For the sake of his own blood pressure and heart, Luo En decided it was best to run first.

Thus, he drove his horse fiercely along the way, hastily heading towards Thessaly, eager to engage in the noble cause of protecting humanity.

So, in just a few days, the two of them reached the border of Thessaly.

The bronze chariot raced along the rugged mountain roads of Thessaly and continued on its course. However, when they passed through a dense forest, the clear sound of metal clashing echoed vaguely from within the woods, and Luo En abruptly tightened the reins, looking towards the source of the noise.

“Could it be a Centaur?”

Medea pointed towards several unique hoof prints at the side of the road and spoke up to remind him.

...

Luo En nodded, withdrew the bronze chariot back into its crest, and entered the dense forest with Medea, “Let’s go, let’s see!”

At that moment, within the forest.

A tall female warrior, with wheat-colored skin, wielding a spear and shield, and clad in silver armor, was battling alone against a group of Centaurs.

“Tch! You four-hoofed beasts, dare to run wild on my turf and even dare to start a bridal raid right in front of my eyes, as if Thessaly had no one!”

The female warrior cursed loudly, knocked down a charging Centaur with a spear, stepped on the Centaur’s head, and spat in contempt at the defeated enemy before her.

By this time, around her lay a dozen Centaurs.

Her crude and aggressive behavior, along with her use of “I” in referring to herself, made this exceptionally beautiful warrior seem oddly masculine.

The Centaur leader, wearing a bronze mask and wielding a huge axe, stared unabashedly at the exposed skin of the female warrior in front of him, mocking her in a stentorian voice.

“Battlefield… woman… get away… you are only fit to lie in bed, stick up your ass!”

“Hahaha. That’s a funny thing to say. Try saying it again and see. I’ll chop off your head before you can even open your mouth.”

Upon hearing this, the female warrior flew into a rage, crushed the head of a Centaur on the ground with her foot, her face contorted with ferocity not fitting her beautiful features, and charged toward the Centaur leader with her spear and shield raised.

“You dare to look down on me? Fuck you!”

The Centaur leader, seeing this, immediately drew a bronze spear from behind and shot it at the charging female warrior.

The female warrior swung her round shield to easily block the spear and scoffed in disdain.

“And you think you can sleep with me? Haven’t you eaten? Four-hoofed beast!”

Then, she threw her long spear with tremendous force, impaling the Centaur leader against a tree.

“Looks like, mine is both harder and bigger.”

The triumphant female warrior, sarcastically taunted again, let out coarse jokes effortlessly from her mouth, then stepped forward, intent on pulling out the long spear that had pierced through the Centaur leader and the tree trunk together.

However, just as she grasped the handle of the spear, a bizarre black and red mudflow burst out from the wound of the Centaur leader, twisting around the female warrior’s arm like writhing serpents.

What the hell is this?!

The female warrior was startled, ready to let go and retreat, but a strong sensation of heaviness came from below.

She looked down, startled to find her legs had somehow sunk into a pool of black and red mire, an indescribable, chilling aura spreading up her arms and legs, making her body feel weak and dizzy.

“She can’t move!”

“Kill her! Kill her!”

The surrounding Centaurs, noticing something was wrong, excitedly shouted.

“Come on, watch me tear you four-hoofed beasts to pieces!”

The female warrior gritted her teeth and roared, her face full of fierce killing intent.

The Centaurs who had witnessed this woman’s ferocity, intimidated by her aura, dared not advance.

Just as the standoff on the field fell into a stalemate, a rather clever Centaur had an idea and bellowed loudly.

“Cut down the trees! Cut down the trees!”

The Centaurs, hearing this, their eyes lit up, and they swung their weapons, pushing the surrounding fallen trees toward the immobile female warrior on the ground.

Facing the continuously falling giant trees, the female warrior who could hardly move was immediately knocked down to the ground, her entire body nearly sinking into the pool of dark red mud beneath her feet.

She struggled to prop herself up, cursing angrily.

“Damn mongrels! What skill is there in using sneaky tricks, let me out if you have the guts!”

However, the Centaurs, clearly not creatures of martial virtue, seeing their attack was effective, continued to push the felled trees toward the female warrior on the ground.

As more trees piled on her, the female warrior gradually became powerless, half of her face sinking into the mysteriously appearing stream of dark red mud on the ground, her breath growing more and more labored.

Seeing that she seemed about to be crushed to death by these trees, the deeply humiliated female warrior, enduring the dizziness from the dark red mud entering her mouth, let out a resentful roar.

“A duel! A damn duel!”

To this, the Centaurs responded with a giant tree that three people together could barely embrace.

Accompanied by the quivering sound of the trunk breaking, the ancient tree pushed together by force heavily slammed onto the female warrior on the ground.

“Bang!”

Just in the nick of time, a swiftly darting shadow broke through the air, and with a punch landed on the falling giant tree, the entire tree under the tremendous force instantly shattered into pieces, scattering in all directions.

Several unprepared Centaurs, struck by the flying wooden splinters, covered their bloodied faces, screaming in pain.

“Kill him! Kill him!”

Accompanied by furious roars, the Centaurs wielding spears and shields and giant axes charged toward the intruder on the field, ready to tear him into pieces.

However, before they could get close to him, dozens of purple-red streams of Magic Power shot out from the dense forest, instantly penetrating the heads of several Centaur companions.

Just this one strike instantly sobered up the enraged Centaurs.

Sensing fear in their hearts, they hastily retreated, trying to escape this bloody battlefield.

But just as they turned around, they saw several dozens of silvery-grey skeletons wielding swords and shields emerging from the other side of the dense forest, completely blocking their retreat.

Faced with attacks from both sides, the Centaurs turned their not-so-bright brains and, grinding their teeth, charged toward the closest intruder.

First, capture him as a hostage!

Seeing the Centaurs’ choice, Medea, not far away, raised her little hand, covering her eyes with pity.

After a familiar sound of flesh tearing, Luo En shook off the flesh residue on his hand, bent down to pick up the last piece of wood, and pulled out the female warrior buried underneath, asking in a deep voice.

“Hey, can you still make it?”

“I won’t die…”

The female warrior, leaning her half body against Luo En’s shoulder, opened her mouth, weakly replying.

Luo En nodded, continuing to inquire.

“What’s your name? Where’s your home?”

“Kenneth… from… Thessaly…”

With great effort, the female warrior spat out her last reply, then could no longer suppress the overwhelming waves of dizziness in her brain. Her vision went dark, and she fainted in Luo En’s arms.

Is it her?

Luo En glanced at the wheat-colored, exotic beauty in his arms, then looked toward the ground where a wisp of dark red mud was gradually fading and turned his gaze toward a patch of fallen grass in the dense forest, slightly frowning.

Something seems a bit off about this Thessaly region.
