In the heart of Seoul, in a towering skyscraper, Lee Hyuk was calmly walking towards the top floor. As he passed by, employees greeted him with respectful nods, which he acknowledged with a slight smile as he made his way to his office.
“Doesn’t the boss seem in a good mood lately?” one employee whispered to another.
“Totally. I heard he even paid for the entire staff’s recent outing out of his own pocket. Something good must have happened…”
The employees speculated about the reasons behind Lee Hyuk’s improved mood, and almost in unison, they clapped their hands together as if they had solved the mystery.
“It must be because of that, right?”
“Yeah, nothing else makes sense.”
“Secretary Cheon is back.”
They chuckled, clearly pleased with their conclusion, unaware that Lee Hyuk had already reached his office.@@novelbin@@
Once inside, Lee Hyuk settled at his desk. Precisely five minutes later, a light knock echoed through the room.
