Chapter 1477 Stop procrastinating
There was a reason Lex had been putting off going to the resort. He had a quest with a time limit hanging over him, yet repeatedly he pushed back going to the resort. It wasn't because Lex was averse to the idea, but because his intuition had been warning him to keep a distance from angels.
The warning wasn't a subtle reminder either, as if letting him know that if he met the angels he'd face another inconvenient quest like the main character from a video game. Rather, this was like common sense telling a mortal not to walk onto the site of an impending nuclear explosion.
Even if he didn't consciously pay attention to it, the feeling was there, in the back of his mind, subtly nudging him away from it. It was only when he was consciously faced with two decisions, both heavily involving angels, that he finally realized that he had been subconsciously avoiding both of them.
But now that he had acknowledged it, the dam had burst, and Lex was exposed to the full brunt of how severely his instincts were warning him. Truthfully, it wasn't that strong - right up until he wanted to take action. Then his instincts warned him like he was about to walk into his own death.
Obviously, meeting angels to heal their wings put him in direct contact with angels, so the warning made sense. But as it turned out, so did going to the resort. It made sense, considering that the Seraphim Resort was within a realm that contained angels.
But he couldn't avoid going to the resort, so the question was, what was so dangerous about just meeting angels? More importantly, what were the Governors intentions giving him this ticket?
What do you think?
