Chapter 691: Chapter 691: Silver Fox Enters the Territory

Wang Erdan stopped in his tracks, watching as the figures of the masked man and Zhou Yishui vanished. He couldn’t help but sigh.

“How do you know the Silver Fox is coming?” Mei Yingxue asked, her brows knitted together anxiously.

Fang Lin didn’t explain further. Instead, he went to reunite with Dugu Nian and the rest, and then the group looked for a place to hide.

Right now, they were unsure of the situation and it wouldn’t be wise to act recklessly. Therefore, it would be better to find a safe place to hide first and observe the situation before deciding on the next move.

Finding a safe place in the depths of Ferocious Mountain was not easy. While the ancient forest outside appeared to be a safe zone, its proximity to the border made it unsafe now.

Especially since many of the demon beasts deep within Ferocious Mountain were currently in a frenzied state, and the appearance of several Demon Kings was making the situation perilous for Fang Lin and his companions.

As it stepped into the deeper parts of Ferocious Mountain, a red Giant Elephant appeared, blocking the way of the Silver Fox.

The Silver Fox was infuriated, it let out a howl, and a fiery Bull Demon and a Black Wolf immediately sprang out from behind it, both of them were Demon Kings.

The body shape of the Bull Demon wasn’t much smaller than the Giant Elephant, and the Black Wolf was incredibly fast, comparable to a flash of lightning. Both Demon Kings simultaneously attacked the red Giant Elephant.

A look of disdain appeared in the eyes of the Giant Elephant. As a Demon King deep within Ferocious Mountain, it clearly looked down on a few Demon Kings from the outskirts.

Upon engaging in combat, the red Giant Elephant immediately demonstrated its prowess. Despite the united front of the Bull Demon and the Black Wolf, they were completely outmatched, and were beaten back mercilessly.

This was the difference in power!

Though all were Demon Kings, there were still differences in strength.

Being able to survive in the depths of Ferocious Mountain proved that this red Giant Elephant was not ordinary and was beyond the comparison of those Demon Kings from the outskirts.

But just as the red Giant Elephant was gaining an overwhelming advantage, the Silver Fox suddenly attacked.

The enormous fox tail swept across and directly wrapped around the Giant Elephant’s long snout. Blood instantly gushed out as a part of the elephant’s trunk was torn off.

The Giant Elephant screeched, blood flew from its wounded snout. The Black Wolf Demon King seized the opportunity, rushing behind the Giant Elephant and mercilessly dug a huge piece of flesh from its leg.

The Bull Demon also bellowed, fiercely ramming into the Giant Elephant.

The Giant Elephant was furious. It stretched out its elephant tusks and directly pierced through the body of the Bull Demon, rupturing its internal organs.

The Bull Demon screamed and fell to the ground. But the ramming had caused the Giant Elephant substantial pain, with blood spurting from its mouth.

The Silver Fox attacked again. From its tail came a stream of hair sharp as needles. Without missing a beat, they all penetrated the Giant Elephant’s body.

The Giant Elephant fell, its body covered in white hairs like a porcupine. Streams of blood were squirting out from its body, painting a ghastly picture.

The Silver Fox revealed a satisfied expression, commanding the horde of beasts to swarm the Giant Elephant.

Under the leadership of the Black Wolf Demon King and the Bull Demon, the horde of beasts found courage and lunged at the fallen Giant Elephant.

A once mighty Demon King was reduced to such a pitiful state, its flesh being gnawed on by the horde of beasts.

The Silver Fox pounced, its claw piercing deeply into the skull of the Giant Elephant.

Then, the brain of the Giant Elephant was scooped out by the Silver Fox.
