Chapter 245
Prince Theodore and his guards led the survivors of the camp down to the basement.
The door leading upstairs was tightly sealed to prevent the monsters from getting in.
At the moment, there were so many monsters that it was impossible to predict when they would be able to go back outside.
Lady Cotton gripped Lady Seymour’s hand tightly and hid among the survivors, occasionally glancing at Cherry.
Cherry was discussing their next plan with Theodore, Ethan, and Aurora.
“If we just wait here, those things will eventually tire out,” Ethan said in a relatively relaxed tone, despite the gravity of the situation, giving the impression that he was calm.
“What’s there to worry about? We’ve got Cherry.”@@novelbin@@
“Well, if I get bitten, I’ll be infected too, you know?”
“But you’ve got me to use as a shield.”
“...I told you not to handle my body so recklessly.”
“Your choice of words is a bit dangerous.”
Ethan covered his chest with both hands, and Cherry stared at him silently. She said nothing, but her eyes were clearly filled with reproach.
Aurora and Theodore, however, seemed uninterested in their trivial conversation, continuing their discussion about the escape plan with serious expressions.
Cherry seemed a bit embarrassed and gave Ethan’s shoulder a light tap.
“Ethan, got any good ideas?”
“Drop the ‘sir,’ Cherry. It sounds more affectionate that way, don’t you think? Hmm?”
What do you think?
