Chapter 993
Chapter 993: 468 Nightmare_1 Chapter 993: 468 Nightmare_1 “Oh, would you look at this, how lively,” Kelly Martinez popped out from who knows where, and looking at the newcomer with malicious intent, seemed to delight in the confluence of disaster.
Whistling, Kelly raised an eyebrow and laughed, “Mr.
Rinto, long time no see.”
Agave Rinto removed his raincoat, and with a raised eyebrow, greeted, “Mr.
Brian is in high spirits, I see.”
“Oh, nothing much, not as impressive as you, Mr.
Rinto.
Traveling from miles away, are you perhaps uneasy about Aubree?
Afraid that we might devour her?
You really need not be so concerned,” said Mr.
Brian mockingly.
There seemed to be something off about Aubree, his niece.
Agave Rinto tossed aside the raincoat, and Finnian Moore, who was standing behind him, quickly caught it.
He then stepped forward, hoisting an umbrella over Agave.
“I’ve always wanted to visit the place where Aubree grew up, and finally got the chance, how could I miss it, right, Mr.
Brian?”
“Haha, Mr.
Ɲ0νǤᴑ.сο
Rinto, seems like you care about Aubree a lot.”
Peter Aria, hearing the commotion, came out to see a man suddenly appearing outside the main gate.
His eyebrows knitted unconsciously.
“Agave Rinto?
What is he doing here?”
Especially after hearing what Kelly said just now, Peter Aria felt a little off.
No merchant is up early if there’s no profit.
That’s especially true for a man like Agave Rinto.
If he’s just here because he’s worried about Aubree, that would be even worse.
Madon Linggo chuckled, “It seems he wasted no time coming here as soon as he received the news.
Rain or shine, huh.”
Agave Rinto looked at Peter Aria, nodded, and smiled, “Dr.
Aria.”
And then to Madon Linggo, “Sergeant Linggo, thank you for your reminder, I have handed the offenders within my ranks to the prosecutor’s office.
I have faith in the law to deliver just punishment.”
Madon Linggo laughed, “Mr.
Rinto’s decisiveness is certainly commendable.”
Despite all the commotion outside, Aubree in the main hall had yet to turn her head.
Kelly explained, “Today is the anniversary of her master’s death.
She is keeping a vigil for her master.”
Agave Rinto frowned, “It’s so cold….”
He waved his hand, “Bring in the stuff.”
Finnian Moore made a call and soon, a group of men in black raincoats carrying a variety of bags and packages walked in.
There were vegetables, food, comforters, and other daily necessities.
Part of it was taken to the kitchen and the rest to the Zen Room.
There was enough of them to make up a soccer team.
Kelly drew a sharp breath and gave a thumbs-up to Agave.
“Mr.
Rinto’s very bold.”
A man with deep pockets, the more you look, the more agreeable he becomes.
Agave Rinto, holding an umbrella, stood outside the main hall for a moment, then turned around and headed towards the Zen Room.
Agave Rinto stood under the eaves.
Inside the room, the men in black quickly assembled a floor lamp, illuminating the room with a soft glow.
After spreading out comforters and pillows, lighting up incense, and fixing the drafty window, they started to work on the next room.
“Mr.
Rinto, you’re putting on quite a show.
I understand your goodwill, but this is against Aubree’s principles.
This is the Buddhist Nunnery, a place of tranquility, you’ve turned it into a vacation spot,” Kelly couldn’t help to complain.
They keep coming in droves, treating the Silent Moon Temple like a holiday resort, don’t they?
Agave Rinto chuckled, “Mr.
Brian, you’re overthinking.
No one cares about Aubree more than I do.
Making her live a little better within my power is both my responsibility and duty.”
With that, he walked into the Zen Room and closed the door.
Kelly looked at Anton Cook, “Do you see that?
This is the correct way to show dominance.
You should learn something.”
Anton Cook couldn’t find his words, “What the hell is he showing off here for?”
Kelly slid by Anton’s side, “I don’t know why you’re here stirring things up, but now we have Madon Linggo and Agave Rinto.
Are you satisfied?”
Anton raised an eyebrow at his words, “You seem quite free, how about I give you a task…”
Before he could finish, Kelly jumped back, “Stop, I don’t know you!”
The man quietly sat there, eyes half-closed, the fire crackling and sparking.
The dark pupils were like the pervasive darkness outside the window.
Madon Linggo yawned, “It’s late, let’s sleep.
We can talk about the rest tomorrow.”
Aubree had already mentioned earlier that they could choose whichever of the four Zen rooms they wanted to sleep in.
Now with Agave Rinto’s men here to fix them up, they wouldn’t have to do anything.
Agave Rinto had taken one of the rooms for himself, another room was empty for Aubree, leaving only two rooms available.
What do you think?
