When everyone was seated, Master Jing Xuan smiled at Ling Feng. Ling Feng was nothing less than his personal god of wealth as Ling Feng used to bring along priceless treasures for him during the previous visits.

"And who might these two be?" Master Jing Xuan took a look at the two people beside Ling Feng.

Previously Ling Feng had come with Cangqiong Sect's young lady, Yue Yunlan. So, this time around, Master Jing Xuan wouldn't dare to ignore Ling Feng's companions either.

"Oh, this is my good brother, Yang Jun, who happens to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce." Ling Feng introduced him with a slight smile.

"He's a member of the Chamber of Commerce too?" Master Jing Xuan narrowed his eyes as he carefully scrutinized Yang Jun. He carried on to ask. "Are you one of the junior from Elder Yang Yuncong's family?"

"Indeed, I am." Yang Jun quickly nodded respectfully, not daring to be negligent in the slightest.

"Seems like the Yang family has quite a promising young one here." Master Jing Xuan nodded slightly at Yang Jun with a casual praise.

Of course he was merely being polite. To him, the Yang family's good fortune lay in their connection to Ling Feng. In fact he thought, perhaps the Chamber of Commerce could foster closer ties with the Yangs because of Ling Feng.

How could Yang Jun know that just because Ling Feng merely mentioned his family, it raised his standing before Master Jing Xuan which indirectly boosted his family's position.

Yang Jun was elated. To be praised by someone of Master Jing Xuan's stature was an honor he never expected.

"And who is this young lady, could she be a daughter of some influential clan?" Master Jing Xuan's gaze then fell upon Tuoba Yan. This young woman has exuded a regal bearing even at her young age. Her unmatchable beauty had made an elder like Master Jing Xuan felt a flicker of admiration.

"This is Yan'er," Ling Feng said nonchalantly. "She's my personal attendant."

"Att-attendant?"

Master Jing Xuan's mouth twitched slightly. A woman that resembled a heavenly jewel is merely an attendant by Ling Feng's side?

Master Jing Xuan cleared his throat while changing the subject immediately. "Ling Feng, my friend, have you brought more treasures for me to appraise?"

Ling Feng's expression grew serious as he looked at Master Jing Xuan, diving straight to the point.

"You wish to meet the supreme elders?" Master Jing Xuan's eyes widened as his chubby frame trembled. "T-that's not easy to arrange."

"Will it be inconvenient for you to introduce me to them?" Ling Feng asked while raising his eyebrow.

"No, it isn't..." Master Jing Xuan sighed. "The supreme elders would naturally be pleased to meet a young talent like you. But right now..."

Master Jing Xuan paused with a forceful smile. "Ling Feng, you may not be aware that the Tianmeng Chamber of Commerce has recently encountered a serious incident. That's why the supreme elders are temporarily unavailable to meet any visitors. As for what had happened... well, since this is an internal affair, it's best left unspoken."

"Is this about a black donkey that had injured several of the supreme elders?" Ling Feng asked plainly.

"Su... Supreme Elder, it's this kid Ling Feng who claims to know Supreme Elder Feng and wishes to pay a visit."

Master Jing Xuan replied with a trembling voice.

"Hmph. I won't see you. Not even anyone!

The woman continued coldly with an unsympathetic voice. "Leave now before I lose my patience, or you will suffer the consequences!"

Master Jing Xuan's forehead glistened with sweat. He turned and looked at Ling Feng with a strained smile. "See? I already told you, Supreme Elder Feng isn't receiving any visitors. Let's leave while we can."
