Elizabeth Ma was utterly desperate inside, but she knew she had to obey the guards in the detention center. So, she quickly followed the others out of the cell.

Once they reached the playground, the guard said, "First, run three laps around the field, then you have half an hour of free time. After that, gather at the entrance to return to the cell!"

Everyone hurried to line up. Zhang Guifen, the head of the cell, was in charge of arranging the lineup. She glanced at Elizabeth and said, "You stand at the front. Everyone behind you will be watching. If you don't run well, I'll bash your head in!"

Then she turned to the others and said, "Support the old lady a bit, run slowly, don't wear her out."

Old Madame Xiao chuckled and said, "Guifen, you're so considerate. Although I'm old, I'm still in decent shape. I don't need anyone to support me. I'll just walk slowly behind you all."

Zhang Guifen nodded and shouted, "Ready, run!"

Elizabeth was at the front. Hearing this, she gritted her teeth, enduring the pain all over her body and the weakness from not eating properly for two days and nights, and started to run. The others followed her lead.

Elizabeth's body was very weak, and she felt like she was about to fall apart. After just a couple of steps, her legs gave way, and she almost stumbled.

The woman behind her kicked her in the waist and cursed, "You homewrecker, can't even run straight. What else can you do?"
