This wound in reality had closed more quickly than it normally should and he suspected that it was the work of the World Stele who was ensuring that he would not be able to get back into this space quickly enough to kill Thenos, and if he was a bit slow with his reaction, then he would have lost his chance to stop this titan.

If this space could hide Doom Star from the gaze of all of reality then it would be nearly impossible for Rowan to find it without the aid of the World Stele, and Thenos would be assured of his freedom, this was an outcome that Rowan did not want. Thenos could not be regarded as one of his greatest enemies, but his talents made it inevitable that he would crave Rowan's powers, and the best moment to deal with this great threat was when he was at his weakest.

To rapidly enter this space in a nondescript manner, the dimensional soul had taken the form of a golden glow, which resembled a solar flare, and against the bright glow of Rowan's main body, this flare of light was lost within and he could easily slip past the attention of the World Stele.
