Dragon King's Harem Chapter 329. Kidnapping The Lizard King

Al and I turned in unison to face Viperax, his frown etching deeper. At that moment, Al's finger twitched, a subtle signal to unleash his Shadow Manipulation skill.

The shadows in the tent, now stirred with a newfound vitality. Like serpents hungry for prey, they slithered. Viperax's body became ensnared, manifesting into bindings that coiled around him in an instant.

The Lizard King gasped.

Yet, I knew the grip was temporary. The shadows, while formidable, could only contain Viperax for a brief moment.

Simultaneously, I snapped my fingers, opening my portal. It materialized behind Viperax.

His soldiers and his wives swiftly prepared for a coordinated response.

Before their intentions could materialize into action, I flicked my fingers. My Telekinetic skill surged into play.

Viperax, caught in the grip, was propelled with a forceful power toward the waiting portal.

Simultaneously, the soldiers and wives found themselves defying gravity. My invisible power acted as a forceful barrier, bouncing them away in the opposite direction.

Amidst the orchestrated chaos, Al wasted no time. With a decisive charge, he lunged into the portal after Viperax, disappearing into the swirling vortex.

"Evelina, Jyne, treat our guests well. Eir, I'll leave the others to you," I commanded. Without waiting for their responses, I swiftly moved toward the shimmering portal.

Evelina, Jyne and Eir's PoV

Once the portal sealed itself, panic rippled through Viperax's soldiers and wives. The sudden disappearance of their king left them disoriented. In an instant, weapons were drawn, and spells were readied.

Evelina and Jyne, however, remained unruffled, their demeanor almost mocking. They sat calmly, defiant expressions.

Jyne, with a deliberate nonchalance, lifted her glass to her lips, taking a sip as if savoring the chaos around her.

At the forefront, Eir took a strategic stance, hand resting on the hilt of his sword. His gaze shifted to Viperax's panicking entourage.

The dragon soldiers mirrored Eir's readiness, their hands firmly gripping their weapons. The scene resembled a standoff, both sides prepared for a clash.

Viperax's wives confronted Evelina and Jyne. “What does all this mean?!” she exclaimed, her eyes darting between Evelina and Jyne.

The other wife rose from her seat. "Do you want to wage war with the lizard tribe?!" she warned.

Evelina, however, remained composed. “Relax, sister. My husband is just taking your husband to hang out. They'll be back soon, unscathed," she replied with a subtle smile.

Jyne, who had been relatively silent, couldn't resist interjecting with her own touch of sarcasm. “Just take a seat and relax,” she added, her words a mix of casual dismissal and underlying mischief.

This plan was a bit sudden. Any misstep could plunge them back into the chaos of war. Yet, after conducting final checks and assessing the risks, Argod resolved to proceed.

"Take a seat and relax?!" Viperax's wife's voice reverberated through the tent. Her eyes darted between Evelina and Jyne. "How can we do that when we don't even know our husband's fate?!" she shouted.

Evelina maintained her calm demeanor. "Like I said, they'll be back soon, unscathed," she reiterated. The subtle smile on her face remained.

Jyne placed an hourglass on her table and let the grains of sand fall. "One hour. At least give them time an hour," she declared.

"After one hour, then what?! What if they don't come back?!" Viperax's wife pressed.

Jyne met her gaze, offering a reassuring nod. "Don't worry, they will," she said with a confidence.
