The Journey Begins
Ling's heart pounded with excitement as he stood before Lan, his mind racing with the implications of her words. He was the Dragon Emperor, the master of his own destiny, and he was about to embark on a journey that would change his life forever.
"I'm ready," he said, his voice firm and resolute. "I'm ready to return to the Dragon Clan and fulfill my destiny."

With that, Lan reached out and grasped Ling's hand, her fingers intertwining with his as she led him out of the small clearing. As they walked, the trees seemed to grow taller and more majestic, their branches reaching out to form a canopy overhead.
As they walked, the landscape around them began to change. The trees grew taller and more sparse, the air growing thick with an otherworldly energy. Ling could feel it, a thrumming power that seemed to resonate deep within his chest.
"What is this place?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"This is the border of the Dragon Clan's territory," Lan replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We are about to enter the heart of the clan's power."
