Chapter 461: Chapter 15 Chop off One Head, Two Grow Back—Long Live Hydra! (5k)

“Pu! Pu! Pu!”

Two long swords and a spear shot forward like lightning, unexpectedly beheading the three writhing snake heads.

Before the heads hit the ground, Atalanta rapidly plucked the bowstring. Three arrows struck their targets precisely, carrying the falling heads dozens of meters away and nailing them to different trees. Then the Burst Runes at the tips of the arrows activated, blowing the heads and the trees behind them to smithereens.

The four fighters’ overall coordination and attack sequencing was as fluent as flowing water. The dragon-serpent creature with three heads hadn’t even had a chance to react before it was left bewildered.

But just when they thought the dust had settled, Luo En noticed the flesh at the severed necks squirming and dividing. His eyelid twitched, and he burst out yelling.

“Be careful, it’s not dead yet!”

The Twins instinctively turned around and were shocked to see that the dragon-serpent, which they had beheaded, had grown new ones.

And not three, but six!

One head cut off, two more grew back? Was this truly a carbon copy of the Hydra?

Seeing this, Luo En’s heart sank.

Something was definitely wrong with Arcadia, and it most likely had something to do with Typhon’s Divinity!

“Roar~”

At the same time, the dragon-serpent, having regained its senses and realizing it had just died once, let out an angry hiss from its six newborn heads. Its mouths spewed out dark green venom. The Twins, although they managed to dodge the poison with their agile movements,

however, once the large volume of venom hit the ground, it instantly rose into a thick green cloud of poison fog.

The Twins inadvertently inhaled a breath of it and immediately felt dizzy and blacked out, their swords nearly slipping from their hands.

The poison of the Hydra, which not even the future Hercules in his prime nor the Immortal Sage Chiron could withstand,

was no less potent in this three-headed dragon-serpent.

Medea and Helen, having escaped danger, saw this and quickly waved their Magic Wands to chant divine words at high speed, offering assistance.

Two fierce gusts of wind swept forward, trying to disperse the accumulated poison fog, but the effect was minimal.

The thick green fog was viscous and heavy like ink clinging to an object, only ceasing when it had exhausted all life from the surrounding area.

“Bang bang!”

Accompanied by crisp shattering sounds, two crystal vials thrown by someone broke under the Twins’ feet. The grass-green Antidote in the air rapidly evaporated, making the poison fog around them much lighter.@@novelbin@@

Their groggy heads began to clear a bit.

“Antidote! Next, drink it down!”

Following the voice through the fog, the brothers instinctively raised their hands to catch two more vials thrown over, shakily pouring them down their throats.

However, the dark green poison fog had hardly faded, and the brothers soon became groggy again, their skins turning green and black.

The Antidotes Luo En had brought from the Medicine God’s hut were the universal version, and while they worked wonders for common poisonings,

they seemed somewhat inadequate against Divine poisons.

At the same time, Luo En noticed that in the air, countless tiny, dark green particles were frantically pouring into the Twins’ bodies through the exchange of air, skin contact, and the flow of Aether.

Not just through breathing, but skin contact and Aether exchange also exacerbated the poisoning.

“Bang!”

A thick, black serpent’s tail lashed out from the poison fog, brutally smashing the groggy Twins into the mud, as six snake heads roared and lunged at the two on the ground.

“Goddess Artemis, heed my plea and inflict annihilation upon my formidable foe!”

The solemn chant of divine words echoed through the wilderness. Atalanta leaned backward, her body forming an exaggerated arc, and she released one gold and one silver arrow into the sky.

At their zenith, the arrows vibrated and resonated with the stars and moon, splitting from one to two, and two to four, instantly multiplying to thousands. Countless Light Arrows fell like a meteor shower upon the six writhing snake heads and the monster’s massive body, the sound of rending flesh filling the air.

After this blow, the creature’s animosity was drawn away by Atalanta in the distance. The Twins, who lay helpless on the ground, narrowly escaped disaster. Yet as the poison penetrated further, they had virtually no strength left to move, and blood began to ooze from their eyes and mouths.

They had not expected to fall here before even reaching Arcadia.

If their comrades and relatives back home knew this outcome, they would surely be the laughingstock.

The consciousness of the two brothers blurred, and they exchanged bittersweet smiles, their expressions filled with regret.

Seeing that the dragon-serpent’s heads were turning back to the closest targets after venting in vain, the brothers closed their eyes in resignation, ready to meet their end.

“Pu!”

A javelin whistled through the air and struck the dragon-serpent’s heart, blasting a large hole through its chest.

“Hum!”

Simultaneously, a majestic hum came from the cosmos, and several streaks of golden light, like falling stars, streaked across the sky, falling towards the immobile Twins on the ground.

“Ding ding ding ding!”

The clear sounds of metal components colliding followed one after another.

With the last collision sound ceasing, two dazzling balls of golden light exploded out of the dark green fog. The dragon-serpent, irritated by the bright light, cried out in pain and stumbled backward.
