When Lin Xiao’s incarnation stepped out of the Door of Space, he immediately felt countless beliefs, emotions, and obsessions tightly enveloping his avatar. With a wave of his hand, he summoned a Divine Shield to block out all these distracting thoughts.

These beliefs, emotions, and random thoughts arose from the consciousness of his followers. As he ascended to Medium Divine Power, amalgamating all the Godhood and strength he possessed, he naturally attracted these thoughts. Upon entering Starworld, this sense would be exponentially stronger. The more powerful he was and the more followers he had, the more such consciousness waves would become diverse and numerous.

This is why Deities, upon losing their Divine Power, would so easily fall into Starworld and ultimately meet their demise.

His entrance into Starworld this time proved fortunate; he discovered no active Star Realm Beings around, let alone Divine Aberrations.

These Divine Spirit Entities, only capable of existing in Starworld, would swarm like mad dogs upon sighting Divine Beings, engulfing one in an unrelenting, overwhelming group attack—a nuisance indeed.

One must understand that Starworld is a spiritual domain, known as the Tomb of the Gods, where the Incarnations of Gods face severe suppression. Despite being of Medium Divine Power, his Incarnation of God would have to flee if it encountered a large group of Star Realm Beings in Starworld due to their sheer numbers.

...

Lin Xiao left a coordinate marker on the spot to prevent getting lost. He then concealed his Divine Power and became an inconspicuous grey gleam, flying towards the depths of Starworld.

He hadn’t flown for long before he spotted a cluster of meteorites of various sizes ahead, the smallest the size of an egg and the largest resembling a building, drifting in the void.

“Lucky me!”

The Starworld, called the Tomb of the Gods, is vast beyond measure, as vast as the Crystal Wall Universe itself. To encounter meteorites formed from the bodies of Deities so quickly in such an immense realm was truly fortunate.

Through observation, it appeared to be a small Floating Island formed from the rock remains of a weak Deity that had fallen into Starworld. It wasn’t particularly large, and it was unclear why the island had shattered into countless meteorites that now drifted apart.

Lin Xiao observed from afar. Amongst the meteorites, there were numerous Star Realm Beings, but none of them were particularly large.

He dared not use Divine Power to scan the area, as that would alert the roaming Star Realm Beings.

Moving cautiously among the meteorites, one Star Realm Being spotted him and charged excitedly, with a whole group of them noticing and rushing over like mad dogs.

Lin Xiao gestured, and a white light barrier sprang forth. Utilizing the universal Extraordinary godhood ability ‘Magic Conversion,’ he transformed Divine Power into Mana, which didn’t elicit a strong reaction from Star Realm Beings. The barrier quickly expanded into a vast Magic Barrier that enclosed the nearby space and all the meteorites—and naturally, the Star Realm Beings were trapped inside as well.

What followed was straightforward. He released simple Divine Power surges one after another, slaughtering the Star Realm Beings. The Mana Barrier blocked the surges, preventing other Star Realm Beings from detecting the changes within.

After destroying all the Star Realm Beings inside the Mana Barrier, he scanned the meteorites with Divine Power and soon found something strange about a medium-sized meteorite in the center. His scanning was hindered there, as if a special rule shielded the interior of the meteorite.

After finishing the scan, Lin Xiao opened his eyes, releasing two long-charged beams of Gold Light that streaked towards the meteorites of varying sizes.

The Gold Light flashed past, easily cutting open the meteorites to reveal their interiors.

With no air in Starworld and a Magic Barrier in place, the dramatic upheaval inside the barrier went undetected by the Star Realm Beings outside.

As the meteorites continuously shattered, droplets of Immortal Blood, not yet fully petrified, gathered before Lin Xiao. When most meteorites were cut apart, the pool of Immortal Blood before him grew to the size of an egg.

The so-called Immortal Blood was the blood of Deities.@@novelbin@@

When Deities fell and their bodies crashed into Starworld and petrified, there was a process involved. If the meteorites were shattered before full petrification, it was possible to collect some Immortal Divine Blood and even Flesh of Gods.

With enough luck, one might even find Divine Artifacts used by the fallen Deity.

The main materials for crafting Divine Artifacts were typically the bodies of True Gods, and the stronger the Deity’s Divine Power during life, the more powerful the resulting Divine Artifact.

However, according to the tiers of this Crystal Wall Universe, the number of Powerful Divine Beings was limited, and most Divine Corpses found were those of Weak Divine Power. Medium Divine Power corpses were renowned mighty figures from the annals of gods, and those of Powerful Divine Power were rarer still; it’s estimated that only a few had fallen throughout the entire history of the gods.

As the beams of Divine Power finished cutting through most of the meteorites, he soon approached the central one where he had sensed the anomaly.

With a slicing motion, a vast blade of Gold Divine Power cleaved the meteorite in half, and as the halves floated apart in the emptiness of Starworld, a brilliant Gold Light burst forth, colliding with and puncturing a hole in the edge of the Magic Barrier with a ‘bang.’

Luckily, Lin Xiao had prepared, reacting so swiftly that he was in front of the escape path of the Gold Light in an instant. With a snatch, he caught the dazzling light in his hand. His palm trembled violently, but a web formed by countless Gold God Texts materialized, representing the rules he controlled, prepared to fend off any sudden attacks.

Nevertheless, the rupture of the Mana Barrier let out a surge of Divine Power, drawing hordes of Star Realm Beings affected by the disturbance.

Lin Xiao waved his hand and split the two meteorites open, collecting a fist-sized piece of the remaining Immortal Blood, and then, before the Star Realm Beings could break through the magic barrier, he flashed away from the spot, quickly vanishing into the void.

After ensuring that there were no Star Realm Beings within an extreme distance, he set up another magic barrier. Only then did he stretch out his right hand, which was wrapped in countless fine gold inscriptions, inside of which was a mass of gold light that pulsed intensely.

But under the pressure of his powerful Divine Power, the fiercely pulsating gold light was forcibly suppressed and rendered immobile. He slowly opened his palm, and a dazzling sphere of gold light lay quietly in his hand without moving.

“What is this?”

Golden Divine Power slowly surfaced in his eyes as his gaze, like two searchlights, shone onto the palm of his hand, causing the object to tremble as if stimulated by something.

“Alive?”

Lin Xiao was extremely shocked to find a living thing inside a meteorite transformed from the corpse of a fallen deity within the Starworld—this was an unprecedented scenario.

One must know that inside the Starworld, aside from Star Realm Beings and travelers from the material planes, there should be no living creatures. Even true gods who haven’t fully died would eventually fall completely due to the eternal erosion of the Starworld. The crucial point was that the golden light in his palm was unequivocally not that of a true god who hadn’t fully perished—this was certain to Lin Xiao, himself a True God.

So what exactly was it?

It was a Divine Artifact still retaining a trace of sentience!

As he continued to exert his Divine Power on it, the gold light was gradually suppressed until it was fully subdued, finally revealing its true form—a golden ball covered with peculiar patterns.

This object resembled a model of a star, and upon close inspection, the peculiar patterns on the surface appeared similar to the mountains and rivers of a planet’s terrain. Lin Xiao recalled a topographic map of this planet he had seen at an Outpost Base, which corresponded to the terrain on the surface of this golden ball.

In other words, this object was a topographical map of the Primary Material Plane of the Crystal Wall Universe.

Of course, the Primary Material Plane has a flat Earth under a dome sky configuration, which looked different from a spherical shape. This was simply a transformation of that flat configuration into a spherical form, without any change to the terrain itself.

Such an artifact…

Honestly, Lin Xiao had no immediate idea of its use.

However, when he gently brushed the golden ball with his left hand, it released intense waves of Divine Power. At the same time, beams of gold light shot out, forming a massive virtual projection of the Primary Material Plane in front of him, and Lin Xiao suddenly realized its purpose.

He understood the function of this artifact—it was a super-large, real-time virtual map, capable of displaying the situation of the Primary Material Plane in real-time with the support of a Deity’s Divine Power.

To the Deity themselves, it might not be particularly useful, but to the Deity’s Church and army, it was absolutely a top-tier Divine Artifact.

For Lin Xiao, it mattered even more. He was about to engage in a great battle with the magic deity sequence on the surface, and his knowledge about the surface conditions was not very extensive. With this artifact, he could clearly understand the terrain of the magic deity sequence’s dioceses, which was extremely helpful for the deity’s terrestrial armies.

But after the initial excitement, Lin Xiao sighed regretfully, because after channeling his Divine Power into the artifact, he realized it was a broken Divine Artifact.

A complete golden ball, aside from displaying the virtual topography of the Primary Material Plane, would have a range of additional functions, but they were all lost now.

But there was no helping it. To have accompanied its master to fall into this Star Realm, it must have endured a life-and-death battle, and damage was inevitable.

However, when considering the fact that the Deity had brought the broken artifact to the Star Realm shows their strength, Lin Xiao suspected that the fallen Deity might not just have wielded Weak Divine Power, but possibly Medium Divine Power as well.

But even a deity with Medium Divine Power has perished in this vast Star Realm, unable to leave behind even a sliver of consciousness.

No matter how mighty one was in life, how renowned one’s name, once fallen, it’s inevitable to be drawn into the Star Realm. Such a tragedy!

Thinking of this reminded Lin Xiao of the Human Main World, which as part of the Divine Realm civilization, also had a Starworld; the children of the True God Level Divine Realm who fell would also tumble into the Starworld. However, the Starworld of the Human Main World differed from that of the Alien World, as the Gaia Will of the Main World had altered the rules of the Starworld, changing the vast rules of the Starworld. Although the True God Level children of the Divine Realm still became trapped in the Starworld upon falling, they would not disintegrate into meteorites but instead continue to exist within the Starworld as Guardians of the Main World.

This scene made Lin Xiao think back to the Main World.

The Gaia Will is a True God; all the children of the Divine Realm in the Main World are believers; the Starworld is the God Country; the fallen children of the Divine Realm who tumble into the Starworld become Prayers, guarding the God Country. Such similarity!

All the children of the Divine Realm in the Main World are born in the Main World, descend to Alien Worlds to plunder resources and rules to strengthen the Main World, and upon falling, return to the Starworld to guard the Main World. From birth to death, everything returns to the Main World.
