What they beheld was beyond their wildest fathoming.

They had conceived of many possible environments in the very epicenter of the Beast Domain.

They had conceived of extremely intense and hostile environment that would weaken them and strengthen their opponent.

They had conceived of simply barren lands devoid of all life.

And yet, for all their theorizing and conceptualization, they couldn't have fathomed in their wildest dreams that the very epicenter of the Beast Domain was a Lost City.

One that was so pristinely preserved that one would have thought they were works of art finely carved out of marble.

The skyscrapers that lined the entire countryside were massive. The infrastructure of the fossilized and frozen civilization was unlike anything one had ever seen in the world. Roads were neatly tarred and lined, distinct from sidewalks that stretched about buildings. Along the road were strange carriages with a shorter roof and a longer body, comprised of four seats within them with windows and doors on each side. Along each road were poles that stood up tall and straight with inscrutable purposes. There were even mechanized versions of bicycles, two-wheeler vehicles that didn't appear to need manual labor to travel.

Some poles even connected a network of wires that spread throughout the entire country. Their were all manner of technological machinery in and about the streets, more than most of them could even begin to fathom. Some they didn't recognize.

Some they could understand and compare to carriages.

And others they could even recognize.

Humanoid robots that conducted patrols, still hovering in the air by virtue of the esoteric matter that has fossilized them midair by strange principles they didn't understand. Although it wasn't clear from the outside, it didn't take a genius to note the pronounced space at its very center that seemed to have functioned as the cockpit for people.

It was consistent with the discovery that the Reverend of Reckoning had made.
