Chapter 44: Chapter 44 Just Right_1
The stage seemed to exist naturally just for Qiao Xiaren. Her slender figure moved within a few steps’ distance, her eyes instantly deepened with sentiment, and she radiated a captivating warmth.
Her dance moves were just flirtatious enough to stir everyone present, but not overly so.
At that moment, Qiao Xiaren seemed to glow. Every movement of her dance made it impossible to look away.
Straight and slender legs, a subtly encompassing aura, and her flexible and varied dance moves.
In sync with the background music, Xiaren hummed a Korean song. Her flamboyant dance and rich vocals blended seamlessly, leaving her audience awestruck and wanting to scream.
In fact, the screams were starting to flood the room.
...
Especially the girls, their cheers almost tearing the roof off the classroom. Qiao Xiaren encapsulated the essence of suave! @@novelbin@@
Qiao Xiaren looked at the reactions of the crowd, the corners of her lips curling into a slight smirk, and threw a provocative look at Ye Jianian.
This kind of arrogance and charm made it impossible for the girls to resist. They couldn’t describe their emotions at the moment, staring at the person in front of them, their hearts pounded so hard it felt like their blood was rushing to their heads.
“Ahhhhh— so cool, it’s unreal!”
“Your dance is incredible!”
In an instant, it was as if everyone had been captivated by Qiao Xiaren. If she were a man, surely no girl wouldn’t be enthralled.
The whole class was swept up in a wave of applause and screams. The other classes had no idea why the arts class was creating such a frenzy and cast curious glances their way.
This dance, Qiao Xiaren had perfectly encapsulated its grandeur and passion.
When the room fell quiet, everyone was captivated by the person at the centre. Each person’s gaze remained fixed on her. In comparison, the faces of Ye Jianian and Bai Xinran grew increasingly sombre, looking somewhat ashamed.
Almost in unison, people took out their phones to take pictures of Qiao Xiaren, their fiery gazes focused on her.
When the dance was over, Qiao Xiaren undid her carelessly tied bun. Her lush black hair floated down, blown upwards in a beautiful curve by the wind.
“Your turn, Ye.”
Qiao Xiaren’s eyes landed on Ye Jianian again. She made an elegant gesture with her left hand indicating it was his turn, and her lips formed a small curve.
Ye Jianian suddenly seemed lost for a moment, hesitated and looked somewhat flustered. He knew in his heart, he couldn’t outperform Qiao Xiaren.
“Forget it, we won’t bother with her.” Ye Qing quickly played the nice guy, grabbing Ye Jianian’s arm and heading straight for their seats, somewhat alleviating Ye Jianian’s embarrassment.
The surrounding classmates dispersed at first and then gathered around Qiao Xiaren, their eyes sparkling with admiration, eagerly talking animatedly around Qiao Xiaren.
“Xiaren, your dance was really good.”
“Yeah, can you teach me? You were so cool! I’ve decided, you’re my one and only goddess. Can you teach me, Goddess Qiao?”
The corners of Qiao Xiaren’s lips turned up slightly, exuding a lazy elegance: “Sure, if you have any dance moves you want to learn in the future, you can ask me.”
Perhaps seventeen or eighteen-year-old girls would initially harbour some inexplicable hostility towards those who are prettier than them. But after that dance and Qiao Xiaren’s down-to-earth attitude, they quickly dropped their resentment towards her.
What do you think?
