The Execution
A weird temple stood at the center of the barony. This was where dedicated followers of their God worshiped, day in, day out.
Its black walls had the skin of wolves hanging from them. The stench of blood was particularly strong around the temple, and there were some parasitic bugs that could be seen on its surface if one focused enough.
Regardless, this was the best look the temple had, according to the worshippers that is.
They believed their God to be the God of Hunting, the God of Wolves, and the God of Blood. So they gave him a fitting temple of worship.
The warriors reached a flight of stone stairs that led to the temple elevated on higher ground.
Vesta stumbled forward after one strong and rough push from a warrior, and she dropped to her knees, skidding across the ground to a halt. Luckily, her Qi stopped her from getting injured.
