The King of Hell's Genius Pampered Wife

Chapter 1961: Your Instructor

Yun Wenjing chuckled and said, “Don’t worry. You won’t be bored for too long.”

“What makes you say that?”

Among the trios of Water Medicine Class Three, Yun Wenjing stood out as the sharpest mind. His strategies were consistently effective, and his words always carried a sense of certainty that proved true time and again.

The moment those words left his mouth, all eyes, including Jun Hongbo’s, instantly turned toward him.

A sharp glint flickered in Yun Wenjing’s eyes. “Have you all forgotten what happened the last time Water Medicine Class Three went an entire month without an instructor?” he asked, his tone carrying a hint of warning.

Bai Ruohuan was momentarily stunned before bursting into hearty laughter. “Oh, I remember now! Hongbo got so bored that he poisoned the herb fields of both the Water Medicine and Wood Medicine Departments. What happened next? All the herbs the instructors were cultivating withered, including some that were centuries old. I can still picture those old folks wailing and lamenting as if the world had ended!”

Yun Wenjing tapped the table lightly, raising an eyebrow as he spoke with a sly grin. “Do you think they’d dare leave us idle for another month? Unless, of course, they’re ready to risk Hongbo’s next target being people instead of herbs.”

The entire class burst into laughter, their voices brimming with a mix of pride and disdain.

Even a nobody like Wu Jinshui chuckled proudly and cheerfully.

At their core, the young men and women in this class were filled with cynicism, harboring a deep-seated desire to see the rest of the Siam Continent plunged into misery and despair.

As the laughter echoed through the room, a sudden knock at the door interrupted the moment.

The laughter ceased abruptly, and all eyes turned in unison toward the source of the sound.

A young man dressed in an ice-blue brocade robe appeared at the doorway, slowly making his way into the classroom.

The young man possessed an otherworldly beauty, his delicate features exuding a refined elegance. The sunlight streaming in from outside illuminated his face, highlighting his translucent, alabaster-like skin—resembling the finest jade or a radiant, gentle moon.

Everyone in the classroom stared at him in a daze, momentarily unable to snap out of their trance.

It was Jun Hongbo who recognized the newcomer at a glance. With a raised brow and a playful smile, he remarked, “What a coincidence! We meet again.”

The newcomer was none other than Xi Yue, who instantly recognized Jun Hongbo as well.

It was the same young man who had locked eyes with him through the window outside the Water Medicine Department that day, his smile carrying a hint of wicked charm.

Jun Hongbo’s words snapped the members of Water Medicine Class Three out of their daze. Someone whistled and laughed excitedly, “Why didn’t we hear about a new arrival today? I don’t think I’ve seen you before! Hey, kid, which department did you get kicked out of?”

A girl giggled with a teasing smile and said, “Come over here, handsome. Sit with us—we promise we won’t bite.”

Xi Yue seemed entirely oblivious to their remarks, walking straight to the front of the classroom without hesitation.

At the front stood a rune array that was equipped with basic tools for teaching purposes.

She gently placed her hand on the platform. In an instant, iridescent lights burst forth. A barrier formed swiftly, enveloping the entire classroom.

At the same moment, the previously open doors and windows of the classroom shut themselves automatically.

The scattered desks and chairs began to move on their own, dragging along the stunned students sitting on them, slowly arranging themselves neatly. Meanwhile, the litter and debris carelessly tossed around the floor vanished without a trace in a flash of silvery light.

With an impassive expression, Xi Yue looked down at the wide-eyed crowd staring at her. In a calm voice, she said, “My name is Xi Yue. Starting today, I will be the instructor for Water Medicine Class Three. I look forward to working with you all.”

An eerie silence fell over the entire classroom.

After a while, the entire classroom erupted into a chaotic uproar.
