As soon as the Nightmare Shadow completely possessed Ken's body, it did the next thing it was ordered by its Lord to do.

But it quickly observed its body before a small smile settled on his face.

"A... A body... Fi... Finally."

Its Lord was right; humans were indeed stubborn creatures and would need to be forced.

Immediately 'he' finished observing his body, he instantly got up from the bed and stared outside through the window.

Without wasting time, he moved backward and began gathering Dark Energy around his body.

Since it was now in control of Ken, its Dark Energy was inside Ken's body, so it could utilize it.

He continued gathering Dark Energy around his body as he still continued moving back.

"Just like my Lord said," Ken muttered.

And then...

WHOOSH!@@novelbin@@

He suddenly dashed forward with incredible speed and jumped. As soon as he jumped, his body came in contact with the room wall, and then...

BOOM!

Ken's body blasted through the wall as he was now mid-air. Since the room was on the second floor, there was now a gaping hole in the wall of the male dorm building, specifically Ken's room.

The booming sound was so loud that it instantly woke up most of the students, especially those who didn't normally sleep deeply.

Leon smiled as he wore his mask. "It has already started."

Meanwhile, someone else was also watching.

Arin stood in front of his window as he saw the figure of a boy in the air, coming down with full force.

He squinted his eyes. "Successful, huh? Well, I guess it's time for some chaos..."

He already had his cloak on and was holding his mask. With his eyes fixated on Ken, who had just landed on the ground outside the male dorm building, he put on his mask.

Though, there was no need to rush because something still had to happen before their attack would finally begin.

The students who woke up due to the loud noise instantly rushed to their windows to see if they would be able to see the source of the loud noise.

To be honest, most of them were scared because of the loud noise. Well, the reason for their fear could be considered valid.

The last time a loud noise—or rather, a loud scream—was heard, they were met with Arthur's death. And now, this night, they were hearing something loud again. They couldn't help but be wary.

Just like Arin, Hector's window was also facing directly the front of the dorm building, and the moment he decided to look outside, he also saw a boy standing just a few distances away from the building.

"Huh? A boy standing outside by this time?" Hector muttered. "Won't he be caught by Brad?"

Hector honestly knew that Brad was a sleepyhead, so even a loud noise like that would not even merit the slightest reaction from him.

"Tch... I still don't understand how or why he was appointed as a security man."

That aside, Hector was still debating if he should approach the boy, but he wasn't sure he would do that. After all, the boy was just standing still without a single movement or anything. It was as if he was waiting for something.

But apart from that, there were two more reasons Hector was hesitating.

Firstly, if Brad ended up actually waking up and seeing them, he would get caught up in the consequences of being outside after curfew time. And secondly...

"There's a strange Energy emanating from this boy..." Hector muttered as he squinted his eyes. "It's faint, but..."

A slight frown appeared on his face. "It's very faint, but I can feel it."

"Just who is he?"

In another room in the male dorm building, a handsome boy with blue hair was sleeping—or maybe he just had his eyes closed?

But suddenly, his eyes snapped open sharply, and in the blink of an eye, he had already gotten up from his bed.

"That Energy... What is that...?"

Even though the strange Energy was faint, he was able to sense it, and he knew the direction it was coming from.

Without wasting time, he wore his clothes and instantly opened the window.

WHOOSH!

In a swift motion, he jumped down and landed perfectly before dashing towards the source.

Alex didn't even care about the curfew at this point. He just wanted to find out what that Energy was.

"And if I get my hands on whatever it is, I can assimilate that Energy and turn it into my own," Alex said as he squinted his eyes and continued dashing forward.

Hector, who was still looking through his window, suddenly saw another boy dashing forward.

"Huh? Another one? Or did someone decide to approach the boy?"

He was genuinely confused about what was currently going on. He couldn't help but feel uneasy.

'What is this feeling...? Something is definitely off... including that faint Energy I'm sensing.'

Meanwhile, Arin had already reached the rooftop of the male dorm building. He simply opened his window, and using his hardened claws, he was able to scale himself upwards to the rooftop.

His cloak fluttered due to the cool breeze of the night, and he gazed forward through his mask.

His eyes were fixated on Alex, who was already approaching Ken. Though, just like Leon ordered it, the moment it noticed a boy with blue hair approaching him, just like its Lord had described, it quickly hid its Energy and began hiding.

Alex had not yet reached Ken because he suddenly couldn't sense the Energy again, so he could no longer track him.

"Tch... The Energy suddenly disappeared," Alex muttered. "But that won't stop me."

"As long as I sensed it somewhere around here, whatever it is, it must surely be around," he added as his eyes darted around, checking to see if there was any sign of movement around.

Arin kept watching Alex from the rooftop without saying anything. A few seconds later...

"Ugh... This is quite fun, hehe."

Arin didn't even need to turn back to know who it was.

Leon arrived on the rooftop as he began walking towards Arin.

"I've arrived," Leon said. "I didn't know that scaling walls would be so enjoyable."

Just like Arin, he opened his window and used his claws as a Shadow Lord, he scaled himself upwards to the rooftop.

"The Nightmare Shadow listened to you and is obeying you," Arin said. "Just like I told you it would."

Leon nodded his head. "Yes. It felt amazing... the fact that someone actually obeyed me."

"Now I know why my brothers usually smile when ordering the maids around," Leon added with a grin.

Before Arin could say anything, a small stone was suddenly thrown to the rooftop from below.

Arin and Leon didn't panic because they already knew who it was.

"I'll go get her," Leon said with a cheeky grin.

"Okay, don't be loud and make sure to do that stealthily," Arin said. "You don't want to draw any attention."

"Understood," Leon said as he walked towards the edge of the rooftop and jumped down.

He was still surprised by the capabilities of his body ever since he swallowed that seed. He always felt light, and almost as if he could do anything.

Well, it was just a feeling. Yes, his physical capabilities were enhanced, but he certainly couldn't do 'anything'.

He landed on the ground without a sound, now standing face to face with Tessa.

Leon smiled as he stretched out his hand. "I've come to get you, my queen."

"Tch... Just carry me on your back," Tessa said quietly.

"Oh, sorry."

Leon turned his back to Tessa, and she jumped on him, holding him tightly.

If it were the library building, she would have been able to climb it by herself because of the things attached to the wall, but the dorm building was different.

Leon had no problem carrying Tessa and scaling the wall at the same time. After all, he had enhanced physical capabilities.

Tessa squinted her eyes as Leon had almost gotten to the rooftop.

'I know he's just acting unconcerned and funny to distract himself from the fact that we're about to have a heated battle,' Tessa thought.

It was definitely true. Leon was scared, but he didn't want to show it. Though, he certainly failed at trying to hide it because both Arin and Tessa had already noticed it.

As soon as they reached the rooftop, Tessa came down from Leon's back.

Arin stared at them before glancing back at Alex, who seemed to have gotten a lead and was now walking towards the female dorm building.

"Well, that was quite fast," Tessa said as she stood beside Chaos.

"Hmm, now that he's outside and we've all gathered, it's time to strike."

Arin glanced at Leon, who was unable to hide his scared expression anymore.

"Remember, we're counting on you," Arin said.

Tessa tapped his shoulder and gave him a smile.

Leon exhaled deeply and opened his eyes.

"Alright, let's do this."
