The Male Leads Are Trapped in My House

Chapter 236

The Monster Wave Begins

Dudududududu—

The earth trembled relentlessly.

Monsters of all shapes and sizes surged forward, crammed together as they flooded through the narrow gaps between buildings.

Some were crushed under the sheer pressure of the swarm, their heads bursting like overripe fruit, their bodies flattened beneath the stampede.

It was grotesque. A scene so utterly horrifying that it left everyone breathless in shock.

And the worst part—

"H-Help! Please, help me!"

"Aaaagh!"

There were survivors trapped in the middle of it.

But there was nothing we could do for them.

Some had already been trampled to death, their bodies reduced to pulp beneath the writhing mass. Others were still alive, being torn apart, devoured while screaming for mercy. Some were in the midst of transformation, their bodies twisting into something monstrous as the infection overtook them.

If hell could be put into a single image, this was it.

But our biggest problem wasn’t the chaos within the streets.

It was the creatures falling into the river.

The mass of writhing bodies was so dense that many were being pushed off the ledges, tumbling into the water.@@novelbin@@

And those that fell—were now drifting toward us.

As we fought off the creatures caught in the current, it became painfully clear that the commotion was drawing more attention.

Cold sweat trickled down my back.

One small silver lining—at least the ones floating downriver weren’t replicating themselves.

They were still violent, still starving for flesh, but at the very least, they weren’t multiplying.

"We need to move. Now."
