While Rui immersed himself in the contributions of the members of the Water Sect, the world rapidly shifted toward the final preparations for the commencement of the Solution of Harmony. Days passed as Martial Masters prepared themselves for a grim future where they were the sole protectors of human civilization, bearing great responsibility and burden.

It was in times like this that they lamented the impending departure of the Martial Sages and the fact that they would be the highest Realm, practically speaking, in the Panama Continent until the Sage returned.

Many secretly regretted ever having wanted to experience the prestige and power that came with being the strongest Realm of Martial Artists. At the very least, in the Era of Darkness, that meant nothing but responsibility.

Many Martial Masters were deeply reluctant to take on such an immense responsibility without really having any say in the matter. Rui had been the only Martial Master in the past with the political power to alter the outcome of the trajectory of human civilization, but all other Martial Masters simply had to accept the decisions made.

They didn't have much of a choice but to leave their polities and go to another nation, for no nation would be willing to give them refuge without some contribution on their part. Unfortunately, the nations around the world had a lot of leverage over them.

The price of the Martial Mind was too much of a liability. Entering a coma-like sleep where one was completely and entirely vulnerable meant that Martial Masters could not solo. They needed the backing of a proper and powerful nation that could secure them during this weakened phase.

Of course, an even greater liability existed for Martial Sages.

And they would be going into the Beast Domain, where there was no civilization to protect them in their weakened state. "We have long ruled out the practical viability of transporting Martial Sages back and forth from the human civilization to the Beast Domain for them to recuperate from the consequences of the Martial Soul," the head of the strategic task force of the Solution of Harmony remarked. "Unfortunately, the logistics are just impossible and make for an inefficient application of Sage capital. Since only Martial Sages can survive the Central Highlands of the Beast Domain…"

He tapped at the core of the Beast Domain on a map, "…it will mean that a Martial Sage will have to waste power and time transporting exhausted and strained Martial Sages, which will certainly lead to waste of power and a weakened Sage-level task force."

In an extravagant conference hall, the leaders and representatives of not just every Sage-level powerhouse but also every Sage-level nation were gathered. The latter hadn't had the political power to influence the plans of the powerhouse really quickly but were forced to partake in the Solution of Harmony nonetheless.

"And so the finalized solution we have honed on is…" the head of the strategic task force stroked his mustache as he shifted the screen, pointing to the proposed solution, "a highly secure stasis chamber that will allow Martial Sages to recuperate safely and in an extremely well-hidden manner."

The screen displayed the final iteration of the stasis chamber that was proposed to allow Martial Sages to recuperate in the Beast Domain from the consequences of the Martial Soul.

The artifact eerily resembled a tomb within which a Martial Sage would be sedated and put to sleep to deal with the consequences of the Martial Soul and Mind. All manners of glowing circuitry lines and intricate components and machinery ran across the surface of the entire tomb, giving it an extremely detailed exterior.

"The stasis chambers, designed by the Esoterist himself in conjugation with the Divine Doctor, are chambers that will aid and slightly accelerate recovery, shortening the period to that of only eight hours, allowing Martial Sages to be more effective and productive," the head strategist explained. "The Esoterist has provided extensive documentation for our technicians to calibrate and maintain periodically for six months. He has also created a… 'dumbed-down' manual with pictures that, according to him, would allow even Martial Sages to understand how to use them."

Queen Lianiala, Blood Lord Vrukshus, and the Martial Pontifex sharpened their gaze at the thinly veiled insult to their intelligence.

The head strategist grew pale. "T-Those were his words, not mine."

"Continue," Emperor Rael ordered with a calm voice. "And so you have concluded that these 'stasis chambers' are the best plan and system to ensuring the recovery of the Martial Sages?"

"Yes," the head strategist remarked. "Out of all, none are better strategies to pursue than this plan. We have been testing them extensively in the manifold of the Kandrian Empire and so far have found that it fulfills all the conditions that we have set for the recovery system of the Martial Sages. It comes equipped with an exceptionally powerful stealth and defense system that can withstand some focused Sage-level attacks, much to our shock. This is not just thanks to the ingenious technology of the Esoterist, but also the Primordial Seed that the Namgung Clan has graciously provided."

The Reverend of Reckoning nodded in a measured, ordered motion. "These 'stasis chambers' will also be what protects me and my fellow Namgung Sages. There is no meaning in skimping out."

"I think I speak on behalf of the entire alliance when I say we are grateful for the Namgung Dynasty's cooperation in this matter," the Emperor of Harmony's rich voice was friendly. "With this, we have finalized almost all the details of the Sage-level Siege into the heart of the Beast Domain. We have plotted out tentative plans and different strategic templates depending on what the Martial Sages of human civilization find in the Central Highlands of the Human Civilization."

He gazed back at the map of the Beast Domain. "They will be by themselves when they enter what might be the single most dangerous region in the entire world. And yet…"

He closed his eyes, "I have faith."

His tone was strong.

"I have faith in the Martial Sages of human civilization."
