The Dungeon Conquerors: Journey to the Peak

The auras which were coming toward Luna belonged to Anton and his butler who was also a rank 3 mage like him. Luna had made sure to apprehend all her enemies in a very short period of time to make sure that they would not be able to call for help, but still for some reason, two more rank 3 mages were coming to help him.

The reason behind this was actually quite simple. Mark was using a magic item to stay in continuous contact with Anton. So when Luna binded him, he was unable to continue giving mana to the magic item. So the connection between them was suddenly cut. That was why Anton was immediately able to understand that something bad had happened.

After getting closer to the room, Anton was about to enter the room but his butler stopped him. Instead he first launched an attack spell on the door and blew it away. If any kind of spell was engraved on the door then that would also be destroyed with this method.

Actually even though Anton was also a rank 3 mage, his experience in real battle was almost non existent. He had lived all his life enjoying the comfort of the royal family, so how would he gain the experience of a real fight.

As a lazy person, Anton was also not interested in gaining any kind of battle experience as that would be a lot of work. He was also mainly planning to depend on his stronger subordinates most of the time, so Anton had never thought that his lack of battle experience was anything serious.

So after his butler had blown away the door, he went to leisurely enter through the door. But before he could step in, a ball of starlight came directly toward him through the smoke of the explosion. The activation of this magjc was so fast that even the experienced butler noticed it too late.

As even the butler had not noticed this spell in time, there was a no way Anton would be able to sense it. So he did not manage to put up any barriers when the spell directly hit him and he was blown away.

The butler wanted to immediately go to his liege's rescue but several sword made of starlight came toward him and stopped him from doing so. The butler was extremely worried about the condition of his master, so his fighting style was becoming sloppy.

Using that as a chance, Luna launched a hidden attack and ended up injuring the butler in less than 30 exchanges. Then she used that opportunity to cast a binding spell on the butler. That spell was exactly the same that she had used on the man inside the room.

But as the butler was way more experienced than the first man, he was able to move his body a little bit to avoid getting completely trapped by this spells. But with his injury, he was not fast enough and half of his body still got immobilized. Even 70 percent of the magjc power inside his body was also sealed.

Even before this, Luna was capable of defeating this man in one on one battle. Even though he had more battle experience than Luna, Luna was superior in terms of magic affinity and knowledge. So now that he was severely limited with the seals, Luna was not worried about him at all and came out of the room.

But Luna was not being careless as a shiny white barrier was covering her. The people who had attacked her definitely had a thorough plan ready. So she was still being cautious.

She looked at the trapped butler and immediately recognised him as the personal butler of the third prince. From this she could guess that the third prince was most probably behind all this. But this butler might even be working for someone else while trying to put the blame on the third prince.

After giving the butler a cold look, Luna approached the other man with caution. She had felt the presence of this man and had instinctively threw a probing star ball attack. But surprisingly, even though this man was giving off the aura of a rank 3 mage, he was directly hit by the star ball and had not moved ever since.

Luna guessed that this man was definitely someone who had entered the third rank very recently. His mana was still not condensed enough, so his magic defense was still lacking. There was also a possibility that this man just acting and that was why Luna was still trying to be as careful as possible.

After getting close to the man and taking a look at him from up close, to her utter surprise, Luna noticed that this man was not acting and had genuine went unconscious from that simple probing spell.

But that was not what surprised her so much. After seeing the unconscious man's face, she had also realised that this man was none other than her third brother. It looked like he was truly behind all this.

Before surrounding Luna, the butler had cast a sound isolating barrier spell on this part of the royal palace to make sure what they were doing would stay hidden. But as soon as the butler lost 70 percent of his magic power, he was not able to control the spell anymore and the barrier dispersed.

Taking this chance, Luna launched a single Star Blust spell on the wall which created a loud sound of explosion. Now that there was no barrier to stop the sound, almost all parts of the palace were able to hear it. Immediately many soldiers and court mages came to check what was happening.

Very soon, the whole palace became busy as the third prince and his men were found in the palace part belonging to the little princess. If it was before, then the palace officials would try to put this case under the rug by any means as the third prince was just way too influential.

But now the situation and changed. The little princess was no less influential than the third prince and due to her fiance, she might even have more influence. She herself was also a very talented and powerful mage. So this case was definitely going to be complex and most probably the king himself would need to get involved in this.

So what would happen with Luna and Anton ?
