Chapter 880

Chapter 880: 430 Warning_2 Chapter 880: 430 Warning_2 Without the slightest hesitation.

Everyone was stunned by her impressive counterattack.

They were initially taking a beating, but unexpected turned the tables in a blink of an eye.

Who would have thought that such a delicate beauty could be so fierce?

Kelly Martinez hurriedly stopped her, “Miss Romilly Powell, please, this can’t end well, someone will get hurt.”

Vanessa Aria was about to explode with rage.

In a short span of time, she had been repeatedly humiliated.

She couldn’t take her revenge on the person who had evaporated from the earthly world, nor could she dare to discipline this fat lady?

...

Has she disgraced her own name?

She would go mad without venting her fury.

She swung the wine bottle towards Madam Philbert’s head.

Madam Philbert’s eyes bulged with terror.

As blood dripped down her face, she fell heavily to the ground.

The sound of the bottle crashing down seemed to make the room shake, and the utensils on the table trembled along with it, creating a uniform and sharp clashing noise.

Vanessa Aria’s chest heaved rapidly, still not appeased.

It was like she was adding insult to injury, taking additional kicks even after victory.

Suddenly, her face turned pale and her right hand started trembling.

Her middle and index fingers in her right hand had recently undergone bone surgery and hadn’t fully recovered.

They were reinjured during the recent struggle which caused throbbing pain.

She broke out in a cold sweat, wishing she could kill the woman before her.

However, she couldn’t risk murdering someone in front of so many witnesses.

She would certainly make that woman beg for death but be unable to achieve it afterward.

“Madam Philbert…Madam Philbert, are you alright?” asked Kelly Martinez as she checked Madam Philbert’s vitals and then gave a sigh of relief.

“She’s still breathing.

Call emergency services quickly.”

That’s when people finally reacted.

Some dialed for emergency services and others for the police.

A few began taking photos of the unconscious Madam Philbert, while Mr.

Philbert showed no sign of distress and was inching away without raising a fuss.

It was at this point that Kelly Martinez noticed Mr.

Philbert, and she shouted: “Mr.

Philbert, Madam has been injured.

Please, don’t be angry.

Miss Romilly didn’t do it on purpose.

It was just a moment’s…”

Vanessa Aria squinted her eyes, suddenly remembering Mr.

Philbert, sneered, “And where do you think you’re going, Mr.

Philbert?”

Mr.

Philbert shivered and responded nervously, “I…

I really need to use the bathroom.

I’ll be right back.”

As he was about to escape, Vanessa Aria picked up Madam Philbert’s discarded high heel and threw it at Mr.

Philbert’s head.

With a much better aim than Madam Philbert, Vanessa Aria’s blow landed on target.

Mr.

Philbert winced and screamed in pain, clutching his head.

Vanessa Aria rubbed her head that had been hit by Madam Philbert, causing intermittent throbbing pain that challenged her sanity.

Vanessa Aria tilted her head, licking off the blood on her face, picked up a wine bottle from the table, and slowly approached Mr.

Philbert.

Mr.

Philbert backed away in fear, “Don’t…don’t come any closer.

This…this is illegal, I’m warning you…”

Vanessa Aria sneered, “I offered you respect, and you threw it away.

Now, you’ve infuriated me,” and swung down the wine bottle towards Mr.

Philbert’s head.

Mr.

Philbert screamed in anticipation of the pain, but nothing happened.

Peeking upwards, he saw the woman’s hand paused mid-air, just inches from his head.

The woman’s gaze was fixed on something behind him, a look of shock and disbelief in her eyes.

Mr.

Philbert cautiously turned his head and saw a tall and handsome man standing behind him.

Vanessa Aria abruptly dropped the beer bottle and sprinted after the man, leaving everyone in shock.

Mr.

Philbert felt his head, relieved at his narrow escape, only to be confronted with the mocking and amused gazes of everyone around him.

His ego had been bruised by this whole ordeal.

He had been pushed to his limits by a woman, and he would now be ridiculed by everyone he knew.

This thought made his teeth grind in anger.

He couldn’t swallow this bitter pill.

“Apology.

Unless she personally apologizes to me and my wife, I will not let this go.

I’ll see her in court,” declared Mr.

Philbert, seeming to regain some of his lost confidence.

Kelly Martinez somewhat uncomfortably said, “Mr.

Philbert, playing with fire won’t get you anywhere.

This Miss Romilly Powell has a heavy backing in Lostswa, you better…”.

But Mr.

Philbert only got more infuriated on hearing this, “As if I don’t have a strong backing in Lostswa either.

Who’s afraid of who?
