the delicious smell to spread throughout the small cave, playing on everyone's taste buds.

After having a much-needed delicious meal, the three of them gathered around the sleeping beast.

No80: "Will it suddenly wake up?"

Alan: "Not for another 12 hours."

No. 9: "Now, Junior, you should start explaining your insane plan."

Alan: "It's not insane; it's actually very safe."

No. 80: "Go on, we are listening."

Alan: "As you know, we already made the poison that is capable of killing a 9th stage beast, so we have the important tool to finish the mission.

This is the first part of my plan, which is already completed successfully.

Now we go to the second part; we need a delivery system, or a way to deliver the poison in layman's terms. So what do we do about this? We can't possibly try to administer the poison ourselves. That would be suicide."

No. 80: "Glad you understand that."

Alan: "Now before we continue with the second step, I will explain the poison properties, which is a slow-acting poison that probably needs 12 hours before it takes effect.

I purposely chose such a type of poison, plus there were not many options as we did not have enough time to look for other ingredients for other types of poison.

But it is perfect for our plan, for the second part the big guy sleeping here will be our delivery system."

No. 9: "Oh my God, you want to…"

Alan: "Yes, you are right; I will inject the poison into this piggy. Then I will deliver it right before waking up to the doorsteps of our target, who does not like to stray away from its mate.

So when food comes to your doorstep under such circumstances, you don't ask how or why; you will just think that you're lucky.

After eating this carrier of ours, we simply have to wait for the poison to take effect. Then we'll keep monitoring until the results become evident and our target is eliminated."

No. 80: "You're freaking evil, you know that."

Number 80's face looked so weird as if he had swallowed a fly, so much he wanted to say, but so much did not come out.

No. 9: "That is perfect. Why did we even not think about something like this before?"

Alan: "Because we are all fixated on the process, you want to kill, you have to fight, which is not wrong, but the word assassination in the mission gives us a lot of possibility and options to play with; this is just merely one of them."

No. 80: "Ahhhhh, okay, you evil genius, when are we going to deliver dinner to the target?"

Alan: "After I get some sleep, we will finish the mission."

With a tired smile on his face, Alan lay down on the ground as he closed his eyes, immediately drifting into sleep.

No. 80: "He really went to sleep."

No. 9: "What do you think? He made the poison with you and immediately went hunting. He also managed to bring back a 7th creature that is alive. If you want to sleep, he absolutely can sleep. Now it's your turn to go and keep an eye on our other sleepy friend."

No. 80: "F*** no, I'm not going here, that thing."

With a stoic Frosty smile on her face, number 9 said.

No. 9: "You will, or I can make an ice sculpture of you. Then you can go back to sleep FOREVER!!"

Number 80 felt a sudden chill spreading all over his body.

No80: "I will go, I will go; it's my time to keep watch anyway."

Getting out of the cave like a fleeing mouse that was running from a hungry cat, he started his shift guarding the huge boar-like beast.

Standing right next to the sleeping beast, number 80 could not help but be number 80.

No. 80: "33 really knows how to choose; this guy is full of meat."

Suddenly a growl came out of the sleeping beast, scaring the hell out of number 80.

No. 80: "F***, this is going to be a long watch."

...…..

After Alan woke up, everyone had the leftovers of yesterday for breakfast before they started preparing to execute the plan.

No. 80: "33, are you sure that it will not wake up now? It has been 10 hours already."

Alan: "Don't worry, I gave it another dose of the sedative that will keep it out for a few more hours, until we finish the delivery."

No. 9: "Me and number 80, we'll go ahead to scout the route; meanwhile, you will use teleportation so you can catch up with us; hopefully we can meet right before the territory of our target."

No. 80: "Let's go."

Watching his two seniors leave, he went back to meditate until he received the first report from them.

An hour and a half later, his terminal received a message from number 80.

No. 80: "1/3 of the distance is clear. Make your jump."

Alan immediately exited the cave, standing right above the huge body of the boar beast. He teleported, vanishing into thin air.

It was as if lady luck was smiling at them as they did not encounter any obstacles along the way to the target's territory.

No. 80: "You're here."

Alan: "Yes, is the target inside?"

No. 9: "As always, standing guard."

Alan: "Okay, I have injected the poison inside the piggy before I got out of the cave. Now we need to wake it up and send it on its way."

No. 80: "Why do you want to wake it up? Let's just leave it at the edge of the territory."

Alan: "They are 9th stage beasts who have a very high intelligence, not as much as a human but definitely way higher than the animal you think they are.

If we deliver a sleeping beast to them, they will definitely find out that there's something wrong."

No. 9: "So you want to wake it up and lure it inside the target territory while staging a fight, then retreating when the target attacks, leaving the poor pig alone."

Alan: "You both stay hidden behind the rocks; I will play the cat-and-mouse game with the piggy."

No. 9: "No, you did more than enough; let me do it."

Alan: "Again, I can teleport in case of danger, so I think I am the one to do it."

No. 80: "Don't fight, number nine. He wants to do it, and he's the best option, so let him, and you 33 be careful."

Alan: "Always."

Both his seniors left as they hid a distance away, watching over their junior who was waiting for the boar beast to wake up.

Like a drunk old man staggering all around unable to stand straight, the drug boar beast was waking up as it looked at the same prey that was running from him earlier.

Proven to be easy to provoke and overwhelmed with anger. The boar attacked Alan as they both continued the game of cat and mouse.

Perhaps because of the drugs or maybe the anger, the boar did not feel or sense the overwhelming aura of this territory that he entered.

Alan: "Here we go, he's here."

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

The boar froze in its place after hearing the intimidating cry coming from another more terrifying beast than itself.

It immediately wanted to run, but the mouse came back to bite the cat's legs.

Alan out of nowhere appeared behind it, attacking the joints of its legs, severely limiting the boar's mobility.

From within the gorge, a massive, terrifying bear-like beast moving at a speed that was unimaginable for something that big.

When it saw Alan attacking the boar, it immediately targeted him.

Not for the feeling of camaraderie between the beasts but as a payback for the previous insects that attacked him and his mate.

But sadly for this powerful and intimidating beast, Alan did not stay for the after party as he teleported as far as he could, leaving one terrified beast and another terrifying one.

As Alan regrouped with the other two, he could not help but ask.

Alan: "Did the target take the bait?"

No. 80: "Let's say a few words for Biggie's soul."

No. 9: "The target killed the bait and brought it back home just like you wanted."

Relief was the only thing that Alan felt right now.
