The Novel’s Antagonist: I walk the path of a Villain

Chapter 97 Like... Really?

"I don't want to have to ask twice. I have a lot on my plate already. We are relocating all of you to the main academy city, and there is an overwhelming amount of work to be done. I am in no mood for stupidity—especially yours."

The vice principal jabbed a finger in my direction, his expression twisted with pure, unfiltered rage. He looked absolutely livid—like really, really pissed. His face was flushed an unhealthy shade of red, his brow furrowed so deeply it seemed like his entire forehead would cave in.

"Start talking, both of you! Now! Or I will suspend your monthly allocation for three straight months—including the immediate revocation of all your privileges."

At this, I noticed Celestina's eyes widen in sheer horror.

Seems he struck a critical nerve with her.

"What happened?! How did you two idiots manage to destroy the alchemy lab?!" he bellowed, slamming his fist onto his desk with enough force to send a tremor through the room.

I stole a quick glance at Celestina, who was standing rigidly beside me. She flicked her gaze toward me as well.

"Fine," I sighed, "I'll talk."

Honestly, I wasn't in the best condition to explain anything. My clothes were in complete tatters—to the point where my inner shirt and shorts were fully exposed. But Celestina wasn't faring much better. She had even been forced to use an emergency gear-up relic in the middle of our fight, right after I—well—accidentally disintegrated her clothes with one of my attacks.

I won't lie. I was at a complete loss for words.

The way she had slammed against the wall… completely naked.

It was… weird.

Well, I was probably the only one who saw that since the crowd had already backed away before it happened. The relic activated so fast it was barely noticeable.

…And yet, I still couldn't get it out of my head.

The whole situation had been so goddamn arousing. One moment, I was on the brink of reaching the peak of my blessing, feeling my power about to surge—then suddenly…

BOOM!

She went flying across the room, collided with the wall, and—out of nowhere—turned completely naked.

I was so caught off guard that whatever strange sensation I had been experiencing instantly vanished.

"I was in the middle of concocting a potion based on my hypothesis when this… 'lady' suddenly stormed over and tried to attack me for absolutely no reason," I said, looking straight at the vice principal.

"Lies!" Celestina spat, slamming her hands onto his desk. "He tried to charm me!"

"…How?!" I asked, genuinely baffled.@@novelbin@@

What the fuck does that even mean?!

"…Elaborate," the vice principal said, his hands clasped together, his tone leaving no room for nonsense.

"I have handled countless potions in my life. I am well-versed in love potions, and I know their effects."

My eyes widened.

Wait.

Is that what she's been going on about this entire time?!

But—

When the hell did I ever use a love potion on her?!

"I don't know the exact potion he used," she continued heatedly. "I don't know how he did it, especially since I couldn't sense it at all. But I know this bastard did something! My heart rate increased unnaturally just looking at him, I started feeling flustered—shy, even! I know this was his doing!" She slammed the desk again, as if to reinforce her point.

I stared at her, dumbfounded.

…Wait.

Could it be that she just… fell for me?

Because of my absurdly good looks?

…Okay. That was a weird way to put it.

I feel like I'm turning into a narcissist.

Tsk.

"Firstly, minus two thousand points," he said. There was no smile on his face. In fact, he seemed completely different from our previous meeting—more serious.

Something must have happened.

"WHAT?!" Celestina shrieked.

"Sit. DOWN. Both of you," he commanded, his tone sharp and unwavering. We exchanged a glance before reluctantly taking our seats.

"I reviewed your report," he continued, adjusting his glasses with a practiced motion. "And while it is exactly as you claimed, I had already instructed your teacher to investigate the matter. According to his findings, there were no traces of such anomalies in the atmosphere."

"BUT THAT—!" She tried to protest.

"Minus five hundred more," he interjected coolly.

Celestina clenched her fists, grinding her teeth as she shot me a murderous glare.

"I have also reviewed the footage from the nanocams," he went on, flipping through a document. "After careful consideration, I've reached a decision. You are at fault. As punishment for destroying the lab, you will not receive your monthly allocation for this cycle. Additionally, you will be stripped of all lab privileges, and any applications for a personal lab will be annulled for two consecutive months."

"WHAT?! BUT—!"

"One thousand more points deducted," he stated, barely sparing her a glance as he resumed reading.

"…..ARGGHHHHHHH!" Celestina let out a furious scream before stomping her foot on the ground. The sheer force sent cracks through the floor as she stormed out of the office, her rage palpable.

…Well, that went well.

"And you," he said, turning his gaze to me.

I met his stare, waiting.

"Get out."

I nodded and silently stepped out.

Why the hell is this bastard so grumpy today?

Oh well, time to implement the first step of my plan.

And that is—catching Rizel.

To achieve that, I will have to appear vulnerable to her. And for that to happen, I must completely avoid being close to any of the girls today.

Wait… I think there's a private training room on the top floor. Hardly anyone ever goes there. Yes, that place—Ariana brought me there once. She practically refused to let me leave, keeping me there until I had missed curfew by three whole hours.

Well, technically, curfew didn't apply to me, so…

Anyway, that day really reminded me of how much we did it back on earth. Sometimes, it felt like she was an addict—always craving more, never satisfied.
