The Path to Becoming The Worst Villainess

"Ahko..."

"Hmm?" Ahko stepped out of her daze.

"So... Can you tell me more about the new abilities that you got from the gods?"

"Probably not all since some ranges are bigger than this room."

"That's fine... I just wanted to see how powerful a person is after they are blessed by a god, but you are a different story... an Anomaly even..."

"What makes you say that?" Ahko tilts her head.

"Well, first of all, you previously were the infamous G rank girl, the only G rank in the world and the weakest person in the world. You are practically a walking punching bag for everyone, even F ranks, and there's nothing you can do about it." Layla chuckles quietly.

"... What did I tell you about talking about my past?" Lydia realized her mistake and quickly made an awkward laugh whilst Ahko stared at her, not breaking any eye contact.

"... W-Well... L-Lydia can talk about your past... W-Why can't I..?" She tried to retort, but her eyes were lowered, not daring to look at Ahko.

"Looks like someone needs a beating." Ahko firmly grabbed her chin and forced her face to look at her eyes.

"W-WAIT!! I-I'm sor-!! MMPHH!!" She tried to apologize, but her mouth was sealed shut by Ahko's strength. Her breathing is becoming ragged as she is forced to stare Ahko in the eyes.

While her smooth and hypnotizing hand may makes Layla a little hazed. Ahko's eyes are the same as ever, being round and sapphire, and most importantly, it is still very hard to look away. But that is largely overshadowed by the fear that keeps rising inside her. She tried to look away or even close her eyes. After all, one of the effective ways to not be scared by something is by looking away or closing one's eyes. Ahko's eyes are too hypnotizing to look away. Her mind was yelling at her eyelid muscle to close her eyes or just blink, but she couldn't.

Layla's already widened eyes widened more, and she screamed, but all Ahko could hear were only muffled as Layla felt thousands of sharp knives penetrating every part of her body. She can feel her muscles quickly flex and cannot relax as a small movement on her legs causes intense pain. The pain is too much to bear. Her eyelids automatically closed, but they were quickly torn apart to pieces. Now, there's nothing that can block her eyes from Ahko's eyes that keep on staring, not even caring about her pain as she probably is the suspect of whatever is happening to he body.

Ahko released her grip, and Layla fell to the ground and tried to scream but was met with blood rising from her throat. She tried to cough, but the muscles in her throat couldn't even do such a thing as if the knives had made her muscles stuck in place. Her panicked state didn't even make her realize that she couldn't move any part of her body except her eyes. Blood was coming out of her mouth as she passed away in a standing position while lying on the ground.

"Those were two of my abilities. Dark Spikes and Illusion."

Layla wakes up and immediately falls to the ground. She checked every part of her body that was in 'pain' but nothing. She didn't even feel any pain on her chin when Ahko firmly gripped it. Her ragged breathing subsided as she let out a very loud sigh. But that wasn't for long before she felt some pain in her body once again, but not as frequent as when in the illusion. She looks at Ahko, who is giving a wicked smile as if she's enjoying this despair in Layla's eyes. She liked the illusion she put on Ahko and enjoyed every second of it. Though she can't see it in her own eyes since the caster of the illusion put into a 3rd perspective.

"W-What the fuck, did you do to me..?" Layla angrily asked.

"Hmmm? Casted an illusion?" Ahko answered with the same smile.

"If it was an illusion... Then why the hell am I still feeling the PAIN!?" Layla shouted and quickly stood up.

"I don't know. Probably the phantom pain." Ahko shrugged.

"Phantom pain? Is that one of your ability that you put into me without me fucking knowing?"

"No... pain that comes when your body still didn't adapt to the real world after the illusion."

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ILLUSION!?"

"Illusion of killing you because you talk about my past."

"YOU TRAUMATIZED ME!!"

"And it was your fault, isn't it?"

"I-I!! I..."

"If you watch your mouth, then this whole this would never happened."

"Lydia can! Why can't I!?"

"You see... You aren't my friend. You are technically my slave but not with the ability that I can control your life."

"Mistress never consider you as a friend." Kate uttered.

"You are just a tool for Mistress."

"Quiet, you two."

"My apology, Mistress." Their voices sync as they bow their head.

"Y-Your slave..?" Layla looked down, and tears formed under her eyes.

"Now, no need to cry. It's too late to cry for that."

"I wouldn't be in this state if it wasn't for yo-"

"Me? Didn't you and your party the one coming?"

"They did nothing wrong! And you took their lives solely because of what?"

"They are in my way."

"IN YOUR WAY!? YOU CAN JUST TELL US TO FUCK OFF!!!" Layla pushed Ahko to the wall and tried to punch her but stopped by the 2 slaves.

"I can't guarantee you guys will not tell the guild about this."

"Oh, you fucking sadictic piece of shit!"

"Might as well be since I will lose my emotion pretty soon."

"Good! Lose your fucking emotions!! You can't feel happiness or any shit!"

"That means I can kill anyone, including innocent children, without feeling guilty." Ahko chuckles.

"YOU!! NO WONDER WHY THEY BULLIED AND RAPED YOUR ASS!! YOU AREN'T ANY DIFFERENT THAN THOSE FUCKING CHILD RAPERS!!"

"Now, now, don't be like that. I wouldn't torture them or raped them, I can't feel any pleasure from doing that."

"Honestly, I can't trust you humans anymore. So why bother I trust you and them?"

"Oh, I can definitely assure you that we're going to keep it secret!"

"But the guild? Wouldn't they be confused about why you guys came back? You can't say you have destroyed the dungeon."

"... We can say someone else already destroyed it.."

"Hmmm... Well, I was planning to stay there a little bit longer. Wouldn't be weird when you guys said someone already destroyed the dungeon when they didn't come back after, let's say... a few days?"

"That's your own fucking problem not ours!"

"They could've sent a search party or something and found out that the dungeon never really destroyed."

"So? You only told us to just say that the dungeon has been destroyed, keeping whatever you are doing a secret, and that's it. There's no fucking agreement about your future problems!"

"You see, that's what I don't like about you guys. I don't want any problem."

"Holy shit, you are delusional and narrcist fucking bitch!"

"Why did you guys come in the first place?"

"... When we were trying to accept the mission, Lydia never said anything about you also going to this mission..."

"Oh- Wait, you guys give the mission to Lydia?"

"...What about it?"

"Well, I did give the mission to Lydia... Isn't the paper already been given to her until I came back?"

"... Looks like she's worried about your sorry ass."

"Why would she do that..."

"It's because you are alone in this mission dumbass! When the hell did you take the mission!?"

"Hmmm... I think around 3 days before guys take it, and that is when I first met her after so long."

"See!? You have been gone for 3 days! Of course, she thinks that you are dead or something!"

"I can understand that. She really cared about me."

"... It's rarely heard of that a mission been placed back to the board without any report saying that you are dead or missing."

"Hmmm? Tell me more about it."

"First of all... Get your fucking slaves to let go of me!!"

"You did try to attack me."

"Because it's YOUR fault! Now release me or else I'll not explain any shit to you!"

"Fine, fine, you two." Ahko shook her head fast.

"Understood, Mistress." They both put Layla onto her feet from the arm lock and slowly move back a couple of feet.

"Thank you." Layla thanked angrily as she patted her clothes where the slaves were touching.

"Now, can you explain it to me?"

"Fine... Usually, if someone never goes back to the guild after taking a mission, a search party will be sent to search in the mission area. It's good news if they found his or her body, not so much if he or she literally vanished in the mission area."

"They didn't go search the path going to the area?"

"Of course they did idiot, but it's not too deep."

"So what would happen after that?"

"Did you know all of this already? Or like you never asked Lydia?"

"I was dealing with other things, so I rarely know about some missing person stuff."

"Huh.."

"Continue."

"... The search party go report to the guild that the person is dead or still missing. After that, the mission paper goes back hanging on to the mission board with a new requirement."

"So if a D rank goes missing on a mission, the mission now requires C rank?"

"Correct, but it's a little different for dungeon mission."

"Explain."

"Every mission about destroying a dungeon requires a party. And usually, if the dungeon is newly discovered the guild will try to identify the age of the dungeon before making a mission about it."

"How are they gonna do that?"

"You can ask Lydia for that. So, if it's under 2 weeks of age, then it'll be classified as an E rank dungeon, then D rank from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. It's why the goblin dungeon is a D rank dungeon, since it's only been 3 weeks."

"Since a single missing person isn't a thing for dungeon mission, what happens when an entire party goes missing?"

"It'll be a little easier to find a missing party. An entire party wiped out is kinda uncommon, it's like maybe 1 or 2 people will survive whatever is attacking them or if the dungeon is too hard. If the survivor said it's the dungeon, then the rank will go one or two higher. If it's something else, then the guild will know there's a dangerous monster near the destroyed dungeon."

"What would happen if the search party also goes missing?"

"That is a problem. An even bigger and powerful search party will be sent."

"The search party not gonna kill whatever killed the adventurers and the weaker search party?"

"They are a search party. They will not get paid for exterminating the threat, they only scout then leave."

"Then they reports back to the guild then the guild put the mission?"

"Mhm, it's fucking stupid."

"Not everyone wants to be a hero just to be not get paid by that."

"Who the hell even set up that system!? They have to remake that so the threat can be gone quickly!!"

"So you guys saw me as the only one inside the dungeon. Were you guys in shock?"

"Very. It's pretty rare, you know, to find a solo dungeon extermination. It's usually a high rank like A rank destroying D or C rank."

"Is it for money?"

"You bet it is. Fucking greedy people."

"Most adventurers take mission are for the money am I right?"

"I-... Yeah..."

"... Anyways, you wanna see more about my abilities?"

"Fuck no, go keep it to yourself, I don't want experience any of that anymore."

"Suit yourself, Tommorow I will go to another mission. Don't be worried if I don't come back."

"Like no one will be except for your meat riders..." Layla sits down on the bed and rests her body on the wall.

"Of course we will be worried if you don't come back, Mistress..." 

"What did I say?" Layla smirked.

"I've been wanting to ask you..."

"What?"

"Why is there only one bed?"

"It's my room?"

"Then where did they sleep?"

"On the floor."

"No mats or anything?"

"It's an inn, what are you expecting? They ain't complaining, so why would I care?"

"Looks like you have to sleep on the floor too then." Ahko slowly walks up to Layla.

"Huh? Why the hel-"

"Sleep on the floor, dear love~" Ahko gently carressed Layla's cheeks.

"Y-Yes..."

"Heh, imagine falling into [Charm.]" Ahko smirked, knowing she could control Layla's life with a few words if she wanted to. The charm is that powerful.
